Studio in Times Square

West 46th Street Between 6th and 7th avenue, New York, NY 10036, USA

πŸ‘thing That we left! The location was excellent,a lot to do in area. The studio apartment was nice and other then walking up 3 flights of stairs the living space was nice. Perfect location, good value for money The only positive was that it was within the heart of time square The location was great. Except for location, rest everything was poor Location is great The location was the only good thing about this apartment. location Great location, 1 minute walk to times square great ubication Location The location to Times Square is amazing. The email guidance for check-in check-out was easy peasy. Our living space was available at 2pm instead of the expected 4pm. The hot water worked great! Woot woot! Location thing. This property is a dirty unsafe disaster Location only Location was close to city square. It was nice it had a fridge, mic, toaster. The location was central to retail and entertainment. Location to Times Square Beds arefy and beautiful! Perfect location. Totally accessible to anything and everything. Will definitely rmended for first-time travelers. The location is excellent.. Good location. Really close to Times Square. I didn’t see any bugs that peoplemented earlier. Beds were fine. I rmend this studio apartment if you plan to spend the whole day out and onlye back to living space just to sleep. thing, dirty and dusty, stained sheets, taps didn t work, smelly, dirty bathroom, cockroaches, cheap and nasty, location the only good part but didn t warrant a penny of what we paid. Would rather have stayed further away and paid more. Totally put a black cloud over what was an amazing experience! The location. We didn’t have to spend any more time than necessary within the apartment. Location - awesome, yards from Times Square. Towels and bedding were provided and my teenager appreciated the wireless ! Good location but thats about it. The sheets were clean Location Property was central and bedroom space was good furnished with iron, toaster, micro, fridge, hairdryer thing Location near Times Square. I was nervous with all the negative reviews about the property; however, when we got there-yes there were many stairs to climb-but the living space was quite charming! While the bathroom could’ve been more modern, it was still functional. I would ignore most of those negative reviews-for the price, it was a good value! Never met hosts and was difficult to get messages as WiFi didn’t work at building at all. When we arrived there was another group after accessing our room. They returned quickly and removed their belongings. Easy access to the parade on 6th Location is excellent, all rest is not. From the very first time I used a lot of cash to confirm my reservation. I called the host and told me that I do not have reservation but they already charged my credit card. This is the first time I have ever had this problem on my booking from I became a member. Just to say that collection of the key was not easy as I had to ring the host a few times before getting the key. I got a bit frustrated however once we got the keys everything else was perfect. I loved the location and the ease of getting to and from the city airport or airdrome etc. I would have no problem rmending this property to family and friends : Location, location, location! Location, and it was quiet. The location was nice The location was great, steps away from Times Square. It wasfortable. The air conditioner worked ok which was good as we were there on a hot day. The location was ideal considering we wanted to be near Times Square. The location was perfect Good location. thing, do not stay here! Only the location of the property Just the location Nice location thi

πŸ‘Ž smelt of gas and grease, noise of the bathroom fan, shower was filthy, bedsheets had stains. Had to climb 5 flights of stairs, which were narrow. This place is a roach infested dump that is located above a nail salon. It stinks walking into the staircase that looks sketchy alone. You won’t see these photos on booking though. There is mold and falling ceiling within the bathroom - notice it’s not pictured. We killed 4 baby roaches, two of which were under the covers. Jake seemed inconvenienced each time I called him with concerns on the steaming heated that we were afraid to turn off, the roaches, the key box... this was the worst experience ever! Me and my girlfriends highly rmend the Hampton that we ran to afterwards on W41st between 7th and 8th, for nearly the same price. Climbing 3 flights of stairs but we knew that before we went. The only other thing was that the beds are so low to the floor. Cockroaches, smelly fridge, lack of bin bags, dirty bathroom, only one out of the 3 lights working, the buzzer didn’t work The list of what me and my didn’t like about Studio on the Square is quite long. We stayed in unit 8 which was 3 flights up steep stairwayOnce within the apt we see it’s nothing like the pics posted on .Substandard conditions. Our first impression were We can’t stay here But like good little troopers we decided to stick it out and make the best of it. Big mistakeThe hardest beds we ever slept in. The smell was very bad like rotten food or something Then we spotted our 1st roach which was within the bed under theforter The bathroom was the worst everSome kind of tube type shower that was cracked and moldy toilet and hot water heart bump up together. living space to even turn around The bathroom sink was right outside the door Cold water needed to turned on from the valve under the sink. Reason being that there was a constant flow of water from faucet if not turned off and the pipes where leaking as wellIt gets worst when on the second night not only did my guest find a roach crawling on her leg we then seen that the stove sinkbo was horribly infested with roaches that wheree from behind the stove and up the walls and within the sinkWent to Duane Reed to get Raid Roach Spray and Air Freshener because the smell got worse and worse each dayI can go on but I think you get the pictureBack to hotel rooms for us. We had our living like the locals experience and will never do that again To . which I love, I strongly suggest you think twice about having this apartment as part of your portfolio. My group and myself still question why we put up with staying there as long as we did. Guess the drinks helped us persevere The linens were old and worn. One of the bath towels had an ink stain on it. There were no hand towels or wash cloths. There was mold within the shower. Also, a large hole within the wall. In the kitchen area there were no paper towels and there were only 3 mugs and about 8 plates. soap to wash ones hands and no tissues. This was not at all up to standards for renting out and by far NOT worth the cash they charge. We saw 2 cockroaches while staying there and no instructions about what to do with the garbage. There were no extra bags even if we were able to empty it. The living space is dim, maybe because 3of the 8 light bulbs were out. 1. escalator, only staircase at 4th level, with kids and parents it was extremely hard2. Room was very small, dingy and shabby with no ventilation3. Basic amenities such as soap, toiletries was not available Dirty, smelly, things are not working within the room, bed was notfortable, and I did not meet anyone from the property. When I called them to at least accept my luggage from I arrived earlier than check in time, no one helped me. Over over over priced for nothing. Unpleasant experience and I will never think to return even if it was for free The 6 inch mattress with no box springs was beyond horrifi

