American Plaza Motel - Main photo

American Plaza Motel

2031 Dundas Street

👍 We were looking for a pet-friendly living space for an overnight stay while driving through. The American Plaza Motel was conveniently located on a main street with many local businesses nearby. Around the corner was a pleasant residential neighborhood for walking the dog. The employees member son of the manager was very pleasant and helpful, and we had a nice chat. Room was well-equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. The window A C unit was working and kept the living space at afortable temperature. The bed was alright. The bed was a true king size, big andfortable. It wasn t filthy. Rooms have been recently renovated and look quite nice. Furnishings weren t bad -fy and looked good within the room. Pillows were fairlyfy but were obviously the cheapest ones you can get. Rooms have their own thermostats.1 shampoo conditioner worse quality than other hotel shampoos, and 2 mini soaps had a nice scent within the bathroom. thing it was gross. The employees n the housekeeping are pretty respectable n decent.. The beds are very verydortable..t to much noise .. And the outside looks nothingaored to the inside.. thing. Only good thing was the location Location My living space was renovated so it didn’t smell carpets The floors were new and the bed was veryfy. The living space was large. The reception employees were friendly and helpful. First impressions is that the place was a dump. But once you walk into the rooms, you feel like you’re in a very expensive hotel. I mean they were quite nice. The Reno’s they did we’re quite good. the place is nothing but a dump and a fire hazard and nothing but a property that should condemned and will notify the appropriate departments in London Regards Great staff; close to airport. Bed wasfy thing. Except for the wireless The retro look to the hotel and howfortable the beds actually were The main area was clean andfortable thing The Bed Was Comfortable Beds werefortable. Clean. Quiet. Surpassingly cosy. Friendly staff. Some reviews on here are over exaggerated. Overall wonderful experience t much. i like how aodating the employees were The employees is friendly and its family operated. employees was friendly and beds we’refortable. The bed wasfortable. Amenities provided. thing thing That I had a warm body beside to kep me warm The living space was clean but somewhat outdated t well kept. DIRTY nothing Location and ample parking. beds werefy Location Absolutely nothing

👎t that this bothered us, but the living space we stayed in could have benefited from attention by an electrician and a plumber. Other than that, the living space felt clean, bed was VERYfortable and everything worked! Door handle was broke. Room smelt like smoke. Someone kept knocking on the door. They thought someone else was still in this room. There were no extra pillows or blankets. Bring your own if you think you may need them. It was hard to get a hold of someone when needed, and when I finally did get a hold of a worker, it was hard to get a straight answer, or even understand their broken English. Ask for the wireless password when you check in. There was no literature wee info within the living space - the usual nearby restaurants, pamphlets, etc were not within the room. We booked online where it said pets were wee, but when we checked in there was an outdated card system to fill out that said in bold letters NO PETS ... which is it?The living space was clean ENOUGH, but I wouldn t call it clean - the mini fridge was dirty with crumbs etc inside, there was dirt and bugs within the window sill, there were smudges and hair all over, the bathroom mirror was not cleaned in a while. If you are a clean freak, this is not the place for you. Walls were quite thin. We were awoken at 2am by our neighbours listening to screaming horror movies for hours. We had to turn the tv on and up loud to cover up the screaming. It did not feel like a safe area. Pretty sure there were quite a few drug dealings going on and hookers within the neighbouring rooms. There were still renovations going on so there was quite a bit of noise for us. Do not stay in living space 19 or 17. Room 18 is a boiler storage living space and there was a lot of noise and employees going in and out. They definitely don t use any kind of fabric softener; the towels were quite scratchy. late checkout offered - We asked for a late checkout and would be charged for another whole night... not cool. I was woken at 10:30pm to somene banging on the door to give me towels. The washroom was disgusting not clean I showered somewhere else and didn t take off my shoes or sit on the toilet. Really seedy. Most disgusting place I ve ever seen. There were alot of cob webs within the corners n i mean alot through out the entire living space .. And the towels were always stained perhaps dark towels is best I paid cash when we got there, so had to leave an extra 50 bucks and was told I would get it back when we checked out, they gave me back 40 and said we underpaid when we got there, what a joke, the place was full of crack heads and none of the pictures on the website where real, the WiFi sucked and so did the the water pressure within the shower, we would never stay there again 😞. Travelled with 5 adults and 3 kids. We booked 3 rooms. They were all dirty, not even vacuumed. We didn t unpack. There were crumbs, dirt, hair etc within the dresser drawersThe screens were all ripped, you could reach your hand threw from the outside and unlock my door.😠Plus there were MANY bees we couldn t open windows without theming inside. The bathrooms were gross, mold and dirt all around the tubs and tiles. YUK!! I had the QUICKEST shower ever!!I requested fridges and microwaves in all 3 rooms. I received an email saying all rooms have fridge and microwave NOT true. One living space didnt have a microwave. The entire place is so dated, the outside looks like it s falling apart.*new furniture DOES NOT count as renovated rooms as adv

