👍 I had a recently renovated living space with an excellent king bed. Good shuttle bus to the airport. Very convenient. Hotel is great for a night stay over or when you will visit Oahu island with a car.
Staff friendly and helpful. Availability of a small comfort store on site. Free shuttle service on the half hour. Nearness to the airport. Restaurant was serviceable, Room was well appointed and comfortable
All receptionists and shuttle bus drivers picked me up at the airport or airdrome at 3 am were very guest oriented same as my last visit. A smile and a positive attitude go a long way in impressing guests.
Rooms were clean. Pool area nice extreamly the towels
Close to the airportEasy to check in Shuttle bus to from airport or airdrome to hotel Clean facilities Helpful employees Free wireless
Loved the air shuttle service drivers. Cheerful lot. Mahalo!
Great location very close to the airport. I needed to stay there rather than Waikiki to catch an early flight. % minutes or less to the terminal. Rooms were better than I expected and same with the overall facility.
When we called the front work area about the first living space we had they came up with in 5 minutes to move us to another room. The young men who carry your luggage and drive the shuttle were fantastic they were so helpful and courteous.
Excellent quality and comfort. Staff all very friendly and shuttle bus is a great bonus. Great value delivering a high quality service. I have used other airport or airdrome hotels but this will be my choice. Highly recommended.
Location and shuttle
The customer service was excellent - the employees were very friendly and happy to help. The 12pm checkout was also an added bonus as we really needed that!
Bed was comfy, bathroom spacious. We enjoyed the pool and having dinner within the hotel.
Friendly and helpful front desk, changed our living space to a living space with 2 double beds as I was with my son. Room was clean and store conveniently located as we arrived within the night. Quite impressed with the security of using the cards for the living space door, entrance doors and elevators.
the living space was comfy and clean, there was a lot of noise coming from the all night busy highway so close to the hotel
We enjoyed our stay although it was only for one night we were satisfied it was a much needed staycation and I’m glad we were able to enjoy our time! Hotel employees is very patient and very friendly :
Location, AC, Amenities refrigerator, microwave and coffee
Perfect airport or airdrome hotel. Super friendly staff, great airport or airdrome shuttle, charming garden, pool, and grounds. Bed wasn’t amazing but wasn’t terrible either. All in all a great airport or airdrome hotel. Highly recommend!
Every employee we met was very friendly and helpful. Their people are their best asset. The shuttle was prompt and convenient.
Great location for short visits, airport or airdrome and Pearl Harbor. Property is super clean, quiet and convenient. Great food options 10 min away by foot. Don’t miss Joe’s Express Grill.
Clean and comfortable room. Good service with courtesy van to airport.
The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. There was a little open all hours shop which was helpful. Staff were able to accommodate my husband s need for a quieter living space than the one originally allocated. Proximity to the airport or airdrome was excellent and the free of cost shuttle service was very flexible and prompt. Wifi was good.
thing other than
👎 morning meal within the hotel, however you can buy wonderful sandwiches within the shop, or, if you wish free of cost transport to the sister hotel plaza.
morning meal facility at that location would have been nice.
It seems like a minor point, but it made an impression on me. I went to the reception area for cappuccino just before 10 am. I first went to the receptionist to indicate I would be staying past noon. When I went to the coffee machine, the employee told me and two other guests that coffee ended at 10 am. I don t mean to be flippant, but it seemed like wiping the counter high was more important than making an exception to three guests.
Limited restaurant hours. Long wait at the airport or airdrome for the shuttle had to call twice. Coffee area is nice but no breakfast
Nil water provided in hotel room
The elevator on upper floors dont show which floor the elevators are travelling at. Hard to judge waiting time extreamly when in a rush.
It is next to a freeway. The pool area gets a lot of traffic noise. I asked for a living space overlooking the parking lot away from the freeway with really helped with the traffic noise. They don t serve morning meal but there is a shop that sells snacks which help.
Parking why charge me $30 and only have 4 handicap stalls and parking is limited. I had to drop my husband off by the side door and then go look for parking because the handicap stalls were all full which isn’t hard if you only have 4. I should be reimbursed for the parking.
The first living space we had smell like urine.
Windows needed to be double glazed as we could hear the traffic on the freeway which is located right next to the hotel all night.
The alarm clock hadn t been reset from the last customer - it went off twice very early morning and woke us all up. I would expect housekeeping to reset these between customers.
Air conditioner was quite loud and an old system. Option of thinner pillows would be ideal for those with neck problems.
thing that I can think of at the moment and our stay was short. Hoping to come back there one day to enjoy it more :-.t really related to the hotel but the phones at the airport, some were not working, to use to contact the hotel.
We had to be at the airport or airdrome at 6 am, asked for a wake up call, did not receive any within the morning, so we were lucky to be able to wake up by ourselves, otherwise would have missed our flight !
Hard to find the shuttle. Can’t walk to it from the terminal. They lost our reservation and eventually found it in my daughters name. food at all after 9pm and no breakfast. Just appalling for an airport or airdrome hotel that’s supposed to be 24x7!