πŸ‘ The living space was clean, fortable and ideally located for a short stay in NYC !The small kitchen was well furnished and practical if you don t want to eat at the restaurant within the morning. Very good value. Just be aware within the evening is hard to sleep as it’s noisy outside and also the heating pipes inside. Otherwise, this hotel is great value for money. Room was nice. The location is excellent, and propose very good value for money. The living space wasfy and pretty, it had all the amenities for the bathroom and kitchen with equipment. It was downtown and close to everything. The neighborhood was very safe. The interiors were pretty neat and clean and had a present days touch. Hallway not so great, unclean and dingy It is very central and only a few minutes walk from lots of great attractions. It is also great value when you consider the location. Don t expect Five-star luxury at this price but if you are travelling on a budget then this is perfect. The bed was veryfortable. I really liked the overall size and layout of the apartment. Everything was really great. The location was great! The living space size was adequate for 3 people and the facilities included cooking facilities, fridge, iron and ironing board and adjustable air conditioning. cute living space - big bed, nice style even though simple. all extras there: kettle, hair dryer, etc. The reception clerk and the cleaning crew were great. This location is very convenient for Penn station. Having a very basic kitchen was a plus. Great location, slightly strange layout within the living space but you had everything you needed. Small butfortable. the bed was veryfortable. the location was excellent It was very convenient for the intended purpose. Was very convenient to Penn Station. It was located near lots of stuff. It was clean with the exception of the one pillow. Was as pictured. I d stay there again. Location is really the only benefit here if you want to be close to mid town. The living space was beautiful and extreamly the bathroom was spacious and very modern. The location is absolutely great with the Empire State Building in sight from our window. Couldn t have been better, extreamly for this price. The Cave living space was very cute andfy. It worked for out we needed. Thanks thing. The pictures advertised and the actual hotel was beyond different. The employees were really hard to locate as the building is actually run by multiple hotels which doesn t make any sense. The whole stay was just horrible! Location It was easy to locate Bed wasfy and location was good. This apartment is in a prime location. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything I expected. There was no problem checking in and there was no problem whatsoever contacting the management. My fiance and I really enjoyed our stay, its a beautiful studio and close to that action definitely a bang of my buck given that i reserved last minute. I rmend 1000 really great experience. Cool apartment-style hotel Nice living space and decor. Our city studio was great. The location is fantastic. They re were just 3 of us myself and my parents, and we were veryfortable the whole time. The mattresses on the bed and futon are amazing. We had the AC on and didn t have any issues with outside noise. But none of us typically sleep inplete silence anyway. I d rmend this living space and would

