Albergaria Insulana - Main photo

Albergaria Insulana

👍 The variety of food at the morning meal buffet was excellent. The facilities and the employees were also very good. Although the hotel is a little distance outside the city this is balanced by it being quiet. Staff, setting, location, location, location. Right within the middle of things. Can t fault that. This hotel is all about location. Its easy to walk to many central attractions and districts. Bed wasfortable. Very quiet considering was so central Good location. Clean Location is perfect, rooms are clean and nice even though they are small. The hotel is very well cituated and the employees is very nice and helpful Quiet place, great location, near to all attractions in Lisbon. I d rmend the hotel to each couple looking for a place within the main center of Lisbon. Excellent 1start hotel. Minature toiletories including razor, toothpaste provided and slippers provided. Coffee machine in lobby. Rooms with balconies and no street noise once balcony door closed. Very central location. Location was good. Did not have morning meal there because the living space looked very uninviting. Good local facilities for morning meal nearby. Shower was good. The location was the best for walking to places of interest with many restaurants close by. The bathroom was lovely, the bedsfy and the Juliet balcony a bonus. Staff friendly and helpful. amazing location. small living space but small price. it was a great stay. Great location, double living space is ok size, little balcony, clean It was only the location that is good about this hotel. Location was within the main center of the popular street of Lisbon. But each part of Lisbon is beautiful so other parts of the city can also be rmended. I liked nothing about this hotel except its location. Location is great. Really great. Hotel is clean and the air con is effective. Location is great! Room clean, bedfy. We picked the hotel as a budget choice for ease of shopping, sightseeing and getting to the metro airport or airdrome on our last day in Lisbon. Good value for us. Location was brilliant, although it meant it was a bit noisey at night it was worth it for having everything in walking distance. The location was fantastic, very central and you could to walk easily to many main attractions. Location is prefect!!!!! Everything is in walking distance. I was traveling alone and felt safe to walk around even at night. Close to all the attractions and Restaurants The living space was small but clean andfortable. Location excellent The location is excellent, very strategic to wander around in Central Lisbon. Restaurants, shops are just there, close to the hotel. Breakfast and bedroom excellent. Staff very friendly and efficient!entrance The employees at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Location is great - centrally located beside many nearby eateries and local attractions. Rooms were cleaned daily and the showering facilities were very good. Good hotel for a short city visit, super location. We stayed just 1 night to see a show at the Tivoli theatre which was a short walk from the hotel. The living space was clean andfortable. Excellent location. close to everything. great location for exploring Lisbon on foot, you can walk climb everywhere from here Nice small hotel on a very good location. The rooms are not to big but that is what you can expect in such a hotel within the heart of the old city.

👎 Breakfast. And my toilet was in a corner behind my shower which ment I did not have much leg living space and I am not tall my any means. If I leaned forward my head would hit the wall it was that close. Room was really tiny. Breakfast was basic continental but ok. Wifi was shocking! We couldnt get online at all within the bedroom or morning meal room. They need to get a couple more boosters as the only place we seemed to get connected was the reception desk! The living space was tiny. We could not pass each other within the living space it was that small. The reception employees especially within the evening were surly. Key to my door didn t work. Staff at the counter had to reset it multiple times before it started working again. The hotel is very noisy being located next to the main street with many restaurants, but also inside the isolation is absent Arrangements regarding taxi etc notmunicated to change of reception staff. Room very small. Bad soundproofing. TV sound was terrible. 3 steps between bedroom area and bathroom, easy to short trip on especially at night, very dangerous. not much cupboard space. Very tiny lift. The older desk clerk was rude. There was no wi-fi within the room! The bedroom was a little tired and could do with freshening up with a lick of paint. employees could be friendlier. female front work area employees memeber was amazing but the rest act as if they don’t care to be there. but for the price you pay it’s perfect Two twin beds to make a double bed, Wifi is really slow, it takes a long time to figure out how to adjust the temperature within the shower Definitely not rmended. The hotel is a One-star hotel where nothing is included. Even soap was not present within the bathroom and I asked specifically for it. minibar, no water, nothing. If you are more than 2 people travelling, then they may have better rooms for you with windows not sure, but if you are a single traveler, you should definitely not stay at this hotel. The single rooms are very very small, even can t walk, and there is no window. It is fully dark during daytime unless you switch on the lights. The rooms are like prison. Very small and fully dark without any window. I asked the reception to have another living space but he was not helpful at all. And he asked me to pay full stay upfront at the check in. Many hairs on the sheets. Never stay at this hotel if you are single ! WiFi is atrocious, TV entertainment is too. Rooms are small but you d expect that in a city centre hotel. We had a hard time getting the temp of the shower right. Room without natural light view as it looked on to another building. Decor dingy, but living space clean. WiFi didn t work well in room. Although the living space had everything we needed it was very small Slightly annoyed by having to pay extra charges for a living space safe. While the employees were helpful when asked a question, they should be more hosting when guests arrive. The waiter was not so nice during our check in. Entrance reception area just inside door very small. However stairs very dirty stains on carpet ! We stayed in a simple, small twin living space with a stuffy smell oldish. Photos online looked a little deceiving bright, colourful and present days in design, however I felt it could do with a little revamp. My initial interaction with the employees was disappointing and mean. I had arrived early within the morning and when I arrived they had some trouble with finding my reserva

