👍 We stay here for thefort of the location by train. The living space size and layout are very good. Very spacious living space andfortable table to work at. Great location, and nicely appointed rooms. Veryfortable bed, and we were given a late check out without even asking for it. We were also given a card to cash in at the hotel shop for treats and groceries - that was a nice touch and meant we could have a light morning meal without buying the expensive morning meal option. The location was outstanding. The hotel was so large that you could hardly believe you were in NYC. Veryfortable. Large rooms. Great staff, extreamly at the market. Perfect for conferences. The proximity of the hotel to everywhere I needed to be was amazing. The bed was prettyfortable. Oh and the bar soap was REALLY nice! I m a sucker for good bathing soap or gel I think I had the best so far at the hotel. The rooms looked great, the beds were nice. There was a little bit of a learning curve to use the shower but it was fine. In all, a great hotel. Keep in mind there isnt any amenities other than a gym, lounge, and bar. The overall hotel looked great. Staff was friendly. Hotel was in a great location. The location is the best. Hop off the train and right to the room, from the living space to the subway in 2 minutes. The lobby market was convenient. The living space was large and bathroom was nice. Great location and you can get a great workout within the gym. Some employees members very friendly and helpful. Great location, decor, amenities. Comfortable bed. Plenty of plugs. Market, art in lobby. It was my 2nd time there. Location was fine. we could access all the places we wanted to go easily. I CAN T BELIEVE ANY HOTEL COULD AFFORD THE GORGEOUS STATUES IN THE LOBBY! they are extra-ordinaire and totally wow me when ie to your hotel. their peaceful demeanor makes me feel all is well. Great hotel, great location, the employees were very friendly! The bar employees were awesome. Had an amazing time within the city, this hotel and its location just made it even better! The hotel and employees itself are great and the locations is amazing. Location just next to Grand Central Location was great. The living space was spacious. The staffs were friendly. The employees were very helpful and responded promptly to needs. The location is great and the living space size was great as well as the temperature. Location was great, very close to Grand Central Station and Bryant Park. Quite spaciouspared to other hotels in Manhattan. Hotel lobby was quite stunning as well even though it was not as grandeur as other usual Grand Hyatt hotels in other countries, as far as I know. Location, market facilities, spacious, fortable thing about the property neither the employees nor the services It had a bed... location was ok... that’s about it. Bedfy, employees very nice Every time I visit NYC the hotels tend to be really old and very small rooms, even if they have been updated. The Hyatt had very sizable rooms and the location couldn t be beat. You could quickly get to Grand Central, Fifth Avenue, Times Square, Bryant Park and many other locales. Good location Great spacious living space for NY. Good location The hotel features a 15$ allowance daily for morning meal or dinner at the local market. This allow flexibility on our plans Great location. 10 minute walk from t
👎 The bathroom sink didn t drain. The tub didn t hold much water. The mattress was way too soft. The automatic fan within the bathroom was annoying And when within the shower when it was needed it didn’t run! The property is big and the lifts can’t really cope with the volume of people. We waited around 5 minutes for a down lift, and within the end gave up and took the stairs - we were on the 25th floor, so that was a pain. When you arrive at the hotel, the hotel requires that you pay an additional $30 per day as a hotel fee. You get a $10 credit at the bar--which I paid each day but didn t use at all because I don t regularly drink. And you get a $15 credit at their market. We used that everyday, but we might have gone elsewhere if weren t require to essentially prepay the daily amount to the market. You also get charged $3 per bag for the hotel to hold your bags while you wait on your living space to be ready or if you need to be there after the checkout. The prepayment let s you avoid that fee for one day, but that s silly. I thought that the hotel was terrific. But I hated that I was not aware of this daily charge when I booked. I think it s questionable if they are even allowed to do it. Once you are there, you don t have a choice but to pay it or you are charged for the living space anyway. I really found it to be repugnant. And a noticeable blemish on an otherwise delightful hotel experience. I upgraded to a suite for almost double what I paid. I walked into what I expected for a regular room. Apparently I have no idea what