πŸ‘Ž The noise. Bed was very ufortable. Got woken up In the morning because there was a leak within the living space below us and they didn’t know where the leak wasing from. The facilities were not clean, there was no cleaning of the living space done during our stay. The window didn’t close well so the air came through a little bit but they provided us with an air heater that helped. Since it was a building where people lived, the noise sometimes was bothering. And the apartment was a little dusty, butfortable still. The hallway was dingy and creepy and we couldn t find the living space easily It s a bit scary when you first arrive slightly shabby entrance with quite a few people hanging around who didn t make it seem very inviting. For the first visit to New York in my case, with my family it may put a lot of people off. Honestly, everything was really great. The onlyplaint I would have is listing of the cost on the website. I clicked on it expecting 255, and there were enough extra fees that the price went up 100 bucks. You should include the cleaning cost within the price you list on the various websites. The price wasn t a dealbreaker obviously, but it wouldn t have been better if had been a surprise. The building could have been better maintained and the walls were thin so a bit noisy but inside the apartment was good. simply too noisy, even with earplugs and the window is not opening. there was some hair within the bathroom, it could be cleaner. and the public hall to the studio is dodgy and dirty. The photos of the rooms and what you actually get are vastly different. The rooms window looked out on a dark wall, the furnishings were below the standard shown in pictures, to include light fixtures that had edison bulbs and cold LEDs within the same fixture, a really basic level of care that isn t shown. There was extremely loud construction within the elevator shaft that continued until at least 1AM. The freezer within the mini fridge was full of frost so it couldn t hold anything. Basically the living space was a budget studio and they bought a modern-looking bed frame then named the establishment with the same brand as the luxury hotel down the block to justify $300 a night. t really the fault of the host but there was loud construction going on across the road and also within the flat directly above us. The air con drowned most of it out and the host had left ear plugs so it wasn t a massive problem. There is a storage area on high of the boxed in bathroom that makes the living space feel a little messy. the living space need a face lift. there were no towels when we arrived and had to use paper towels after our bath In reception there was no body. The security guy had to go looking for the receptionist and we have to wait for half an hour until he found her. Internet connection never worked. They charged us $7 per luggage to keep it after checkout. And in some of the apartments around they are doing reparations, so all of the surroundings where dirt and noisy. The lock to the door jiggled and didn t seem as safe as it could be. The bathroom was really small and hot inside. One of the pillows looked like it had dried bodily fluid on it. The numbering of the rooms was crazy!!! I now have my first ever experience with dealing with the excruciating pain of what I strongly suspect to be bed bug bites. Over 30 painful bites from staying just 1 night here. The WiFi did work but was too sl

πŸ‘ Overall was lovely, location and employees were helpful Staff was nice enough, close to subway. thing, expect from the area. The area was okay, but close to Harlem. Most of the employees was very friendly, location and price are great. Mattress was good andfortable. Very inexpensive! Great location, Central Park West close to transit. A quick walk through the park and you re on the museum mile. I had a 2 bunk female room. They provided extension cords for both bunks. There was a table with a lamp within the room. Each bunk was assigned a locker. While there is another international hostel nearby with better amenities, this place is half the price, safe and clean. The location was good, but just by half. The pros are that it was very near to Central Park. I spent the whole morning exploring Central Park all the way up to the Upper East Side. The cons are that the neighborhood the Hostel was in is kind of shady at night. Specially near the location of the stores and restaurants. There were many weird and scary people for my taste. The water was hot and bed wasfortable. Your night employees are way nicer than your daytime staff!Easy to find and good location. Location is perfect. Close to subway, bus stops. - very nice and helpful employees and homey atmosphere in general - the kitchen is well furnished with a huge fridge, microwave and toaster- themon living living space isfortable- excellent location of the hostel, just by Central Park and 3 minutes walk from the closest subway station- seemingly the best price for an amodation in Manhattan Location was good for the price-paid; bed and living space had little toplain but more to wish for. It s a reasonable hostel, but could do much better with improved management. I mean this even more having stayed in other hostels, similarly priced, and few blocks closer. Subway was close by. The atmosphere is very relaxing; people feelfortable opening up, smiling or sharing a box of pizza and a six pack of beer. It’s a small hotel, not anything fancy, but it’s good value for a lower price than many other hotels. The employees is incredible. They are very helpful, super friendly and not too busy to have a slice of pizza within the lounge with you. Everything was great. Location, staff, cantine etc. The bathroom was unusually clean for a hostel. thing. I have nice sleeps, they havemon living space with fridge and microwave Close to Central Park, great for a morning run walkClose to subway station, took about 10 minutes on subway to get to downtown. The employees was helpful. Beds are veryfy, living space temperature very good and the sheets living space was overall clean. Great for the price and the broke tourist I don’t know whether location belongs to property or not but its location was good. This hostel is located in around central park. So, I could walk near upper Manhattan walking central park. Location is great - near the subway and Central Park. Cosy dining working area where we could work for half a day even after the checkout. Location is good The location is pretty much the only good thing about the place. It’s near the metro stop 5 minutes walking and Central Park is crossing the street. The employees was nice and the girl at the reception was awesome. Me and my friend booked at different times and weren’t at the same living space but she arranged to put us together on an even