Altis Suites

Rua Castilho, 13

👍 The apartment was great. Very spacious. We were upgraded to a one bedroom with living dining and Kitchennet, which worked great. We were able to have morning meal within the room. Location was good. 10min car ride or 2 stops on the metro from the downtown area but that was fine for us. Comfortable beds, pillows and good water pressure. Friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay and would rmend to anyone. The apartments are spacious and luxurious, and very central. You can walk into the city centre within half an hour. The employees are amodating and helpful and the area is very safe. The hotel is close enough to the centre without being within the hustle and bustle of everywhere. Access to the spa was amazing however a little too crowded at times, but we did go when it was raining so perhaps many guests had the same idea to escape the rain. The living space service was amazing and we were very well looked after during our stay. Will only ever stay here when wee to Lisbon! I booked five suites for ourselves and 4 other couples. We were very impressed with the suites, each was furnished with a kitchen area, bath, bedroom and nice size living area. TV’s in both the bedroom and living area. Great restaurant and bar area. Within walking distance of many centrally located sites. Mini-market within 2 blocks. The employees was excellent. We would definitely rmend to others. We would definitely return! Thanks so much The employees was nice Loads of room. Clean. Good location. Kid friendly. Coffee!! Loads of fabulous restaurants near by...unfortunately as our kids go to bed fairy early we didn t manage to make the most of these. Wonderful city!Pool was great. Great location within the heart of city center, huge suite, very clean and weeing living space . one of the most important things for me is Gym, and i have enjoy evry time i visit there . inside the living space has exelent coffie and offiring free of cost minibar drinkks . I ll probably go back there aga!! Good location while the main hotel offered what the suites lacked. The rooms are large and veryfortable. The beeds are convenient. The mini-bar was mostly free. The location of the Hotel is favorable to walk to most of the interesting parts of the sity. It is a dood rentation. Staff were very politelocation Swimming pool Excellent apartment and a great location that is close to central Lisbon. The receptionist on check-in was brilliant informing us of the different areas and giving us directions . Would use this aodation again . Very large rooms, fortable beds including cot for the baby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Access to the hotel facilities next door. Lots of good restaurants nearby, 5 mins walk to the main bus terminal and short walk to city centre. Great apartment. Were provided a bed for our son rather than an ufortable sofa bed. The suite was spacious and could have easily hosted three or four personsfortably. Staff was friendly and the location was perfect! The apartment was spacey and thereforefortable to stay for a few days. The kitchenette was basic, but allowed to prepare a simple dinner. The hotel employees was impeccable, very professional and efficient. location was great. The living space was very large, good morning meal and location. Beds extrafy. Great airconditioning. Use of the adjacent Altis Grand Hotel facilities a big plus. Daily living space service. Full bathroom is great. Close to mini-supermarket. Taxi availability. Only a short walk to Avenida Liberdade. Nice andfortable, friendly and helpful staff, good living space service. Shuttle is very convenient. Ample living space for storage if you plan on staying for a while. Great location to visit Lisbon. Very friendly and helpfull staff. There was a possibility to go swim within the hotel next door. Comfortable apartment. Great location. Nice morning meal and dinner at hotel restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.

👎 Perhaps the spa could be appointment based and a few more options on the menu. We found the living space service menu to be more varied with regards to price and food options. The spa was very busy and perhaps if there was a limit on the number of people allowed to enter at one time we would have been able to use all the facilities. Everything was perfect, thank you It was very over priced, decor was poor and needs updating. Also I ordered from living space service and no one bothered toe to my living space with my order Whilst the sofa bed wasfortable it was squeaky.... everytime we turned over it made the most horrific noise; it probably needs replacing!Would be useful to have the sofa bed able to be used as a sofa during the day. Hard to find unlike things in this hotel, just go there and feel like home . Suites are in need of modernisation.te that the suites, I would assume, are very different from the offering of the associated hotel. While as a resident of the suites you are able to use the hotel facilities, the rooms within the suites are outdated. bedroom - mattress too soft, side table lamp did not work, remote control did not workbathroom - old and not cared for shower gadget late check out until 6pm was 80 Euros too expensiveSPA- water in Jacuzzi - strange odor and propose was too hot and hardly supervised Air conditioning was insufficient. Room was continuously too hot to sleepfortably despite that it was not that warm outside within the night. Kitchenette was poorly furnished for all but the most basic cooking. Could not boil water in some pans as they were not flat underneath, no kettle available. Some noise late at night from the corridors. Compulsory purchase of swim caps for the pool feels unnecessary. Returnplimentary shuttle to airport or airdrome wasn t able to align with iur needs. However, an Uber cab was very easy and cheap €8 Wifi could have been better; an electric kettle instead of nespresso machine would have been wee. The view from the window was at a wall aproximately 5m away, due to what the apartment was very dark even within the middle of the day. Moreover a wall of air conpressors was right there what gave a constant hum. A slight update of facilities would not harm, as the interior gave a late 90 s feeling. Nevertheless, stillfortable. Old apartment, although it is very clean, it appears not clean because everything is old and look like very very used bathroom, furniture. The spa is great and free, BUT you can’t access unless you pay for unnecessarily expensive caps. There is living space service, BUT it is way understaffed and therefore far too slow. Room decor and soft furnishings need updating. Self catering options somewhat limited due to small fridge and limited cookware utensils provided. The decor could use updating, but it is charming in a way and still very clean. There is no slope to ride down your suitcases buggy. The sofa bed for the children was very noisy and not toofortable. Only one TV remote worked and there was no washing up liquid the maid did it for us which was great. Some say the furniture is old - I found it vintage... Any way it is of good quality. The pool policy of the hotel is pathetic. On arrival, we were told that swim cap werepulsory... I have been to many hotels, never happened to me... and of course we were allowed to pay for them. Then, half of the facilities are only accessible for over 18 years, and teenagers below 16 have to leave the pool after 16... leaves a bad taste on an otherwise pleasant stay The location is a bit far from the good stuff in Lisbon. For me it was okay I can walk like 15 to 20 minutes to reach Starbucks or Hard Rock however if you have old people traveling with you they might find this hard There was a unpleasant smell each time on entering the suite which required the opening of windowsNo infor
