That it was a cheap deal
So central. Reasonably priced. Lovely staff. Big living space with a nice view. Would rmend. We ll be back!
The employees were pleasant and friendly. The living space was very spacious and the scenery nearby were lovely.
Location wise it was perfect. Torquay harbour and the Babbbe coast and scenery were very easy to reach if you love walking. It is a quiet part of the city adn all you could have heard were birds singing :- . The employees was very helpful and nice to talk to.
The morning meal was nothing to like., the evening meal was even worst The location was ok.
The bar prices were very reasonable.
The area and location wasn’t too bad
Great budget hotel. The employees were very pleasant and amodating extreamly Josh who emailed me and kept me informed before I turned up. The morning meal was adequate and the standard of the living space was more than acceptable.Unfortunately my partner and I had to return to London early but we will definitely stay there again. Thank you all for the pleasant stay
1. Location was good.2.Value for money.
Location was excellent, close to sea front and coastal path, pubs and restaurants. Room was a good size, light and bright with pleasant views. Garden was attractive.
Small living space for a double size water in bathrooms too little
Staff were nice
Unfortunately I can t say I liked anything about this hotel. Even for a budget hotel this is well below par! It should be rated a 1 star if that!
It is placed in a good location.
It was a cute set up with evening entertainment and everyoneing together for it .
Bedfy. Staff friendly and very helpful. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom clean. Lovely deep bath. Great location beautiful sea view few minutes walk away. Evening entertainment. Bus stop to go to Torquay harbour 3 minute walk away. Iron and ironing board provided. Freeview tv. Had a great stay with family felt safe with the children. Great sleep peaceful hotel even with evening entertainment. Well lit carpeted corridors with cameras for added security. Bedding clean and fresh and bathroom spotless. Will definately stay here again and bargain prices 2 double rooms easter saturday night £104 shame no family living space available but hotel put us rooms close togetherFreephone taxi service with bargain rates get your price on the phone so no surprises.
The forecourt to have a drink within the sun
The downstairs lounge was nice. That s it!
Reasonable priced living space for this hotel Staff were friendly
Very helpful and friendly staff, spotless very spacious rooms, gourmet morning meal with 3 different types of morning meal meats, excellent on site restaurant and bar. I never stay anywhere in torquay other than the Trecarn Hotel for all these reasons and the fact that it is extremely reasonably priced. I would rate this stay and all my prior stays as nothing less than 10 10.
The bed wasn’t great, but ok. We paid an extra £7.50 per head for breakfast. However, I’m not keen on self service breakfast. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Almost as good as Wetherspoons!
We stayed here a few times now and last time I was there the hairdryer blow up on me... the lady on the desk remembered what had happened last time and checked the dryer before we arrived and up graded us as a goodwill gesture because of my last experience there.... ex
👎 The shower was boiling hot and couldn’t be turned down. The bed sheets were ufortable and we paid for late checkout but we’re disturbed at 11am to checkout
Being woken up at 4am by people screaming. The bathroom stank of cigarette smoke and was very damp and dirty. The living space hadn’t been hoovered, and wasn’t at all what we booked.
Parking on the road. WiFi only in reception not in any rooms. Food very expensive. Rooms very basic need a touch up of paint.t on any bus route. Too far from city centre. bath mats. Fan so old An dated an broken. Ironing board old An burnt.
Could have done with a slightly later or flexible check out time.
The living space we stayed in smelt musty when we arrived and the bathroom smelt of cigarette smoke. The bed was not thatfy to sleep on and rubbish was found behind one of the bedside tables.
The living space and the bathroom were not very clean. Upon arrival we noticed that the toilet was not cleaned at all and I had to speak to the reception about that asking to get someone to clean it. The shelf under the mirror was dirty and the shower glass curtain was covered with dirtish streaks. The bedside shelves were dusty and covered with staines. On one of the bathroom walls there was still a black pubic hair stuck to it.... noments on that.
- very clinical looking and very out dated - pubic hairs within the bath - rust and mould within the bathrooms - extremely hard ufortable beds - view onto a large full skip- Dirty towels - 4 parking spaces out front, even though free of cost street parking its extremely hard toe by. Had to park way down the street and round the corner to park which isn t great when travelling with a disabled family member. It may be cheap but I have stayed in cheap hotels before which have had standards, this is not one of them. The only positive is its location to the coast.
THe was rude employees need to improvemunication skill.t good or helpfull
Bed was very ufortable. The bedside lights within the living space did not work as the plugs were not plugged in. This was due to the fact there wasn t any sockets.
the living space was very hot with no way of turning down the heating, the bed was very hard and ufortable and the shower was close to useless these three aspects should always be right regardless of price.
Entered the living space to find dirty glasses in room, employees wasn’t too enthusiastic looked like they didn’t want to be there, wasn’t very helpful or weing
Rooms, poor attitude of employees when we ourselves and other family members had to move to different rooms because of various problems with the three rooms i had booked for the six of us .
Hotel very dirty and mouldy, Staff not helpful location is not what it says stuck in middle of. ResidentialArea not walking distance had to get taxi to go down to town
1. parking. Off road parking available which are much fewer than the rooms they have allotted and it was a nightmare.2. Loud music and bingo within the reception area well into midnight daily!!3. Rude living space cleaner who curtly told us to vacate by 9am even though check out time was 10am!!!4. Room heating was full on with no controls. Easter weekend weather was hot and loud music downstairs stopped us from opening the windows
Some of the stairways were poorly decorated and stair carpets threadbare in places. Room furniture was basic in quality but functional. Price for aodation is not expensive therefore was n