πŸ‘Ž The first few days of the stay it was okay, but than I started notice that the bathroom was not being clean properly, the cleanning people does not change sheets between guests, I saw twice they just organize the bed with the same sheets between guests. People smoking cigarettes and pod inside bedrooms and hall ways and nobody did anything even afterplains. The fact that you can t use irons or hair dryers, but I understand its got something to do with the law Money was stolen from my wallet, waited for the manager to show up for a week, never did.Bathroom was not in living space as advertised but outside so paid extra for nothing. The workers were really unfriendly and unmotivated! help for nothing . It was not clean at all and the washrooms were disgusting. I am used to places like that, but for the price it was not fair at all. I was really disappointed about the place and I will not go back there again. Kitchen is more or less non existent not even cutlery, cups etc, vending machines are empty or eat up your coins without giving out items, wireless doesn t work upstairs 5th floor, the whole place is outdated, depressing and FILTHY, showers don t give ANY privacy, only 2 plugs for 8 people within the dorm room. The women s showers on the first floor weren t very hot and the drains would back up leaving you standing in a puddle. I was booked for the Two-Bed Mixed Room. The first living space I was given was TERRIBLE. Apparently, there was already someone else there. But the living space was SUPER DIRTY. The guy s underwear was everywhere. The beds were NOT made, even the bed on high the one that was supposed to be MY bed. The rooms were NOT as spacious as featured within the pictures online. The ladder to the upper bed was to small and narrow for a large guy like me, which led to me requesting to be transferred to a living space with a bed on the bottom bunk. Luckily, they amodated my request and had me transferred. The NEW living space was way better. And I got lucky enough to be able to stay there by myself throughout my entire stay. It was very loud and the heating was on full so I felt like I could barely breathe within the room. The employees did turn the heating down off when requested but then it was back on again the following day. It is very expensive- but that is NYC. isy, terrible mattress on bunk bed, only one toilet cabin for dozen of people in total 2, but the other never worked, terrible temperature regulation cold and stuffy from time to time, poor reaction to problems from the stuff card reader didn t open the door, had to stay in corridor 1 hour after morning shower :D, then was offered other living space for short stay not to get frozen. Almost ruined my Christmas holidays staying at this hostel :Wouldn t return to this place. - dirtiness in general: within the the bedroom floor and the shared shower area - temperature of the water within the shower was hard to set- I needed a restorative night but my sleep was really disturbed by people playing and shouting until Two-3 am. I expected a better isolation of the bedrooms.- if you are a non-smoker person, you should try to avoid the Two-bed bedroom, from the size of the bedroom does not enable a good circulation of the air.roommate did not smoke inside of course, but still the smell of the smoke pervaded the room. Bathrooms weren t clean soiled rather - always a red flag for anybodyLacks a good relaxed lounge where most people could get-together an

Harlem YMCA

180 West 135th Street, Harlem, New York, NY 10030, USA

πŸ‘ I needed handicap accessible amodations using a walker and they fulfilled my needs. I first time I stayed here I was escorted to my living space which was right next door to the handicap bathroom. There is A refrigerator in each room, most YMCAs do not offer that. The propose was great and the fitness center features awater fountain with filtered water, so you can fill your bottles instead of buying water. The employees is very amodating and professional. I had a great experience. The subway is at the corner, along with 2 bus lines. We had a topfloor living space with a nice skyline view within the distance. Very nice neighbourhood to stay in Staff I have stayed at YMCA, Eastside and Westside, but Harlem s Y exceeded my expectations! I am handicapped, using a walker. I always request handicapp accessible amodations, but the Westside Y was challenging. I would have to request a key to the handicapp bathroom. At the Harlem Y I was escorted to my living space which was located right next to the handicapped bathroom. The elevator was close by. I did not receive that kind of support at the other YMCA s. A lounge area with table, chairs, sink and microwave was available on my floor with free of cost WiFi. The cleanliness. It was close to the subway into New York . I only liked the fitness center living space and the swimming pool. Friendly employees quickly solved all issues. The living space we got was close to the restroom. All restrooms were almost always free. We could leave our luggage at reception after check-out for free. The living space was immaculate, as far as, cleanliness. Value. Bunkbeds, shared bathrooms, but clean; pretty much what I expected. The idea, on this occasion, was to save money. I got a good night’s sleep, on two consecutive nights. Other than sleeping, I spent virtually no time in my room. Room temperature regulation required a little work but eventually was satisfactory. I have stayed here many times and the check in employees always remembers me. Everyone is so nice. Rooms do get a bit warm but the AC helps cool it down. But a great place to call home away from home I liked the pool for exercise. L’Hotel eodo vicino alla metro 135, si raggiunge velocemente Central Park, Time Square e Downtown. Vista sullo Skyline. Tv in camera mini frigo. Buona Reception. The Check-in recepcionist was very nice and helpfull. Location is great, between blue and red lines.t too much to do around but you can find pubs and cafes easily. Great location, 1 minute walk from subway. Quite clean bathrooms. They charge the same price for all the rooms. I got a very small room, no closet space. Requested to switch. The manager is unwilling to do refunds or partial. They advertised free of cost internet when in fact the higher floors cannot receive or pick up the signal. The living space and facilities were very clean andfortable. The sheets, bedding and living space extremely clean. The shared bath facilities are very clean. The facilities are clean, bright, fortable. I liked that the subway was only a 2 minute walk from the YMCA and was easy to catch. Was a fast ride into times square also to the brooklyn bridge and central park. Popeyes just across the road along with shops. Room was nice and cosy also warm which was very nice during this cold time of the year! Friendly and helpful employees who helped me booked a shuttle back to the airport or airdrome as uber is very expensive in New York! Friendly staff. Great value for NYC. <b