They pulled everyone out of their hotel rooms at midnight because of a fire alarm. It’s out of their control but there was no communication or instruction from staff.
After check in our key cards didn’t work on the elevator went back to re program them they worked but when we got to our living space it didn’t work so we ended up having to go back down to the front desk.
I won’t be staying hear again Price booked via booking was $5 less then what I paid I was no informed of any additional charges Good location Rooms over priced Building under renovation
Price was ridiculous, but I was desperate for a room.t kamaaina friendly, employees not friendly, parking ticket didn’t work.
They don t have coffee available within the lobby. Really. This is Hawaii where they grow gr
Providing a free of cost of cost 2For-hour transfer service to Honolulu International Airport and only a short drive from Waikiki city centre, Airport Honolulu Hotel propose comfortable accommodations furnished with present days amenities, including microwaves and...
👍 Close to the ala Moana shopping centre. Nice hotel with all the essentials. Clean rooms and nice staff.
I loved the tower rooms that had the partial ocean view, it was really nice to be on the upper floor - I was on 19. I also liked the fact that you had to use your hotel key for the elevators. I checked in after midnight and Erwin at the front work area was so polite, considerate and understanding - very friendly and informative.
It s in a decent location but not very close to Waikiki. However it had a nice pool area, view and exercise room. It s also in a central location if you have a car and preference for shopping - the Ala Moana mall is right next door.
The location was good for the Ala Moana center.
Convinience to mall
Overall the Ala Moana lived up to my expectation. The amenities within the living space and the friendly employees was a plus.
Staff and comfort to restaurants, mall and coast.
THE STAFF AND CHRIS MANAGER AND YOU LOVELY LADY WHO HELPED HIM and ME WAS MOST HELPFUL WHEN YOUR 3RD PARTY BOOKING COMPANY SCREWED UP ALLYOU STAFF NEED A BIG PAT ON THE BACK.
the restaurant was a little disappointed, the food was good, our waitress was slow, not utilizing her time, I overheard the hostess say need to clean up the tables I could hear her mumbling under her breath, and ignore the tables, took her long to bring any beverages from the back, apparently there s a back living space too that she took care, she was forgetful, the receptionist had to work double work, sit the guest, check tables that was free, help clean tables, and there was this could be a manager not much help picked and choose what she wanted to do. OMG must have had a basketball tournament line so long.
Parking is amongst the cheapest in Hawaii. Comfy living space with nice little lanai with a lovely ocean view we were lucky! Fridge, microwave, and safe.
The hotel is perfectly located right next to Ala Moana Shopping Centre where we went for lots of meals. The hotel is not near the area of Waikiki with all the noise and busyness, it is a in an excellent position.
Check in employees non helpful. I had to ask details of wi fi outside of living space before any information was forthcoming. This should have been advised at check in. Details that Xmas parade were not shared with guests prior to event - Had to find out after the fact this had happened.
Great position. Within walking distance to the coastes and right next to the shopping centre. Lots of food choices available.
I like the hotel location very convenient. Too close to Mall.
The location to the Ala Moana shopping centre. It is right next door so very handy as we only had a stop over in Hawaii for one night and it was easy to spend the day at the Mall.
I had no idea about best places to stay when I booked so I just guessed and I wasn t disappointed. Had a living space with partial ocean view in Kona Tower and some of the sunsets over the water from my window were stunning. We walked to Waikiki from the hotel on our second day which was quite a hike so if you want to be close to that area it probably isn t for you. However it is far, far quieter and not as many people which we liked a lot. It features alovely pool area with the fitness center next door. The biggest plus for us was the Ala Moana shopping centre next door which we ate at very often in their food court. The employees at the hotel were all very helpful and happy. The tour desk has lots to offer everyone. Three little
👎 Only really gave you a sheet and a thin blanket on your bed. went to ask for another blanket but had run out
Okay, Plantation Cafe could use Two-3 people to check in and seat people. There was only 1 person doing this and both days I ate there I had to wait 20 minutes yes I timed it before I was seated. There was another lady there but she was primarily sitting and looking at her computer whereas she could have been a team player and help out. Even the banquet manager could have pitched in and help. Regarding the food, the juice beverages were not filled consistently I mean that s 2 big containers and it was always nearly empty. Come on folks, it s bad enough you watered down the juice, at least keep it filled up till 10:00am when the buffet closed down. You can tell who the hardworking employees were - they were the ones who made sure the customer was taken care of. The first day I was seated within the back area and only my table was the cleared one. The rest were full of dirty dishes - 30 minutes later the attendant for that section decided to bus the tables. I had to also wait Five-10 minutes before I received my cutlery even after getting my meal, sitting there waiting to eat, my food getting cold because the attendant did not think to put any on my table but remembered to pick up the ticket. Needless to say both days I dd not give a tip. Food could also be replenished, most things ran out by 9:30am and those of us who came later ate pastries or toast.
To get to Waikiki it will take a long walk or paying for an Uber. It s also in a sort of sketchy area - lots of strip clubs and massage parlors close by. The rooms are smaller than they look as advertised and don t look like they ve been renovated from I stayed here in 2006. It would also be nice if they offered free of cost continental breakfast.