👍 My daughter and I were in London for the weekend, visiting family. We were very happy with the choice we made, staying at the Best Western. All amenities were excellent and the employees was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our morning meal experience was superb, and the lady running the morning meal room, Judy, was fabulous! Thanks for a lovely weekend. We look forward to booking a Best Western again extreamly in London. Cheers,Les Robinson Staff was extremely friendly. Everybody says hi to you. We wanted to change our living space and the first answer was: of course, no problem.....Very good hotel. Excellent breakfast. Very clean, morning meal was all right living space was pretty descent Location great. Breakfast good quality. Friendly staff. pool temperature was good. Lots to eat for breakfast. Friendly, very good shuttle service to airport, leaving car there, cheaper than airport. Missed morning meal as had to leave very early but got a little snack pack. Friendly, effecient, clean andfortable Close to airport or airdrome and liked the shuttle available. Super friendly employees and very helpful. Clean andfortable. I liked the quick morning meal to go for those who had to leave early but please check the food. My muffin was wet and green and I had to throw it out. Fantastic breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely swimming pool. Relaxed atmosphere. Great shower. Comfy beds. Great area close to airport. The service was great, got a free of costplementary living space upgrade. The morning meal was also great. The pool was heated to the right temperature. Bed was veryfortable, the morning meal was excellent and hot,we found the people very friendly, shuttle service was a big plus would definitely stay again The best thing about the property is its location. We were taking an early morning flight out of London and the hotel is 5 minutes by car from the airport. The hotel is a usual Best Western - nothing fancy, but good enough for an overnight stay at a reasonable price. Room and bed veryfortable and clean. Staff are professional, kind and smiling. Breakfast delicious. Business main center is clean, organized, user friendly and in good working order. We cannot express how thankful we are for such a great experience. Location convenient for Highway. Largefortable clean room. Quiet, pleasant swimming pool. Very clean, rooms are veryfortable. Close to the airport. Breakfast was great. Lots of variety. With a little salt, the porridge was very good We loved everything about this hotel and will stay here again the future and rmend it to our friends and family The location to the airport or airdrome was fantastic and the access to the main highway east and west bound was very convenient for travel purposes. The free of cost morning meal was well presented and fresh daily with ample living space to enjoy your meal. Everything was very clean. The employees are very nice and friendly. Room was clean and the bed wasfortable. Hot morning meal was nice and loved the Canadian bacon. Housekeeping staff. The proximity of the hotel and the location of my meetings The hotel employees went nice and beyond They were exceptional in so many ways. I will absolutely be back and look forward to it. The bed was also veryfortable!!! Nicefy bed in a spacious living space with large nicely decorated bathroom. Very quiet surroundings, large flat screen tv. The most awesome thing was the m