πŸ‘Ž A cafe within the building would be convient. check in could be a bit faster, for the rest great stay Misinformation about the facilities. It says Parking when you book it, but it means street parking so you have to spend hours looking for a spot. And if you’re not from NY that can be tough, you’re never sure about what the street signs mean. I missed not having WiFi in my room. The heating system needs serious rewiring there was heat for my first night. The following 3nights it was quite COLD! I couldn t use my wireless on the guest floor. For the entire stay. Only on the lower levels. Quite an inconvenience. The water went off one night and the shared bathrooms were full off poop - and couldn t use shower sinks for showering etc. Room was definitely too small. Shared bathroom were always dirty. People made noises at night and it was hard to get some sleep. The location was noisy as well. The living space we got at first was busy: we suddenly forced that person to wake up. After a 10 minutes search the employees found a free of cost living space for us. There were 3 restrooms near us, 2 of them were cold due to opened window. Late check out is not available. The YMCA should be listed as a hostel NOT A hotel. Staff rude and are bullies -- when not condescendingasking what shelter I came from...and then requiring ID be held overnight until paid for... Even though a platinum card was in file!!!!............... The living space was the size of a prison cell. Even though booked as a double. A as far as cleanliness. The first night I was placed in a cold room. The weather had turned cold that day. The heating was not effective. There were windows all around and there was a draft getting in. I slept with my clothes on to keep warm. I was moved to another living space and it was fine. One of the lifts elevators was not working on two occasions . The second time it was off all weekend. I was on one of the high floors and had to wait a long time for connections . The internet went off on Thursday evening and was still not repaired by Sunday when I left. Initially it went off at midnight when I was contacting a relative- as I had a dying relative. I went downstairs and they said it would be back on 9njn 2 hours as they were doing some repairs- I also could not contact my friends in New York to make arrangements to meet. however it never came back on . Someone suggested to go to Macdonalds and I did that. I reported this several times at reception and I was told nothing more could be one - as the manager was off site until Monday morning. I wrote to the manager explaining the situation and the high cost I had paid to stay twice- once by his email given by employees and the other time by site. I have still to receive a reply. I m surprised at this . The YMCA is Christin organisation based on sound ethics and principles . It feels very hurtful to be ignored now several weeks. Wifi disponibile solo nella hall dell’hotel,e citata nella descrizione. The living space was oppressively overheated, they don t provide washcloths and I had to go out and buy toilet tissue. There was no way tp let fresh air into the room. There is no. mat on the bathroom floor, it was a big puddle of water on the floor, which I slipped on surely a hazard. The cashiers were polite, professional and I was greeted with the best smiles. It was more expensive than advertised. The roon was a little cold during the day. The

πŸ‘ This place is good just for one night. if you pay 20 or 30$ more, you can book better hotel. dont destroy your short trip and book better hotel. Staff is very nice and is very well located, just need 10 minutes on the subway to be at Penn station. Staff was good..... Location was great Good location Everything was bad! likes! Good location. Ok staff Dirty, And not Safe, Only one Very SmallToilet that I would never sit on, and a Dirty Shower Stall I would never use even with Shoes On. Great location, great for a low budget escape I did not like anything about the property. On arrival the manager had an attitude and as well as being hard to understand he was rude and only interested in taking my money. Location thing about it! It wasn t to far from the gym, good restaurants, and places to have drinks. There were some nice museums and galleries located nearby. I can t really say I liked too much. There was nothing to like to be honest. I guess the employees was pretty ok and the location was close to midtown. Well located. Location location OK WIFI Inexpensive Good location Free, reliable wireless at a good speed24 hour access service deskGreat location and value for cash Friendly staffSafe neighbourhood thing. Staff was friendly. BIGGEST DESASTER HOTEL-..??? I STAY IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.!!!! GO AWAY...!! 🤬😱🤮💩☹😫 BOOKING CAN FEEL SHAME, OFFERT THIS GARBAGE FOR HIS CUSTOMERS.!! It s a cheap place to stay at cheap price. Ideal for people who want to just keep baggage safe in own living space and explore the city full day, and at night just sleep dead for few hrs, while phone battery charges up. The location is great and the reception is friendly . Good location and staff. It is not bad cuz I checked in so late like 12am and only stay a few hours. If you are not picky, you can chose it because of the price. Internet was good, employees were nice. The people who work there are friendly and themunication via email was convenient. That is the only good thing I can say. I wish we would have left the place immediately after arrival. And should have asked for our cash back. Bugs were my biggest concern and I didn t see any. I don t know if I got lucky but I think it may be due to furniture stores below the hotel rather than restaurants, which was a relief. If you’re looking for a NY experience and just staying for one night it is doable. It was what I expected for the price. Leaving The employees were friendly and helpful. The bed wasfortable. I Loved the employees they very very friendly,it’s true that their English isn’t the best but they know how to explain everything they are always willing to listen to give indications and that stuff, The living space is for what you pay but anyway there’s another place not too far that is present days the same as cheap but not like this one old and dirty I think yeah it’s old but if was cleaner I mean the bathrooms that are the HELL would be a nice place ... well for what you pay would be fine and yes it’s true the location at least for me was amazing trendy neighborhood super close like SoHolita and TriBeCa eh... what else ... the subway stop super close around the corner slot of markets here and bars nice location I stayed there 7 nights I spent like 3 there cause normally I was partying and after that went to my fiend