The price did not represent good value for money. I expected much more for my money. For $280 for one night, expected a lot more. The decor of the hotel is very 1990. The service from some employees was disappointing.
Request for house keeping is so late. Info of Hotel amenity is not there within the living space so could not find pool, any other is challenging.
The price of the living space was abit expensive considering the difference in value of the USD to AUD. Otherwise that was the only issue.
I hated that parking was not included in our stay. There was additional cost of $20 per day for parking.
COMPARED TO THE MAINLAND, IT WAS VERY EXPENCIVE.
someone needs to observe the operation of the restaurant to make it more efficient extreamly when it s busy one area had too many people working in that station, my area I think was just that one waitress. had to wait for our ticket, when the other stop guest had there s already,
More sugar and creamer within the living space for our morning coffee tea would have been nice, but there is a Starbucks within the lobby, which is convenient for those of us who need caffeine to function.
Poor customer service
The balcony we thought we were getting was non existent.
Air conditioning not good. Staff poor communication Samantha I said to her give wake up call to my partner. But she did not do it.
Rest living space was broken, no flushing. and front work area was not kind. Never said thank you and always enjoying talking with colleagues. no attention to customer. and no living space cleaning was done so that I needed to ask new towels. Mountain view

👍 Good pool with loungers. Bicycles available for free of cost for 2 hours. Good location.
the rooms were big and clean. Very safe. road noise abit noisey but okay. Front office employees could improve. Good location, clean and safe, value for money
I like the facility. It’s clean, fresh and more spacey.
Location was good. Central to everything.
One-bedroom apartment-a lot of space. Comfy beds. Good and quiet location.
Front desk manager Isabel was absolutely the great staff. She’s courteous, attentive, recognized me, knew my name, and acknowledged me daily when I saw her on the way out or back to the hotel for night! She honestly made my stay so much more pleasant and helped us extend our stay twice 💗
I couldn t find good things for this property. Only good thing is transportation, bus stop is in front of the hotel. the hotel is far from the coast.
We loved the employees at this hotel, very nice and very accommodating. The fridge in our first living space was a little loud I am a light sleeper and they had no problem moving us to a new living space so we could have a better sleep : Location is great close to coast, all restaurants and city bus stop. We loved the pool and the free of cost bike rentals! We will definitely stay here again!
Basic but clean and the price was good. Staff very friendly, coffee and tea right by the front door.
Good location. Clean room. Friendly staff. Ability to pick up bicycle.
The people who write negative reviews about this place are nuts. My living space may have had one or two dings you could call defered support but everything was so clean it all could have been new. The living space was painted in lovely shades of pale green. Brand new mini frig and microwave... an electric hot pot. Comfy bed. Huge tv. What do you want in a living space in Waikiki Hawaii that starts at under a hundred bucks?
Available filtered water, collapsible water bottle provided, helpful staff, spacious room.
Convenient store and cafe just outside the hotel! Bus stops so close by! Pool was good to just chill by during the day. About 5 mins walking distance to the main streets! But far enough to feel the peaceful atmosphere.
Public transportation from Detroit by everybody was friendly
Everything was awesome and pool was nice
Having a concierge on desk all times. it was convenient to shop[s and restaurants and coastNIce Pool area and nice atmosphere all round
Bathroom was clean. Beds were acceptable
Pool. That s it. Location📍
Location was good and nice ocean view and mountain view from the room.
Pool clean employees friendly
Location that is walking distance to Waikiki coast area, reasonable price, WiFi, large living space with kitchen, most of the tour providers would pick you up directly from the hotel. The living space was very clean including kitchen and bathroom. The hotel is located within the corner of Waikiki, where cheaper options for restaurants compared to the prime area in Waikiki are also around.
Fantastic views, good location. Great staff, parking availability.
Air conditioner helped it to be cool. location was good, there is bus stop nearby. it only takes 30 seconds. you can cook and eat your own food. there are microwave and stoves, and fridge.
Location okay, and easy walk to coast and shopping. Beds lovely and comfortable. Very lovely lady on desk to organize tours *****
The friendly n helpful st
👎 Room was dark and a little depressing. Balcony but no furniture. coffee or tea provided. Had to ask for a coffee maker. Room was looking tired and dated.
front office employees could improve in their customer service and approach to guests. The Amenities fee is a joke
I was offended of the way we’ve had been treated. Upon arriving, the employees who was assisting us, made us feel like we don’t deserve to be there. I was trying my best not to bothered but it’s so discomforting. The next day, my sister and her boyfriend came by to drop of some stuff for me, they parked within the 15 minutes parking, and next thing, one of the employees came out and told them to move their car even though, they told her that they only have to drop of not stay. Please have your employees learn to show Aloha to everyone no matter where they come from. I was gonna recommend your hotel to my friends for our upcoming reunion, but the way we treated from the employees scared me. I apologize for being straight forward, but I’m just a concern citizen.
The kitchen didn t have utensils. Was charged for things i didn t use. Free morning meal was cooked in a microwave.
The wind made quite loud sound within the apartment, and somehow it seamed to always be very windy up around the balcony on the 9th floor and not downstairs...