👎 N A Cards to open the doors didn t work well. The hotel itself and employees were fine but there were several kids running up and down the halls yelling late into the night. My and other young girls had apetition early within the morning and were kept up because the employees could not get it under control. They did try but the kids were out of control. In my opinion, those guests should have been asked to leave. We were staying 3 nights. Saturday morning at 9 am living space service woke us up to clean. I said not yet. And she said Saturday it’s a short day. And she didn’t not clean at all. Just give us a fresh towels. I had never see something like that. Pool was very dirty Surrounded by loud and obnoxious hockey team that kept us up all night. Also, Walls are so thin you can hear even conversations while other guests are in their rooms. living space was dirty and had ants. The carpet was filthy. when I wiped the bathroom floor it was disgusting. a couple of the towels were not clean. The bed wasfortable Would have been good to have a restaurant on site for those without transport. But it was a quick ride to eateries. A kettle within the living space would have been more accessible rather than a one cup coffee machine. It would of been good to see another t.v. news channel reporting the other side of the news. All of the available channels at the hotel only told one side of the news, thereby indoctrinating the public in leftist ideology. It would be good to see both sides of an issue so a person can decide what to believe. Just saying. Very noisy.. woken up several times from people yelling in hallway. Furnace kept clicking loudly throughout the night.. temp was cold then hot most of the night. WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT THE COFFEE JUICE AREA UNTIL TIME TO LEAVE!! The pillows were a little too firm. thing There weren’t a lot of nearby places to eat. There was a plentiful morning meal buffet though the cooked food wasn’t hot enough for my taste. restaurant within the hotel though there was a microwave and the possibility of buying ready meals, plus restaurants fast food outlets not far away. WiFi within the living space kept dropping in and out. Having to drive down city to access licensed restaurants. It would be nice if there was a restaurant within the hotel. When I booked, I asked for a handicap living space with afortable chair as I recently was in an bike accident and it ismon for me to spent half thr night sleeping in a chair.t only did we not get a handicap living space but the chair was hardlyfortable even with the use of 3 pillows. There wasn t anything that me or my husband didn t like we were and are very happy and will stay here again within the future The living space keys would work on and off until they just stopped all together. We got locked out and had to get new keys made twice. WIFI was terrible. It kept dropping out and the price is a little high for what you get. did not like all the disposable dishes and cutlery at breakfast. so much waste and garbage. this bothered me a lot. who does that anymore? could you please get a dishwasher and re-useable dishes? Away from everything. Unable to get any info prior booking on where it was in relation to city. Manager unhelpful; had my camera stolen; desk clerk snickered and laughed; housekeeper stepped in. To begin I checked into my living space and unpacked all of my belongings. I was getting ready to hea

👍 Veryfortable, nice size room. Good value for the money. Reasonable price. Breakfast was a full morning meal close to stores and hospitals. Balcony. Love the access to the outside patio from our rooms. We had three rooms booked. We all gather on the patio instead of inside one of the room. It was nice. As a hotel should be, clean. Great service when I needed it. Smoking living space available and best of all on ground floor. Even though the hotel is in much need of a facelift, my living space was extremely clean. The employees was very friendly. For a moderately priced hotel it was very quiet. Nice to have a good restaurant within the hotel with a very good and reasonably priced morning meal in particular. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel as well. The employees was very friendly and the living space was very clean. We had a great stay. Bonus: the hotel was very close to the venue of our concert: Budweiser gardens. I liked the location, bed and linens werefortable and clean. The fact theres a beautiful pool, beautiful view, friendly staff,fy beds, large fridge, lots of storage, and the fact employees never bugged us. The bathroom could use some updating; I I Didn t wallpaper was patched in a few places, water damage seen through the wall, rust within the bottom. of the tub,. A lot of cigarette butts on the walkway looking outside our ground floor patio door. The front work area was ok and she called my living space shortly after I arrived there to make sure everything was ok, which was very courteous. Friendly employees - Great location - Clean living space : Location was great for the conference I was attending. Everything i loved. Comfort of bed, lots of pillows, kind employers, very clean living space and building, Best customer service ever, Awsome value, Awsome price, Great location with food in building and walking distance to other food spots. Real family type of Inn. Pool outside as well for warmer months. A Plus for sure. Friendly and helpful front work area staff. Given the facility is looking rather worn, both inside and out, my living space was clean and acceptable. The bed wasfortable. The temperature was easy to control. Patio door opens for fresh air and had dual locks for security which was reassuring. Nice to have a restaurant onsite. It was clean and affordable. Bit of a ways to downtown core. About a $20 cab ride but its quiet with lots of suburbanforts and a mall right by That I was able to cancel the next day stay for no cost. Location It wasfortable and the employees were nice. The front work area clerk went above and beyond. I left a pair of shoes behind within the living space and went back to get them and someone from employees thought I was taking what didn’t belong to me and made me give my new shoes to him. This man on employees subsequently called the police.thing came of it after that. However the man on employees was very presumptuous and rude. The bed was reallyfy, we were able to leave from our own living space or even a few doors down instead of always walking to the front. Lighting was really good. All employees is amazing and rooms super clean. Great location, friendly staff, veryfortable. I will definitely stay here again. great location director across from white oaks mall. lots of food choices near by as well. there is a restaurant within the hotel with great food. The living space was basic, large, and clean. The b

