👍 James the host was most helpful. He was contactable throughout. The property was clean and cosy. The little extras were much appreciated, milk within the fridge on arrival and cereal, biscuits and the sweets and games went down a treat with the kids. Had a nice christmassy feel as James had put a few decorations up which was a lovely touch. The property is around a ten minutes walk from waverley station. I would definitely stay here again Everything around the apartment is carefully thought and arranged for thefort of the visitor. Excellent choice. Host is very hospitable and professional. This is afortable apartment a short walk to Edinburgh city centre, the owner is very attentive and there is an excellent attention to detail. Rmended! James is the greatest host I never got to meet because we arrived super late, but he sent very detailed emails that made us feel right at home from the start on! This hip little apartment was just perfect. There s a pub on corner, tex-mex around the corner and a Starbucks across from the pub! So eating was a breeze! Plus James had a little starter morning meal for us : Super easy to walk to city main center or hop on a bus which was barely a minute walk from the apartment. Great for a few friends or small family. Flat is clean and well furnished for 4 people : beds and linens are just awesome! 10 min walk from old town, supermarket across the street and nice pub within the corner of the street . James is full of small attentions even if we didn t met him . We lle back to this place if we have the chance to visit again Edinbourg. 56rth was very close by and it is a very good bar restaurant. The security of this amodation is a real concern. Very clean and tidy. James the owner is very helpful and ensures that everything is done to make your stayfortable. Location is great for the main attractions within the old town. Great that essential food and drink is available on arrival. 👎thing The location was misleading. The photos on booking. do not give a true reflection. The actual front door is opposite a bin. All Ok really - shame there is no washing machine but we knew this before booking Very small living for more than 3 people. Although nicely furnished it was ufortable if staying in for the night. The bunk bed within the second bed living space is not suitable for adults thing. Bit expensive.. maybe due to Easter weekend thing Entrance to apartment is a little unkempt .

👍 Great place, good location to the village and to our family, amodation was great for what we needed, the washer and dryer was an added bonus, we were very happy with our stay and would use this again when visiting family, we didn t get to meet Leo but thanks for everything. Happy New Year. The upstairs living space Was great for us, and the fold out futon mattress especially useful for the kids. Easy layout of the house, and everything supplied, including soap and kitchen towel! Kitchen was great Gorgeous cottage. Lovely location. Friendly hosts. The house is in a lovely little cul-de-sac which was nice and quiet, yet just a stones throw from the abbey and the city centre, so we could walk everywhere. The city has everything you could need and is also well positioned for lots of other local places of interest. We also had no problem parking right by the house. The bedrooms are both a good size and have good beds. It is very central and quiet. The beds werefortable. Lovely hot water. It was clean andfortable and well equipped. So much easier than staying in a hotel with a 14 month old. Plenty of space. Two good sized bedrooms. A Bath. Lots of stairs not a problem for us but might be for elderly. Owner was very helpful when we had questions before our arrival. clean,fortable, good location. Felt like my nans home brought back memories. Everything was lovely. Enjoyed sitting within the courtyard on a evening. Well defiantly go back.

👎 Parking is firste first served but no surprise most of Sherborne is the same way. Vehicle parking is the only real challenge, and a microwave oven would have been very useful. Curtains did not block out any light which meant we were woken up at 5am. A fan would have been useful as it is a heat wave. The bathroom needs some work. The bath surface is peeling off and there was no non-slip bathmat. The shower curtain needs to be renewed and the rail sorted and the towel rail needs mending. The towels and tea-towels also need to be renewed. Outside could have been better.. not very inviting. Felt like the owner had just popped out, was a lot of half empty condiments left within the kitchen. The kitchen wasn t very well lit. Difficult to park car nearby. Really difficult parking near the property. Needed to drive into cul de sac and unload before taking car to park elsewhere. With two couples travelling from different parts of the country we had 2 cars, luckily we arrived at different times so with a little bit of organisation managed the logistics. Dirty parking isn t as advertised Was unable to park on occasions and no toddler gate on stairs

A well decorated, spacious semi-detached cottage in a quiet no through road. Around the corner from beautiful Sherborne Abbey, close to train stop and city centre great market on SaturdaysI m a carpenter and my partner is a yoga instructor, so do book a session on your visit if that s your thing!A historic town, close enough to the stunning jurassic coast for a day visit, also accessible for Bath and a good stopping point on the way to Devon and Cornwall, Sherborne has plenty of great shops and is a gem of a little city with lots to do and see.