The first living space was on the 2nd floor facing Holiday inn express. It was noisy with lots of loading trucks and the other 2 previous employees didn’t assist in changing our room. However Isabel saves our day and we extended our stay twice due to the great living space and service Isabel gives 💗
I never seen this kind of morning meal served within the world. they gave us coupon change morning meal box. Only rice covered with egg scramble and 3 small slices bakon and one drink. I ask them I will pay some more, can I change another menu?they said no!! this is fixed by hotel. I traveled many places, many cities and countries, but this is worst case ever I met. I do not recommend to the other travelers. Please do not choose this hotel. They do not know what is tourism industry. They just said check out 11 a. m and check out 3p. m. so lobby was full of customers 10a. m to 3:00 p. m.. they just sitting and killing time to check in. some flights come 10. a. m. and they should wait until 3 p. m. If they found empty room, they can give it first. but they keep their own regulations. there are no exception. no smile. no kindness. These are their symbol. I paid US$140 per night. but this is US$70 is enough.
The appalling deception played by you? or the Ambassador hotel in not alerting me to the true cost of the stay beforehand relying on the very small print to justify extra costs, taxes etc etc. The whole place was an absolute rip-off . On the good side the employees were friendly and helpful but toed the party line when confronted with costs. I will never stay there again or recommend anyone else to do so.
Could use a bit of repair work and painting in living space 1108
The living space was extremely warn and the pictures on the website were not accurate. Where to begin. Every surface was filthy. The living space carpet was fairly new. Just here to sleep. Disappointed!
The morning meal is a joke. I don t know who has got the idea to eat the very same morning meal each day. There is no chance to change it to anything else. That bento box is an insult. It s a pity because if this thing would change it could be a way better hotel.
I fault booking. com for not alerting me ab

👍 Delightful stay in Waikiki. Apartment had everything we needed and having the kitchen was a big plus. Bed was comfortable and apartment very clean. Air conditioning was very quiet and kept us very cool after a long days at the coast.
Location and view of street.
Easy walk to Ala Moana shopping Centre, close to the lagoon and coast - the apartment features alot of little extras you don t get with a hotel room, is very comfortable and loved the air-conditioning after spending a day out within the heat - it also has great scenery of the city, extreamly at night! Fabio was great to deal with, responding quickly to any queries. Thanks Fabio!
Host was very good at communication with us and provided full and clear information regarding our stay. The apartment was well appointed and supplied and in a good location.
Very helpful and considerate employees ... a wonderful stay
The location for coast, lagoon, shops and restaurants was perfect. The apartment had all the amenities that you don t get from staying in a hotel room.
Great location, very central, just an all-round great place.
It was sooo amazing room! Clean, nice view, location, everything that living space has!!Really really comfortable so i spend awesome time!Thank you for everything! next time i will choose again!
We liked the great assistance from Fabio re entry time to condo; we loved the cleanliness of the unit and the little extras to get us started .. tea, bathroom essentials, we loved that it was so quiet
Loved the available extras within the kitchen and bathroom closet. Also enjoyed the available coast chairs. Boogie boards were also there for use!
Great location easy to have number pad access very comfortable
Very easy check in procedure which we liked. key just a code so we were able to go straight up to the apartment with no faff. Bed was comfortable and apartment was clean. Pretty basic apartment, nothing fancy. There is a screen which pulls across to seperate the bedroom from the rest of the apartment if required. As there were 3 of us, we used the sofa bed which was your average pull out bed, ok for a few nights. This apartment looks out over the city, there is no sea view but location of the hotel is good with the coast one side and lots of places to eat on the other side. Traffic was noisy when sat on the balcony once the doors are closed we found it very quiet. We liked the fact that the apartment was at the end of floor which meant there was no noise from other guests residents walking past. We slept well as it was very quiet at night. When we couldn t locate the sofa bedding it was actually just us being stupid and not realising that the sheets had already been put on and the bed folded away! the owner called straight away to make sure we had found everything which was good. Everyone seems to know the illikai and it s a common pick up drop off point for many activities which we found to be useful. We didn t really use the hotel facilities so can t comment but did use the little shop which had useful items.
Great place to stay! Very family friendly and safe. We stayed here the last two nights of a two week Hawaii vacation and our kids like this place the best--they made new friends at the pool. Large courtyard with marina and fireworks view. Family friendly restaurant within the lobby and more places to eat just outside. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Checkin was simple and we all liked the key
👎 The building doesn’t have a gym.
Was so disappointed to celebrate our 50th in this place and travelled from Australia. The disgusting intoxicating smell of mold through the whole unit. The air con was green with mold and also the bathroom vent. Came into a hot living space and could only use the fan. Which only circulated the smell. Spent very little time within the appartment and when we did it was on the balcony. It was a huge health issue. Cleaning issues with pots, some dishes and cutlery. Some we couldnt use. Was so upset as this holiday was a very special. occasion.
I was a little nervous about not having a check in desk but the employees where so helpful and wonderful and having a entry code to the unit was actually much better that waiting for your turn in line and till a 2 pm to check in after a long flight we just turned up, punched within the code and in we went 10 10
instructions on ow to use microwave they are all different or how to use coffee filter. Very disappointed to hear there is no housekeeping even for a two week stay. The apartment was expensive.