πŸ‘Ž Room was cold. blanket was old. this place is good just for sleep and just for 1 night. I suggest you to pay a little more and book another hotel. The economy living space is nice, but without a roof in each small room, still too noise to start to sleep... I hve not liked even a single thing worst place to live very very small room,no facility no breakfast, restrooms dirty even the living space was not clean towel within the living space was rough and dirty.... employees was good but no facility within the hotel, never rmend only prefer when u hve nothing to stay.... People smoking, they are not proper rooms, you could smell the smoke, hear EVERYTHING that was going on within the rooms. The mattress was old and dirty. Truly disgusting. Unclean including blood on the first blanket we were given, the stairs smelt like urine constantly and the bathrooms were always dirty. The morning the receptionist was also incredibly loud and didn t allow anyone close by to have a good night s sleep. Someone also apparently died in one of the rooms whilst we were there which was incredibly unsettling from the employees offered no explanation to the police presence within the hotel. There is just cabin not a room. I dont use that place. 4 ×6 feed, dirty and smell like a dump you feel like you are in a grave.. So bed. The pictures dont match with the the web site. It is not hotel. It is some cancerbination of hostel and Chinese house for chicken! It is the worst place I have been in my entire life. Rooms without wall, collective sleeping, no privacy, very rood receptionist, very bad atmosphere, i couldn t wait day to leave because they donnot refund money! Chinese owners and receptionist. Do not even think to stay there! Your hokiday in NYC will be ruined. Dirty, claustrophobic and disgusting. By far the worst hotels experience I ve ever had in my life, and I ve traveled a lot in south est Asia. In my floor 1st only one bathroom out of 4 had working lights. And it was always dirty. I m very surprised that NYC council allows this hostel to scam customers with its unbearable hygienic conditions. should not support this hotel imho See above, and each Room was Smaller then a Medicine Closet and the Bed was Smaller then a Army Cot ! To be honest... the place suited my needs for the one night I stayed place to rest my head and wash within the morning 🙂 The location is poor because you are in China Town where nobody speaks English, this put me at a disadvantage straight away. There was hardly any shops there apart from the Chinese ones which I was not interested in. The Amodation was the worst I have ever slept in including Hostels. The living space was too small, and no air. You could hear your neighbors as there was no ceiling, so you got snoring etc. The bathrooms were a mess and needed a proper clean. Due to the awful amodation I was more or less forced to go out ande back late. Staying at the Grand Bowery ruined my stay in New York. Avoid at all costs, pay the extra to stay in luxury and in a place where people actually understand you. I would not give this place 1 out of 5. Some people were inconsiderate, smoking in living space or the bathroom, loud talking on their phone in room, couldn’t turn off loud fan in bathroom at night, etc Do NOT stay here! If you can avoid it at all costs I would. You can literally hear everyone like they are within the same living space with you because the ceilings are open! We got charged extra fee when we a

πŸ‘ The location is great! Away from noise yet 2 stops from time square. The rooms were clean. For the price it was good place to stay. I would definitely stay here again. was great the location only 1 block away from the metro also many options of places to eat nearby, it felt a safe naborhood The hotel meet our expectations. The employees is amazing. Great location. Super clean. The bed was confy, bathroom was clean What morning meal ? food provided. Reception was good.... provided what I requested..... chair and blanket. Room was clean, extreamly bedding. Location is very good in that subway is only one block away. The employees is really bad and he don’t know what he’s doing when we ask him questions, when we tried to talk to him, he constantly rolling his eyes and not even looking at us.. Great morning meal choices are offered at Manhattan Dinner, next to the subway station. Ten minutes walking from the hotel there are some bars and restaurants. I rmend Gabriela , a Mexican restaurant for dinner or lunch, it is a bit expensive but their food is great. They have as well a good menu of tequilas and mezcals. staying across from my old apartment which is now sublet, but to which I still have access with the permission of the renter, and having access to all my old haunts -- restaurants and bank, etc. The location is perfect. Very close to the subway. Lots of shops restaurants around. Close to subway and eateries. Location was decent Friendly staff. Great location. They took the time to assist any question a first timer needed to ask. The subway map and explaining how to read it was really helpful. Well located, very clean place, quite cheappared of the other possibilities in Manhattan. The living space service is great ! The TV and the wireless were great ! Nice getaway spot for the weekend. Price is reasonable and within the upper west side neighborhood. Very convenient because the 123 trains are only around the corner. The location was great. The beds were alsofortable. Hotel was in a good location, a little out of the city centre. Nice Shops and restaurants near by and subway very close. Located right next to a major subway entrance. Near Central Park Friendly staff. Answered a lot of questions and very helpful with getting grocery around the hotel. New York is crowded and tight but the beds and rooms were clean beyond what I was used to for New York. We lost our 2 bed, bedroom the next day because I forgot to extend our stay but the employees was gracious enough to get us a living space with a bunk bed which was nothing like the dingy ones you see in casual hostels. It could sleep two well because my girls are small and living space though small had a heater and TV. My girls thought it was cool to pay half for it so they could use the cash to shop. Sharing the bathroom is never cool but it was clean and we only had a day to use it. Overall, a nice quiet stay within the middle of the city that never sleeps. Close to Central Park, a $25 Uber to Times square. Next to all the sights in Harlem where we wanted because I have friends who have lived there for over 30 years. Bed was clmfortable, employees helpful 24 7, location was perfect. Close to Central Park, Times Square by using metro, Hudson River etc. Priceeee was nice ; The front work area employees is excellent and very amodating to my requests. The living space was clean and quiet. I have already booked my second