👍 The location was perfect, the scenery from the garden were stunning, Cheryl was nothing but helpful and friendly and there were lots of nice touches, extreamly lots of tea and coffee within the kitchen. We couldn t have asked for more. The property is beautifully laid out and the location is great for what beauty the area has to offer. As a country girl myself who now lives in a town, I love to stay in a farm cottage when away for weekend breaks. The cottage is very homely andfortable and the owner really has provided everything. The open fire was a real treat. We had 3 generations of family staying and all our needs were met. Loved the peace and quiet of this beautiful cottage. Great as a base for exploring from - we visited Perth, Dundee, Glenshee area, East Neuk area, eastern coast between Arbroath and Stonehaven... all 2Five-60ish mins drive away. Cottage well kitted out so we were able to self cater when we wanted to. Veryfy home to stay in. The owner is amazing! She was there to assist immediately when we needed it, even though it was very late. Wee and special presentation of the whole cottage and grounds ;a lot of effort put in by Cheryl. The high quality touches the lounge couches and dining area,the bedroom and towels in fact everything about the cottage was great with beautiful scenery of the surrounding countryside. The cottage was lovely and the scenery were great. Cheryl went above and beyond with her assistance. On being unable to get the TV working she attended with a replacement TV about 15 minutes later. Excellent service and I would not hesitate to rmend! Fantastic cottage, the host was very helpful, great location and everything you need. Also, we loved the finishing touches of the towel swans, chocolates and wine left within the fridge. We would definitely stay again. House was spotless,fy, peaceful. All equipment etc we required. Was lovely Peaceful setting, roomy andfortable, well-equipped, with thoughtful touches such as the swan towels. Excellentmunication throughout from Cheryl, who popped round to make sure everything was fine. Good rmendations for eating out and walks. We had a lovely relaxing four-night stay. The area has lots to offer within the way of walks, golf and open water swimming Clunie loch with its island and ruined castle. Loved the view from the back door, and the sheltered sitting out area. More space than we were expecting, nice big living space for a cottage. Everything was as expected and owner very friendly and helpful. The amodation was excellent, well stocked equipment and clean. The location is centrally located within the Sidkaw Hills area, exactly what we were looking for. Cheryl the owner kept in touch and was very helpful and knowledgable about the area. Liked everything’ about this property from the towels fashioned into swans and the log fire. Cheryl the owner was super friendly too as she missed us when dropping keys off but popped in to ensure all was well and give some handy hints and tips The bathroom Everything was perfect! 👎 With 3 of us using the wireless it was a bit slow at times, but in all honestly we didn te to the beautiful countryside to sit on our phones, so it didn t bother us all that much. bathroom mirror and wee pack with local info would be helpful extreamly local walks, wireless code, heating instructions - hadn t realised there was an Echo thingy until half way through the stay. I suspect Cheryl normally goes through these things but we weren t able to meet up, however, she was at end of the phone if we needed her. Room darkening blinds needed in master bedroom thing thing that I didn t like however would have been nice with a little wee pack. What facilities, TV channels. Where heating was etc. Maybe local takeaway. Closest shop etc. thing at all. thing Perfect for us so wouldn’t change anything N A The roads into the property The cottage was difficult to find without Satnav but once there it was lovely. Everything was perfect dirt track to get to it

👍 The apartment was clean and tidy, entrance was easy to get into the property With self check in. Would definitely be booking again if I was to stay in sterling. Everything you needed was inside apartment and the city is right by you. Surrounding area is great for food and shopping. The kitchen andmunal area were gorgeous, and a few essentials were left for us within the kitchen which was lovely. Everything about the property was a delight. Comfortable, warm, decor that made you feel relaxed. Great city scenery from all windows. The goodies left for us were hugely appreciated. And the beds really were cosy. Beautiful hosting property right at the best location near the castle and near the centre . Well appointed apartment decorated very well. Stayed over Hogmanay which also happened to be my birthday lovely hosting package vey thoughtful. Thank you so much Val. Stirling is a beautiful city and if I was to visit again I wouldn t hesitate to book this property again. This property was excellent like being at home. The extra bits and bobs on arrival were a really nice touch. It was a great base central to Stirling sites. Beautiful apartment right within the centre of Stirling which has all the facilities you need for your stay there. Veryfortable and the bedrooms are all a great size. 👎 Parking within the area is difficult, but on the plus side NCP car park is only £2.50 per night to stay. Which made me happy as we stayed over bank holiday weekend and expected to pay alot more. Was 5 mins walk from apartment but really easy to find. The lack of wardrobe space to put clothes in one of the bedrooms. Also, on the last morning no one could shower due to a lack of hot water. However, this would not stop us from returning, and this will now always be the apartment we stayed in when my partner asked me to marry him! Plenty of stairs so not suitable for elderly or disabled but this is to be expected in such a beautiful and old property. Bit noisy within the evenings due to the close location of several pubs Was a wee bit noisy at night but it was the Easter holidays with lots of students obviously enjoying their time off!Given the location of the apartment it was to be expected and thankfully didn’t go on all night. Wouldn’t put me off staying again. Unfortunately due to the location no designated parking space but isn t the owners fault, its manageable as parking is free of cost after 5:30pm A little noisy on the Friday night from the bars but fine on the Saturday and Sunday. A second toilet on the ground floor would be good. nothing to fault at all. A bit noisy on Weekends. Lots of stairs- not ideal for elderly or handicapped

👎 The house was not clean at all. Litters and dust behind the headboard and carpet needs washing. The mattress caused me back pain through out my stay. It ispletely worn out. The bedding is poor quality, you can’t tell whether it’s clean or not. Real beds only for two persons, our daughter slept on a foldaway bed. Far away from the railwaystation. General appearance very bad: stinks, dirty walls, stained carpet, moldy cushion. Worst of all, the mattress has broken springs, it makes a hole within the center. I could hardly sleep. Fullcarpetfloor was very dirty. Weird smell in apartment. We try to use laundrymachine but when we opened the door, very bad smell came inside the machine and there was also some old towel in a machine . Towels and linen smells bad. i think that they haven t washed them. Very dirty apartment . There was also some black spots at the showers wall. I don t rmendt families toe here. t clear place