This apartments balcony overlooks a very busy, noisy eight lane road, which could also be heard from inside the apartment. The beds were not very comfortable. Also for a building this size the pool should be bigger with more sunbeds and the one bar should stay open past 9pm.,
t a big minus as I was a ware beforehand but It is not an hotel so cleaning is not included. There is plenty of linen no problem at but be aware. Place is very clean!
Would have been good to know in advance what the view would be of. It is of city, you can t see the sunset or coast at all, but I didn t realise that until I got there.
I was perfectly satisfied with our stay.
Would have liked coast towels Thought from the photos we would be overlooking the marina and lagoon
We requested to check out 1 hour later. Unfortunately the cleaning lady came at 11:03 and disagreed, she is extremely unfriendly and aggressive, this was a sad ending to a nice stay. Other remarks: lots of drugs usage within the building. Seen several police interventions during our 2 nights stay. Including a gang of young people fighting within the lobby.
Be aware when booking unit it is not part of hotel therefor there is no communication with staff. Be sure to advise if arriving earlier than book in time so you can access your room. Would be nice if coffee milk was supplied, at least for first day as it is not something you think to pick up on way from airport. Pull out bed very uncomfortable. Main bed had extremely hot topper on it. One of the bed sheets had a large hole in it!Noise from roads below very loud 24 7
Parking costs cash because there s no parking lot when your property is literally ON the coast. Other than that...thing.thing could have been better.
Bed was way too soft, prefer much firmer as I suffer with back problems.
It didn’t face the ocean
The Tvwas hard to get other stations on it would only go to a few was frustrating
air conditioner in elevators.
Waiting until 3:00pm to have access to the apartment.
Restaurant meals quite average in presentation and quality. Desk employees not that welcoming.
Bed was terrible Instructions to clean up weren t clear
The noise at the front of the road
Washing machine soap was

444 Kanekapolei Street, Waikiki, Honolulu, HI 96815, USA
👍 The location was very good close to all Waikiki hot spots
It is a nice hotel located at an excellent location. 1 block away from the bus stop where you may go anywhere. Walking distant to all restaurant choices.
Didn t use parking. Staff most helpful, especially planning the bus tours and Pearl Harbortours, and the luau. Very helpful lady at desk.
We enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and the living space was clean. The employees was very accommodating and friendly. Great to have a safe when gone. They even held our bags for the day when our plane flew out at night.
I loved how friendly the employees was. We had lost our complimentary morning meal pass and with no difficulties the front office replaced it. Our living space was always clean within the afternoon. It was great.
The hotel is a few minutes walk to Waikiki Beach and all its attractions and is surrounded by supermarkets, quick service restaurants and comfort stores and you can jog along Ala Wai to burn the calories. The hotel has in-house coffee shop, spa and restaurant for dinner never tried the lunch, it is good for value. And we were given free of cost upgrade.
Open air lobby, location, room size, quiet, big balcony, view, clean, staff were friendly. Hawaiian tropic toiletries. Microwave and coffee maker were efficient, coffee was really good, bed was pretty comfortable but sagged on either side, nice to have air and tvs in both rooms
The location of the hotel was close to the main city drag.
Location was good for our purposes Also elevator was quick and available
Location is convenient, but super noisy.
Breakfast was included daily always a . AC was decent, small kitchen area was nice. Pool and surrounding area was good size.
It was quite.
The bed was really comfy
The living space was nice. It had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable. The complimentary morning meal was great!
Comfortable bed. In middle of Waikiki coast so great location. Great scenery of mountains. Staff super friendly and love love loveeee shampoo and lotion they left.
Spacious room! Free video rentals!
The hotel is in a fantastic area. Lots of resturants close by. The coast is a 6 minute walk. Perfect location for not having a rental vehicle
It takes 5min walk to Waikiki coast. It was very convenient place to go shopping, eating, surfing. It was good bath amenity and Hawaiian coffee. We can drink everyday in our room. It has laundry living space within the basement. Quiet location, can relax.
The living space was comfortable and the lady at the front work area I don t know her name it was on Oct.28 at around 8am was so nice to me, answered all my questions and gave us free of cost late check out which made my day hussle free! Thank you so much!
The location is superb with a nice stroll to the coast. The food trucks close to the hotel were a bonus for casual dining and features agreat atmosphere. Was able to check in early at 845am.
The location was the best part.
Location, is fanatastic. I prefer a smaller hotel. Great pool and employees friendly and helpful at all times. I. The microwave and sink and kitchette within the living space was EXCELLANT!
Need a lot of upgrade and improvement. Mostly of staffs attitude..
The location of this hotel was perfect. Beds were very comfy.
Location and facility
Needs an ice machine on each floor... pool could be bigger... sheets should be changed at least each other day... breakfast... not great<
👎 The decor is a bit tired. early check in options we arrived at 6am so waiting until 3pm was a long time.
They charge a fee for coast towels and mediocre breakfast. They stop serving morning meal at 9... too early.