👎 It was a little further from the concert venue than i thought, my fault i should have done more research. Smoking rooms. Stinky. other rooms available when booking. People throwing lit cigarettes outside of the balcony doors that kids could pick up. Active smokeing within the balcony doors if they were open.. Safety issues- anyone coulde in through the balcony doors even if locked not a secure parking lot Thin walls. There was a group of young men on either side of my living space running, swearing and playing loud music until late within the evening. The back parking lot is narrow. Those with large vehicles may have a tough time getting in and out. The laundry living space smells of mildew. The toilet would not flush and they came to fix it but it kept happening. I have to call the front work area for more towels but after 3 attemps on the phone, I end up going to the front desk. The restaurant at the hotel close early and open late. It was never open when we were there. We wished that house cleaners remember we asked for more towels when we arrive and make sure we get more towels after they cleaned our living space so we do not have to ask again. Only one chair in a double bed living space :.. tho a phone call and immediately was given another tho it was a cheap ufortable Burn marks on the carpet, very dated old rooms. mouthwash within the bathroom;Low water pressure and bathroom exhaust fan broken. The building is tired, needs updating repairs. In London for a concert downtown music Hall with my youngest son. 2 queen beds. Should be equal density; 1 extremely hard and the other more plush. I have back injury. way can sleep on a slab of concrete like that bed. Felt badly that my kid had to. Idk hisfort levels. Dissatisfied with any type offort , but the living space was functional somewhere to eat, sleep and shower. Next time I m booking elsewhere. Small bar fridge was off. Had food needing steady temp. Took 6 hrs for fridge to cool should be turned on by motel for the guests anticipated arrival!Avg., Typical living space for the price. Staff is very friendly and amodating housekeeping brought lots of extra towels upon request. Quick, efficient check-in and check-out. Extended checkout time is gracious no charge😊 It has an open-air pool and the only thing that would make the hotel better is if it became and indoor pool. The ice machine didn’t work. Also our living space required a lot of walking to get to. Maybe they can figure out a better way to get around. The mattress needed to be changed. It sagged where people would sit on the side of the bed. You had to sit on bed as there was only one chair in room. Did not choose the paid morning meal from the menu had very few items for the price. Above that, there was only cereal and milk for vegetarians. How we could smell people smoking pot and could hear people on the balcony and the fact there was no pressure within the shower Staff was great! Called the front work area about noise and it quieted down within 7mins!!! Asked for a later checkout and we allowed tobstayvtill 1:00. Dirty sheets. To many kids making noise past 1:00 am. To many sports teams. If you get a noiseplaint against a certain living space - charge them 50 extra dollars. Secondplaint 100 dollars extra. You ll find if you implement a rule that will hit the pocket books of the people that disturb other paying customers, your rating will go up. The hote

👍 The bed wasfortable. The man at Reception was pleasant when I arrived and left. The bed was fairlyfortable. The location was alright Quietness level of heat in living space was good, close to bus stop Price was great for super last minute amodations Had a pop machine It was a cot not a bad Good location It was under 100 Close to east end shopping and businesses.