πŸ‘Ž The lobby and halls could use a carpet cleaning. there wasn t something that I didn t like I also liked the towels lol The building temperature was TOO HOT all the time. We had to ask to please put more shampoo on the shared bathroom I didn t like themon area where the fridge and microwave were - microwave was very dirty, I didn t dare to heat my food there : There are no kitchen facilities; no sink, counter, table, kettle...... so that one could not prepare food properly. The place looks sleezy because it needs to be thoroughly cleaned ... halls, elevator, fridge. Old carpet makes it look dirty. Shower on 4th floor was burning hot.... had to keep turning tap to find medium temperature.... Tap kept going back to hot. thing........👎 Our living space was next to the floor door and was very noisy. - Dirtiest place I ve ever been so far, and I ve travelled a lot, you just couldn t step into the bathroom.- The living space was cold, the heat was broken and they didn t fix it though I told them. They just gave me a blanket.- Ufortable and tiny bed.- You could hear the other guests in their rooms.- The employees didn t show hospitality.- They make you pay to save your baggages for a couple of hours after the check out. I wouldn t evere back here. the construction on the street when I moved in but it was gone by the time I went to sleep and that s not the hotel s fault. Also, I asked for a quiet room, but even tho I got one on the street, the windows are fairly soundproof so I slept fine. The hotel is very dated. I was bothered by the loud noise the radiator pipes were making within the wall. Had to sleep with earplugs and even that didn t help that much. Poor customer service, had to change living space due to individual bath breaking but I had to insist a living space change. They did not offer. I had to ask for fresh towels. The shower did not work. When advised at check out, the desk attendant s answer was to have a nice day. The bed was clearly old and worn. thing The living space was very small, you need to be aware of that. About 5m². The living space was extremely cold, we were freezing the whole time. The windows are so old and so bad, the wind was blowing inside the room. It was nothing like on the pictures, the living space was extra small. The hotel does not look like it does within the pictures, rooms are tired looking and bathrooms are old and dated. Walls are very thin so noise is a problem. Our living space was meant to have a sink in but on arrival it was a totally different to the picture and no sink. Room was serviced each day and clean towels provided, beds were remade but not with clean sheets. Bed was ufortable, hallways smelled bad, kind of loud, and the toilet kept clogging up. Hard to say. It was a 3 day stay and it could have been the shared bath and toilet but never saw it dirty. i would hope it is cleaned more than once a day. If you’re traveling alone better if you book double living space and pay a little bit more. Otherwise you may get small living space with bunk bed, next to vending machine and pipes. Was a little too loud and I couldn’t do anything about it. ; The fridge within the lobby that ismunal needs to be cleaned out more often!!! Other than that is a great stay for international students like myself!! Rooms were small. heat. Gave me portable heater that did bot work and was pulling out electricity and turning out lights. Had to ask employees r