suite means. Also, the floors were so slippery my girlfriend fell to her knees when walking on the laminate. It was not fun. The wallpaper and art within the living space was wacky, but I can live with that because the likes outweighed the dislikes by far. Customer service was hit and miss. Some employees members were very helpful and friendly, but the overall vibe is impersonal. phone for the front work area just an automated server that goes nowhere if calling in from the outside. Your wife’s key stops working, but that too bad she is not listed on the reservation she has to wait until you get back. Try to call to assist it’s the automated server. You want a cup of coffee within the restaurant? To bad if you aren’t ordering food get a cup at the market. Slow and crowded elevators. You have to pay the property to watch your bags. Next time I’ll pony up the cash for a 5 star hotel. Sad to hear on the news it would be closing due to development within the next few yrs. http: via. pix11. ugTC7I wish rooms had fridges. I have bought or ordered more food if they did. First, I am new to New York. Two days before I check in to the Grand HyattI was watching a documentary about Trump, and came to know about the Commodore Hotel and what Trump had to do with the hotel to make it survive; this is back within the seventies. If it was not for the Publicity within the documentary, I would have never considered Grand Hyatt!Entering the hotel feels like entering an old mall. The Lobby is very busy. Checking in makes you feel like you are in-line for a free of cost meal. The employees make you feel like you are a FedEx package being checkedin to be stored somewhere within the Hotel. The living space has wooden floors, but it looks as if it is being used by an ice skater. The automatic blinds are not working. Chair is in bad shape. The concierge is useless, extreamly when I asked them for help to find me a medical facility near by to v

👍 Location was great and curbside service was most helpful. The location was the best part of the entire hotel Staff were really friendly The bar and restaurant was very good, and so was the butcher and banker, and tick tock. Location is great, clean. Location The hotel is 100 that NYC classic Art Deco style so if that fits your sensibilities then you are in for a treat. The rooms were clean andfortable which is mostly the only thing I care about. The cleaning employees is legit. Things are a bit old, but that lends to the charm of the place and overall I slept well and will certainly book here again for next business trips. For the price, I can t imagine getting better in NYC. The WiFi is great - honestly made working from my living space very convenient. My view was sensational. Elevators are efficient. Bedfortable. Water hot and full stream. Excellent WiFi. Excellent location just at Penn Station. The employees at the front work area was amazing. Our living space was upgraded to a HUGE suite with a balcony!!! The living space was amazing, very clean and the bed wasfortable. Great location. Couldn’t ask for better. I’m a fan of the TV show Tesla. Had to see the hotel. Con Ed is a customer of mine. Would love to get a tour of the power plant some day during a future stay. Everything was great. Always felt safe. But not expecting an extra $30 a night facility fee. We didn t use wi-fi or fitness room. We never were told what that was for and it was not mentioned on booking.. Proximity to Javits location Loved the dinner that s connected to the hotel. Love the history. Love the view. I’ve lost track of how many times I have stayed at the New Yorker. It’s an easy walk from Penn Station and the Megabus stops, and near major subway lines and the convention center. The employees are always pleasant, despite the hotel being one of the most busy I’ve ever seen. On most visits, my living space is available early, and is clean andfortable. Location The location is excellent. The location, both to e-thing around mid Manhattan, Madison Square Garden, Penn station, restaurants, shopping etc. Hotel is centrally located, beside Penn Station which is convenient if travelling to JFK. Staff were excellent and helpful. Rooms werefortable and clean. The employees was amazing, and it was within walking distance from the train station. The bed was veryfortable, and the tub was huge. The thermostat gave us some trouble on the first night, but after that we got the hang of it. To my usual standards the living space was tiny, but I believe that was usual for the local. Great view of Empire State Building Hotel was incredibly close to all things including penn stop Times Square etc. Front desk employees was very friendly and security as well. I was givenplimentary upgrade and checkout because it was my birthday. Also, living space was clean and bedfortable. The front work area employees upgraded our living space without me even asking. We had a view of the WTC and The Hudson River. The house keeping employees kept our living space near and clean and provided us with everything we needed. Upgraded to an executive double with a view. Definitely worth it. And with the exec living space you get a coffee machine. The diner Tic Toc is attached and great for morning meal or a late supper. Linda on front work area was super lovely and helpful. John over by the Concierge was a star and will sort you