👎 The living space was run down and filthy. It was a smoking living space so I didn t expect a castle but this was more like abandoned and ill used. facilities were very run down the living space didn’t look clean was dark and dank didn’t even have a blanket on bed when was given the room. It had no phone to call out when I inquired they said well we don’t have one in all rooms people just use there own here, which if youring from out of city you want a phone as to not use long distance on your cell. It was honestly just super gross and had a prostitution vibe. disgusting room.... dirty ... everything dusty... bathroom ... for dwarf ... but bath wall dirty and had dry hair stocked on it... water constantly ran in toilet ... bed sheet and blanket covered in yellow spots ... not fresh... I have to use my sleeping bag... and cause of it had no rest .. disgusting ... check in guy was unhappy... seems like he was upset that so. eone checking in... HEATER DOESNT WORK I got cold in here... It was yet another dreary motel run by South Asians who are trying to make a go of a place in a very uninspiring neighbourhood full of similar establishments and barely a place to eat modestly., they had slightly upgraded the bathroom with a new-ish sink and door, but the floor was not very clean and although the sheets were, the bedspread had cigarette burns ... in a non-smoking room. The wireless worked for email but didn t allow me to pick up much web content. It was an economical listing, but not worth even that price. It was dirty and had cockroaches within the rooms. thing leaking toilet, unclean sheets, flat pillows, door lock system. Discovered a cockroach within the living space on my pillow! Filthy living space that was in disrepair Black mold broken bed There is mold within the bathroom roof and the the carpet was really dirty turn my feet black Far from downtown Very very dirty.

👍 The bedding was clean The living space was quiet The employees was excellent... The location was within a 10 minute walk to Budweiser Garden. The front work area receptionist upon arrival was friendly and charismatic. The bowl of raisin bran which was the morning meal service. During our stay, the employees was very friendly and the on-site parking was very convenient. The price was reasonable for a hotel stay. The church besides... booking was not a hustle.. employees are nice This hotel was horrific. I had a bad feeling from the moment I pulled into the parking lot. It s next door to a strip joint. There wasn t anything I can say I liked about this place. This is the type of dingy hotel you see within the movies where someone ends up murdered. Cheap, cost to the venue I was going to. Friendly employees thing The location was great. We were able to walk to downtown for the concert The final living space we finished in was adequate. The phone didn t work. Bed wasfortable without dents. Clean. Loved the cold air conditioner. The attendant Sam was very helpful finding us a better living space after we told him any floor was good as long as the elevator worked. Thanks Sam! Staff were nice and friendly. Place was cheap Local close to where I wanted to be The employees was very helpful and amodating, they upgraded me to a King Bed, when my living space wasn t ready. The living space had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. The couch wasfortable. The morning meal was good, there was a choice of cereals, toast, muffins, bagels, yogurt and fresh fruit. They need to put in that there is 150 deposit . On there website and need to be more clear on the fees. And aadations. Location was close to downtown It was close to a concert I was seeing that nite so was worth the short trip because of the price range. The location was convenient for where I needed to go. It was quiet and the employees was very friendly. the price, it was the cheapest hotel i can find in such short notice, but i wouldn t have stayed more than one night. Breakfast was good.. it was a good price for a short stay Very quiet hotel. Room a little tired but very clean and bathroom a good size and very clean, sheets and pillow cases very clean and fresh smelling. Could use newforter. Overall good value for the cash for a shirt stay. Breakfast options about what expected and coffee was above average for a hotel inclusive breakfast. Would stay again. The employees was friendly. It was a cheap hotel. It allows pets. Staff was courteous and helpful. full points. employees was nice, nice bathroom, morning meal included- was not able to go during the available time so unsure the quality or service The wireless was really great. The person at check-in and checkout were really nice and the price was right. Easy to find, towels were amazing morning meal was good. The staff The living space isfortable and spaciousThe employees are friendly and courteous I needed a living space with more direct light on the desk so Immediately the guy within the reciption came to me and Changed the living space for me. It was horrible not what we expected. Pictures on website look way better then in person. I would never stay there ever again or rmend it to any one. I give it a 0 star. The people at the desk were very friendly and the beds werefortable The morning meal was fresh n there was a large va