This hotel is older and the rooms should be updated. The hot water did not stay hot. All you could do was turn the cold water on a touch so the hot would stay warm. The sink area was small and the shower had older tile not like the picture. The furnished morning meal was more for Japanese tourists with fruit punch ! and lots of dishes for them. But there was some food for the American tourist but little choices from the menu did not change. There were eggs, ham, Cheerios, Puffs, milk, bread, pancakes, but no orange juice. There was a partial view of the canal not what was shown within the pictures. The Oahu Savings Pass did not exist. We were on the end and heard a lot of wind at night blowing through the windows.
The bed was a little too soft. It sunk within the middle of the bed. The windows didn’t fully close so they’re was a bit of noise from other hotels and passing cars. But it was in a very central location so I guess noise was expected.
bed is too soft, the road to the hotel reaks of urine smell. dated facilities but acceptable
Breakfast, small pool not private, exercise machine wasn t working, room key didn t work very well, had to swipe many times, some employees were not very helpful with local info or tours, super small workspace in kitchenette, could have used small paring knife, fridge should not be in cupboard it gets really warm inside, beds could use updating, couch also sagged
Except for Jayce and the living space service staff, none of the others greeted you with a smile extreamly the concierge staff.
Food at the Buffet was terrible. When we finished our terrible morning meal we were instructed to return to our table to clear and stack our dishes. Water temperature varied from hot to cold in shower. Air conditioner was loud and not very cool.
First they didn’t provide two beds, as per booking. After lot of arguments, they provided an extra bed, which was uncomfortable. Second, the living space had roaches, toilet didn’t flush properly, had to call living space service. Room was too small, but expensive.
Small rooms, not much furniture in it - not even a single chair. Very noisy even when windows are closed. Breakfast terrible - dirty place to eat, crappy choices of food, we had it included and we only went once, there is a coffee machine within the living space but they only put coffee once at the check in and then never refiled. Parking very expensive and not too big - sold out quickly and on the street is practically impossible to park.
Old grungy bathroom, lumpy bed, rooms on backside of hotel could hear daily truck deliveries to the grocery store and trash pick up. On 3 occasions I found insects within the bathtub 1 dead 1 almost dead.
Parking was expensive at 25 day and limited. The water temp within the shower would not hold steady, it would go hot to cold very often during a shower. The painted shower floor was pealing and did not look very sanitary, besides being slippery.
I think we got the worst living space within the whole hotel. The AC was so incredibly loud we couldn’t sleep, too hot to sleep without it. There was a constant drip right outside our window that was mind numbing. Too much outside noise from a rear car park too
Although we always found parking each t

👍 The employees was very friendly. Also, I liked the pool area. The living space was clean and had everything I needed. Late checkout on request. The location was perfect.
We flew in late the night we checked in to Aqua Bamboo and so didn’t have much time. We were already within the thick of things within the middle of Waikiki. A short walking distance to the International market place and just a few blocks from the coast. Aqua has beautiful grounds, and pool w a waterfall and attached Jacuzzi pool. Lots of native plants, flowers and tiki huts to sit under. Also a line of surf boards add to the ambiance. Its an older hotel w lots of charm but its being renovated. Coffee, apples oranges and a loaner library within the lobby. Thursday night manager’s reception activities and beverages. Plus they have parking- the drive down to the garage is a bit steep. And the price is high- but the spots are large AND the area is gated. Warning to those driving jeeps or other tall vehicles- our two door jeep did fit with inches to spare. Its reserved, so good piece of mind if flying in late at night. Our living space did have a lanai that overlooked the street. Good for breakfasts. Jacuzzi was warm- both it and pool were clean. Elevator smelled nice. Nice helpful staff
The hotel is cleaned and is very central. Supermarket and all shops are very close. It is 3 minutes away from the coast. I would really recommend it. The swimming area is very nice with a SPA included.
The service was great, clean room, friendly staff, towel and coast chair service.
The location was great and they made sure to clean the living space everyday
It was close to everything that we needed without being in amongst the constant throng of Waikiki! The employees were friendly and very helpful they had great knowledge of the local area and where the nicest places to eat were located. We celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary and were greeted with a living space upgrade, champagne chocolates and a welcome note. All I had asked for was a bed that wasn’t pushed together! Expectations exceeded! They also use IES shuttles that had the most amazing coordinator called Marie, the best description of her would be a very efficient pocket rocket!
Mcdonalds was close by, and pool was open till 10
This hotel was located in a great place for us because it was only a couple of blocks from the coast, great restaurants, and shopping. In addition it was near a lot of the local hop on hop off Wakiki bus stops. The employees were very pleasant and informative. The pool area was also very quaint and pleasant the only thing missing was a bar within the hotel.
We stayed within the hotel twice over a two week period. It s well located and only a short work to the coast,The employees are friendly and helpful. It s on the main bus route that runs through Waiiki.