πŸ‘ Had a double living space with in-room bathromm with my girlfriend. There s not much beside a bed, a bathroom and a decent breakfast. If you are looking for something cheap in Manhattan and just want a place to sleep, I would definitely rmend this. Fun location with loads of transit options within a few blocks. I had a individual living space with a shared bathroom. The shared showers and toilets are all in individual rooms, so it doesn t feel like a public facility with other peopleing and going. It was good value for money, very quiet and friendly environment. Staff were helpful and nice, the Wi-Fi was excellent and everywhere was always clean. I would stay here again. I was there for 4 nights and the employees were very helpful and it was very clean. The bathroom separate from my bedroom was clean and normally free of cost when I wanted it. Very well located, Three-4 blocks from the subway and walking distance from most touristic sights. It s better than any other hostel I ve stayed in. Air conditioning and individual bathroom for 4 bed dorm was a huge plus! The Metro stop to line E is not far away. The only good thing of this Hostel is the location. According to the rest: dirty, noisy and very ufortable. The doors do not close. The ground is not level!!!! Room is decent and quiet. Spacious for one person and a small suitcase. Convenient location. Good value for money, can t go cheaper for a individual living space in Manhattan! Front desk afternoon duty guy is a horrible person. He treats people like dogs. When you ask him anything, he will use the most simple and insulting word. When you in a hurry, he will even makements on your manners and call you a rude guy just because you r in a hurry. The location was close to two subway stops. I booked an ensuite single room. It was furnished with the barest necessities; a bed, a chair, two lockers, and that was it. I received a list of do s and don ts and so long as I followed those, I was fine. For instance, not bringing food into the rooms. The bedsheets were clean, for the most part, and I didn t contract bed mites, so yay. The internet speeds were great and the location is the best thing about this place! All tourist spots Times Square, Greenwich Village, Broadway are a Ten-15 minute walk away. The cleaning service was great; the bins were cleaned, the floors mopped while I was away, and the lockers were securely shut and locked with my own locks, Location of property is good Breakfast ok But no amenities Actually nothing. It’s not the best location, but the subway is only three blocks away , STAFF, BREAKFAST, CLEANLINESS. The location was nice. The employees was polite and friendly. Breakfast was decent. The location was really good. it was a very good experience, loved the place the employees and the hostel were super clean and really satisfied for me, I ll definitely go again. Good value for a two bed room. I didn t explore much but it was nice to have the lockers kn hand andmon living space First, it s location is unbeatable if u wish 2 stay in Chelsea and Midtown area of Manhattan. Second, my 2 beds dormitory living space was veryfort bed wise wide, area wise, Locker wise not small, air-condition wise automatic on all times as June is hotnhumid, with ensuite basin. The toilet and bathroom were just next door. Third, the dining area was pleasant with a TV playing amusing morning meal

πŸ‘Ž The saggy mattress hurt my back and I couldn t sleep with the A C on too loud and cold blowing straight at your head, but woke up multiple times a night because I was too hot. The morning meal was okay bagel, fruit, cereal, but felt stingy as you exchanged your ticket for one bagel, one piece of fruit, one pat of butter, and one packet--no cream cheese. I understand rationing the bagels and fruit so people don t pack a lunch, but setting out jars of jam and cream cheese tubs would raise the quality of morning meal a lot.. I was put street side and it was noisy at night, but a good pair of earplugs solved that! Also, the cleaners banged on my door daily at 6am when cleaning the toilet. For the price, nothing. The living space was like a prison cell: a bed, a locker, a shelf and a sink. A sign read: Don´t open the window, the air conditioner might fall down ?!?The morning meal was one marmelade, a slice of butter, a bagel, a banana and coffee:all in disposables. that means trash, trash, trash. Knife, fork and spoon: plastic! Shower took a while to heat up.t a big problem in summer. The noise from the street was really bad. Hostel should provide ear plugs. Also the water dripping from air conditioners on higher floors on my window was maddening, it was very hard to sleep! Horrible horrible employees The shared showers: 1. the shower floor needs to be cleaned more than once per day, and 2. the showers need coat hooks to hang clothing and towels while you shower, and a small shelf to set your toiletries The bedsheets could ve been cleaner. I discovered hair on the bedsheets and the pillow cover which I covered by placing a towel I d brought with me. I only brought in food once and that was to pack with me my sister wanted me to bring back cookies from Levain Bakery, and I caught two little roaches within the bathroom which I instantly killed. So, my advice is to follow the instructions you get and you ll be okay. The bed was not veryfortable but I honestly wasn t expecting it to be. The living space I had was at the very high of a very winding staircase and provided me with a roof over my head, which was all I needed : Check in reception not professional. internet They don t clean the rooms during stay or change bed sheets although I stayed 5 nights It was like a jail room. Small, noforts at all, pricey and humid, without any chance to refresh the air opening the windows blocked. Air conditioner super noisy, I had to switch it off during the night. Shared toilet wasn t properly working. I got there early and the person at the front work area didn’t check if my living space was ready, so I could check in. He did that for the guy in line ahead of me, but told me toe back later instead. Although they say not to make loud noises after 10pm, there’s a courtyard always filled with people and it’s impossible to sleep before midnight and past 7am. Also somebody turned on some music at 3am just outside of my bedroom and nobody said a word. ACCESS TO THE ROOM. WAS NOT ABLE TO BRING SUIT CASES TO THE THIRD FLOOR . fortunately WAS A PAY STORAGE AVAILABLE IN THE BASEMENT. WiFi was slow. The living space is a small for two people to walk around. The kitchen closes at 11pm which makes it unable to grab a late night snack. Is expensive like everything in NY. My living space was within the first floor and was next to the trash cans. So the smell was not that good. i liked everything.