👎 The rooms need aplete overhaul, very old and dingyThe beds were ufortable Upon entering our living space it was evident that there was not much if at all effort or care that went into the upkeep. There were unidentifiable splashes on the walls, toothpaste splatter on the mirrors, the shower features athick, visible layer of soap scum, there were stains around the door handles, thick layers of dust and build-up on and around the a c unit. The sheets were clearly soiled and the list goes on. The morning meal was fine although they were out of practically everything. Fortunately, I reserved my living space exclusively for sleeping and was even hesitant to do that. Econo Lodge is fine if you are stuck and just need a place to rest your head, but don t expect much more than that Room was dirty and smelly. Charged a security deposit of $150 when there was nothing within the living space worth that. Looks like they furnished the living space at Dumps-Are-Us. A disgusting experience. The area wasn t great. Our stay was pretty noisy at all hours. We were woken up several times throughout the night. Our living space smelled like cigarette smoke. There were no easily accessible electrical outlets. The living space was generally dirty. Some general repairs were definitely needed. Toilet doesn t flush.. you can hear all noises from besides living space neighbor and hallway... poorly located except the church The neighborhood isn t the greatest. Seems like the place has gone downhill from I stayed there around 5 years ago. Air conditioning is next to non-existence. There is a stench that hits your nose upon entering the lobby. It gets worse as you go up the stairs and into the hallway. My first living space had a stain on theforter. I called downstairs, and the initial response was what do you want us to do about that. I was eventually offered another room. There was a stain on the floor in that room, and in addition to the view of the strip joint, my friend and I also witnessed a prostitution ring happening within the parking lot behind the hotel. The air conditioner was damaged and loud, stains on the ceiling. Poor selection within the morning meal for gluten free. Everything, lack of cleanliness, damage to the rooms, felt like I was in a dingy motel. Didnt know that we would be staying in a hotel where it was filled with Refugees. We were unable to get into our living space and when we went to the front reception they were unable to fix the issue. So we were given access to room. by the manager. However from they never fixed the issue or brought up new cards we were unable to leave room. Otherwise we d have to go back to the front office for assistant. This was a big issue for us. We should be able to access our living space whenever we wish and not be stuck to wait on the staff. Also the door the bathroom gets stuck the floor when trying to open close. This would be a simple fix by having the door planked on the bottom to lose a few cm. The $150 deposit is crazy when the hotel is so run down. There was tons of dirt and gross stuff left in bathroom. We were worried we would be charged so we filmed everything within the living space to. cover ourselves. To be fair, we asked for first floor rooms but they shouldn t even consider the living space they gave us first. There was dust. The smell was stuffy and thick. Air conditioner didn t work. The second living space on the first floor was a a little better but we sat on the bed and it came off its home made base onto the floor. Carpet wa

👍 The location was convenient and the employees were friendly. Very friendly reception! We have been there several times. It is a safe, affordable location. Superfortable, great service... Everything we needed! Like the location. Fridge and dishwasher inside the room. Veryfortable bed, quiet place, and close to the Masonville Mall. There is a kitchen you can use if you want to cook something, that is a nice feature if you want to stay longer then a weekend. The view is nice, like being on a small farm. After a blistering hot day, we walked in to an icy cold living space perfect, after an easy check-in. It was far cleaner than I thought it would be, and nice and quiet. Wonderfully convenient, clean, great price, and great location. It obviously isn t fancy, but for a single night at ~$70 after taxes on a Saturday in July, it was excellent. Will definitely use again should I need within the future. Even the bed was better than some hotels I ve stayed in! Location, near hospital. Community Kitchenette provided labels for your food. Complimentary coffee tea available. I m writing this review after checking out, as sitting within the lovely lounge area relaxing with only the sound of the wind blowing through the trees. I wanted simple, yetfortable and quiet, as I attended a jam packed conference, and that s exactly what I got. The living space met my basic needs, and the employees at very late check in and a delayed check out with the wonderful Cassandra were fabulous. I didn t interact with a single soul within the building been checking in and checking out, and given how long and busy my days were, that was exactly what I needed! Beautiful location, and easy to access the hospital on the enormous Western University campus. A great stay! Enough space in family living space for 4 people. Walking distance from university morning meal offered. The place was nicely located. carcasses Peaceful. Lovely grounds. Quiet location, greenary Location and frontline staff Room was big and clean. Staff was friendly. Facilities were good. Location was good for me: near where I wanted to be. May be a bit far out for some if they wish to walk to town. But Uber costs about 11 Canadian dollars. I was staying there as my husband was having surgery. It was nice to be able to make a cup of tea and relax within the beautiful lounge area - veryfortable Peaceful, clean, very convenient. Beautiful grounds. Although shower not in room, it has always been available, clean and private. Great value. Kitchen down the hall for use. Good location to St Josephs hospital. I shared a bathroom and it was okay for a short stay. It was basic but clean. It was clean, nice to have the kitchen facility with the free of cost coffee. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would rmend this place to anyone who is visiting London and needs a place to stay. The bed wasfy. It does feel a bit like a carpeted hospital living space but it was clean andfortable and cheap! Very close to University Hospital - employees very helpfulTricky to find but explanation on website helped greatlyPrice was good The beds and bedding were superfortable. Location and neighbourhood were ideal. I had an early exam at Western and there was a bad ice storming. It was very close to school, and the living space wasfortable. Good for one night stay extreamly from it was literally just to sleep. Share