We liked the compact size of the place, pool area lovely, kept immaculately clean and tidy and the BBQ was handy for a poolside lunch one day. Room maids very obliging and liked the range of Hawaiian bathroom toiletries placed in our living space each day. Was good to have clean fresh towels available as required for the pool or take to the coast anytime. Aqua bamboo is well located to walk to close by food outlets and the food pantry is only a short walk to get groceries for our breakfasts we cooked in our kitchenette. This resort ticked all the standard average boxes, totally suitable for couples who are content with decent 3 star accomodation in an up-market p
We were thrilled to be off the plane, in Hawaii and home safe in our hotel for the night We missed the Thursday reception by a hr or two. Believe the fancy coffee machine was $1. So we drank what was within the room. Just a warning. Return the towels! Or its $30 replacement fee.
The faucet on the bathroom sink was oversized and water sprayed all over.
Our living space had ants in it and they gave us a new living space right away that was bigger and better.
Staff was rude, living space wasnt clean when we went in and we asked for a new living space due to the unclenlyness and they insisted evey living space was booked already and they couldnt switch. We were promised a living space near the high with a coast view and we got level 5 facing a building. Wifi did not work and employees didnt seem to care and didnt help. Speaker alarm in living space didnt work. AC was loud and made a pool of water on a the dresser. Over all not a good experience and would never book again.
The air con in our living space did not function as well as we would have liked. The water pressure was a little lacking also but that could have been an island issue.
The hotel is starting to show its age and is ready for a refit. The aircon when we stayed the second time did not work very well and we had to sleep with balcony window open. The first time we stayed other guests were complaining about the same thing, so it seems to be a common problem.
kettle in our kitchenette room!! Had to boil water in small pot :-. Very basic kitchen utensils provided. Had to buy our own spatula. Remote didn t match the ty and dvd didn t work... had to get replaced. At the time we were there, the nights were warm, and the air conditioner was quite noisey... couldn t leave on all night! fans above beds which would be our recommendation for a comfort improvement. Also, the road is busy and quite noisey at times, so if you after peace and quiet, this wouldn t be the right choice.
The resort could do such moreThere are no real food and beverage options within the resort at minimum a Breakfast cafe would be great
not enough parking lots. you can park within the parking lots of next hotel as same price. but, you can’t take elevator that is only allowed for the next hotel guests. don’t park upper floors.
Air conditioning a bit noisy
Durty and old
The rooms are a bit small and could do with an update but was clean and comfortable
Swimming pool area could be cleaner. Lack of parking slots. In the neighbourhood you will be charged about 30 USD.
The hotel is very tired and badly needs refurbish. Carpets are dark and badly in need of a shampoo, air conditioner noisy, and our living space was one of the smallest we have ever stayed in. I am 6 2 and was allocated a double bed. My feet were overhanging the bed considerably. The TV was positioned at a 90 degree angle to the bed.
Main balcony very hard to open and the tv played up for the first ten or so minutes but settled to a decent picture you could watch. Maybe the pool could be heated as the ocean is about Seven-10 degrees warmer.
The second lift broke and was not fixed a week later, it made wait times for lifts very long. I also would have liked if there was a bar area within the pool or reception, but that wasn t a deal breaker.
The furniture chipped. Bathroom walls peeling. Tub rusted and painted over, with hair still within the tub.
The airco is terribly loud and the building is really oldschool. I missed a bar at

👍 I liked the location of the property which is close to the main center of Waikiki. The street in front was never busy with cars.Valet service was always fast.
The employees were amazing! Very friendly and went out of their way to assist us
We really liked our stay here. Central location, just a few mins walk from everything pretty mich. Friendly staff, very large rooms, beautiful views. Check-in took a while as there were a couple of companies checking-in and only one receptionist. Liked the open-air lobby and the small garden places and corners all around. Small pool are but cosy. We carried the luggage up ourselves which was fine but offering the luggage service would ve been nice. Room was very big, spacious, a little outdated but had the coast vibe which was nice. King-size bed was very comfortable. Spacious bathroombathtub. There was even a kitchenette. Large terrace overlooking the pool and having some great partial sunset views. Great free of cost WiFi.Breakfast was rather limited, would ve liked some ham&cheese or something savory anyway, but it all worked. Olivia at check-out was amazing, very friendly, informative and attentive. Helped us with the coast towels and luggage storage. Shout out to her! :All in all, a lovely stay!
Excellent location, friendly staff, and clean facilities.
Location is very good, near stores and 10mn to the coast. Rooms are good too.
Location, cleanliness of the room, comfy bed.
Size of the rooms. Close to bus stop and restaurants
Located across from upscale shopping on Luxury Row, Aqua Oasis is 2 minutes’ walk to the Royal Hawaiian Center and 5 minutes walk to Waikiki Beach. Free WiFi is included.

👍 Aloha, You have very very friendly staff. What a great assett Ricky front deskis. He went above and beyond our expectation when assisting us with our return flight boarding passes. Connie our house maid was the sweetest and most efficient person I have ever met. Please pass on our compliments to everyone, extreamly Ricky and Connie... they are a great asset to your company. Thanks for being so friendly. Mahalo
The location is on major bus route. The kitcenette except only two of the four stove elements worked. microwave was inconvient.
This accomodation is in an amazing location - so handy to everything - two blocks away from the coast and some free of cost shuttles to places were an option. also. Lovely chilled lemon water or iced tea in reception available all of the time.
The living space was is poor repair peeling paint, dingy lighting, dirty bathroom, dirty windows and veranda, stained carpet that had not been vacuumed prior to our arrival.. a large hole had been cut within the bathroom door to allow the door to shut as the toilet was too large and blocked the door from swinging. The closet door was broken. I requested a roll away bed, the sag was so bad we put the mattress on the floor only to find the mattress was an old wire spring mattress that had no support.. the cash I paid for this was refunded.. however my son had a terrible night trying to sleep on it.. the living space did have a kitchen that was not expected but no table to eat a meal once it was cooked... housekeeping made one bed and not the other, and still did not vacuum the food off of the floor
Walking distance to the coast, shops, restaurants, etc. Pretty great location overall. Friendly staff, easy check in check out. Availability of parking. Bus stops across the street super easy to reach the hotel from the airport.
Central location, close to everything. Very nice staff. Room features akitchen and a balcony.
Convenient location, but so are dozens other hotels. Luckily was able to relocate to Holiday inn. Only good thing is efficient staff.
There is a guy in front work area is really really nice and give me lots of good recommendations. Let me have lots of fun at my first short trip in Hawaii. I am really like his help. Location is really good. Only one block from Kalākaua Ave.
it was close to major shops close to the coast. There where plenty of places to eat and drink and shop at. Transport was easy to get taxi and uber were easy to arrange i was very satisfied with the location.
Location and price was great Close to coast and shoppingGreat staff
Well situated, easy walk to the coast, on the bus route, employees helpful and friendly
Great location within the heart of Waikiki, wlaking distance to coast, shops and restaurants. Greata value for money. Friendly employees and big living space with fully furnished kitchen.
t an altogether bad location
Location was prime! Walking distance from the coast and all shops. Amazing location but that was the only good thing.
The employees was friendly and helpful.
The hotel is a quick, if uninspiring, five minute walk to the coast via Duke s Lane, but well-located for access to transportation, restaurants, and food shopping options. Every living space features abalcony, and the kitchenette, while tiny, does have a stove oven and fridge.
My Bed was comfortable. Friendliness of the staff. The location was perfect, just about the middle of Waikiki.
👎 It was very unclean. We found spiders crawling in our beds when we were sleeping. Very unhygienic. I would not stay here again. Booked for 2 nights but only stayed for 1 as it was disgusting and does not look like the photos.
Upon arrival there was garbage within the recepitcal and the air conditioner leaked. It was taken care of quickly but it should not have occurred. microwave. The pool time opened to late. I needed it at 6:00 am doesnt open till 8am.
We had absolutely no air con in our living space : There was an option for us to move rooms but no ensure it would be any better. We opted for three fans instead. The bath flooded to the high each time someone had a shower!
Although there is an underground parking available, the lot is pretty tight as everything in Honolulu, so be careful with maneuvering if you have a big car.
Very noisy. Poorly soundproofed, thin walls. Bathrooms need to be refurbished.
Very VERY old facility and NOT maintained. Lousy plumbing- shower hot water gets frigid whenever another living space turns their hot water on!!! Dingy and roadside motel living space feel. Only good thing is friendly staff.
Bedding configuration. Their were 3 adults and 3 children and we were all on 2 queen beds and a single. I wrote several times before we arrived and no one could really answer my request. I wasn’t prepared to pay an extra $15 per night for a foldaway bed. Considering space was limited.
My living space is near the street and too noisy at night.
Booked a king bed and was given two gueenAlso would be nice to upgrade toilet
WiFi doesn’t pick up well in each room. If internet access is important to you, it should be mentioned on booking so that you can be allocated a suitable room.
The pool looked small and not very appelaing, but we did not use it, so this might be irrelevant... we liked staying here.
The air con struggled to cope with the heat. We had it on full blast. It was only the begininng of Summer. The $28 daily amenities charge was a nasty surprise and could only be explained as an amenities charge when questioned. So too for the guy checking out in front of me.
The hotel was just horrible. The hallways to the rooms smelled so bad. I called the front work area which they took literally like 5 minutes to answer maybe even more to ask for more pillows and they didn’t want to give me more than 2 and the lady was very rude about it. After waiting for the pillows they came up to tell me they ran out of pillows within the entire hotel so I didn’t even get any. Such a horrible horrible experience do not book!
There was bugs within the corners. The cable was not working. Building engineers we re in and out of the living space between 9pm and 11pm trying to fix the cable issue in all the rooms ending in 93.
The shower was a real testament to how caulking can t fix everything -- the bathroom does need to be updated very much.
I didn t like that the little restaurant opened at 730. I think it should open earlier maybe 630 or 7. But great deal on breakfast. Needs to get rid of the drabby yellow paint within the rooms, go with grays or browns and add more art. This is only cosmetic
We had an issue with cleanliness for which the employees waived the already expensive amenities fee, and parking was additional and WiFi wasn’t included the WiFi was part of the aforementioned amenities fee. The decor was tired and overall it felt overpriced for w