👎 the A C was very loud within the room, and the closet needs to be painted to hide the old smell. There were additional charges beyond what the website showed. It would be a advantage to provide individual item e. g. shower cap, tooth paste, box tissue etc. I prefer a firmer mattress and there are hairs on pillows. There is really nothing we didn t like. The employees as always was courteous, and helpful. I didn t know that it was a retirement home, no problem with that just wondering if I missed this information! : Some front work area staffs were rude. Did not mention about towel replacement and garbage disposal when check in. kettle within the living space had to go up to second floor to get water tea or coffee. Looks very old. The enhancement is from the 60s maybe, somemon areas smell like old as well. The A C is old and noisy. There is no shampoo for the bath. It s like an old Hospital, probably it was something like that. Maybe give 2 plastic cups within the living space so small I know. Very small TV. Should have a mirror within the living space if you have a shared bathroom. There was nothing toplain about. The rating I gave was based on the reality of the hotel s amenitiespared to others, but it was what I wanted in terms of location to the campus, but not staying within the dorms like most of my colleagues at the conference. It s fine for my type of stay. Key to note that I had a queen living space with individual bathroom and balcony in a corner room, so can tpare to smaller or other options offered. Only 3 towels for 4 people. Room not cleaned daily and hence no new towels provided after first night would be good to mention this prior to booking The rooms were cold looking institutional. The TV within the living space was very small 20in. The balcony wasn t clean. Cobweb within the doorway to the balcony. TV living space was missing a TV. Apparently it was stolen 5 months ago. The shower stalls were littered with insect carcasses moths Would like a few pieces of China and cutlery within the room. Easy to short trip in suite where table is placed. distinction of step down because all rug is the same colour. The fitted sheet on the queen bed, right side was stained pink. The washroom had smoke odour and had to spray perfume and leave washroom fan on for the entire duration of the the stay but odour still persisted. Ridiculously there were no hooks or bar to hang clothes so ended up hanging clothes and rain jackets on the fridge door and headboard and foot boards of the beds and the two accent chairs while making sure items didn t touch floor. The kitchenette had no doors, dishes were collecting dust so didn t use the dishes. Did n t use cutlery as they were collecting dust from being out on the counter. I don t understand why they removed the cupboard doors. The floor near the window was not vacuumed. Used countertop lined with towel and pillowcase to use as iron board and ironed clothes to remove wrinkles from garments as there were no proper place to hang clothes. In the end not worth the cash when essential features arepletely missing. I didn t see extra bags for garbage bins. toothpaste, no shampoo was provided, just two super small soap bar. I asked for toothpaste, and they gave me a one-year expired toothpaste, and when I asked them what this is, they said you have car, and you can go and buy toothpaste if you wish. time was 1:00 AM!!!!!!!!I was paying about 140CAD night, and everyth