👎 The living space was unusually tiny, and the bathroom was quite small. Room was quiet during the night. The extras that most hotels offerplimentary were expensive here. I ve never heard of $50. for early check-in and $5. a bag to hold luggage. And why does this hotel add on a resort charge? It’s very small, tv didn’t work and it wasn’t the cleanest... however, the bed was quitefortable, please make sure you check for clean sheet first tea coffee making facility within the room paint chipping within the shower, living space was extremely small, loud drafty windows, needs an update, plus when someone within the adjacent living space flushed the toilet or took a shower there was a absolutely HORRIBLE noise in our room. It’s tired and living space are in need of refurbishment. Bed size in suite was poor - two very small doubles. The windows also need replaced - drafting in My only realplaint is that their showers are horrible. Everything is clean, but the water pressure, consistent water temperature, and shower heads are bad. I felt that I was trying to fit myself under a small stream of water varying from scolding or freezing me at unpredictable intervals. Really not something I would normallyment on, but it is legit bad. Simply changing the shower heads would probably be a great improvement. The hotel is big and serves a lot of guests. If you need to get the attention of someone on employees then plan to wait 20 minutes or more during the day. I m not one to require much tending to, but I had a rather annoying interaction with the concierge. I found them to be a bit dismissive. Also, because of the crowded nature of the lobby, returning to your living space requires showing your living space key which is fine, but it s not so hosting on that front. The living space was quite nice - I had queen with individual bathroom. That being said, the walls are a bit thin so you will hear some chatter from other rooms and the hallway. thing missing here. issues whatever. The bathroom sink was clogged. The shower head didn’t fit properly within the holder and there was mold within the shower. Made me question cleanliness of everything. Shower in living space was very poor - no water pressureBedside Light in living space did not work properly reported and was told someone would visit and fix it but no one bothered - poor standards. Room was cold and drafty and small. But keep in mind it is a historical hotel. I don’t think guests should be charged $5 per bag when their living space is not ready or for a few hours after checkout and before their train. I don’t like the hidden resort fees, although the rate was better than most even when that was added in. Pretty old hotel, some floors are used as dormitory!, very crowded elevators, employees friendly, needs renovation in bathrooms and needs carpet replacement in hallways; smells old. Requested and paid for a living space with a city view from it was my son s first short trip to NYC. Our view overlooked the backyard... And when I pointed this out to the employees it was left ignored. City noise - but it s the same in each big city... Staff stole my uggs and when I went to discuss the situation someone next to me was reporting employees stealing their stuff too! Security made me hold because they where dealing with 3 other customers withplaints... seems like it’s a regular habit! plimentary breakfast. Room was a little small to my standards. coffee tea facilities - we reque

👍 morning meal excellent but expensive I love this hotel. I couldnt believe that it could be this nice. Location, people. the view; everything. Bed was veryfortable, great location, bellman service was exceptional, spa and fitness centre were lovely. The entire employees were great: personable, helpful. The concierge, ureddine Lakhlif, provided extreamly great, personalized service with a polished, hosting smile. We loved the location, the spacious rooms, the amenities, and the places to have a drink within the evening and coffee within the morning. Wonderful location with a beautiful view of the city skyline and St. patrick’s Cathedral. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful hotel. Would stay there again. morning meal was great and the employees was exceptional. we had a problem my friend fell and could not get up and we called security and they were right there to assist and the employees and extreamly the manager were fantastic. Great experience. Great room. Heated floor in foyer. Beautiful Bathroom. Beautiful place. Largefortable and well appointed rooms, great bars, easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We walked to Broadway plays two nights with ease. The location was probably the best part. I also enjoyed all the Christmas decorations as well as the Santa letter response to my daughter. That was a big plus. Location is perfect. Service and personnel are very nice, very professional. Hotel is clean and well maintained. In general the stay was good. The Christmas decor was gorgeous, as was the Villard restaurant. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The location couldn t have been better. Right within the middle of the main shopping area and close to Central Park and Times Square. The employees really make this hotel nothing is too much trouble and they always greet you with a smile. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful especially so over Christmas. The beds are veryfortable and the cocktails at the bar excellent. Everything s very 1st class. The location is great. The building and the formal rooms Rarities and the morning meal living space within the old Le Cirque within the original mansion are beautiful. Waheed, the bellman is great. The Room Service waiter was very nice. The doormen were nice and helpful. The scenery from our free of cost upgraded rooms were absolutely stunning at day and night. The location was also brilliant to get around New York. George has been there to wee me back as soon as I get out my car for over 20 years The hotel is beautiful full of the Christmas spirit The employees are all there just to make your short trip a wonderful oneGreat location a block from everything Every living space features abeautiful view Beautiful, elegant romantic hotel!!!! The only issue we had which was our fault was arriving on the Madison Avenue side via Uber with luggage. They handled it very quickly by sending bellman to carry our luggage down the stairs. Maybe just how full the lobby was the last day that we were there. Elevators are impossible as they stop at each floor. You could wait long time if you are at a lower floorBeds need improvement, as mattresses are old. The worst if you request a car service is 3 times the price within the market for the same service. At this time internet should be included within the rate. Found employees unhelpful and quite rude. Twice living space service was cold and it wasn’t replaced or reomoved from the bill. Housekeeping was very poor often leaving living space without towels or clean glasses. Will not be returning. Dont like the extra prices which seem cheap and unnecessary. They charge $15 for wireless , They add 15 percent for restaurants. I thought it wouldn t bother us that there was no lunch dinner restaurant within the hotel, but it actually did. It features abar, a lounge and a tavern, but nowhere to take the kids to eat. I also was shocked not to have coffee within the living space or even free of cost coffee within the lobby for the high price we were paying. Charging guests for WiFi ispletely unnecessary. We had morning meal both in our living space and within the Villiard - I had read good things but was disappointed by the average food dry potatoes and small portions. Although the restaurant itself is beautiful. One of the security guards asked my wife to quit sitting the steps. He could have done it in a much better way then you can t sit there. 👍 Location and ambiance was great for the sites I visited. Many great restaurants and Starbucks within the area. I would stay again if traveling alone. We were treated awfully on check in and were given living space number 911 with the receptionist laughing as she gave us this number. The living space was disgusting, under the mattress and behind the bed was grey with dust. We were moved and there were black hairs and yellow stains all over the bath. The roof terrace and outside area and restaurant were all closed. I would not rmend staying here Huge living space deluxe double with 2x double beds location central at Columbus Circle and on the corner of the park really nice hosting employees with excellent bars. Fridge inside room. Great location, fortable and nice looking living space and friendly staff. Very centrally located hotel. Besides the guy we had upon arrival at the reception desk, all other employees members were nice. A special 5* rating for the concierge lady who was very helpful in tracking our shuttle van towards the airport! Overall an OK experience, with the best rating for what regards location. The hotel was for my son and his buddy. They are up anding musicians and had a lot of engagements to attend. I was not present however I believe Location Location Location was great. These boys are of good character and mannerly. I did speak to management reservations Pryor the trip. Being that I would not be present at check in. I signed a form viaputer All went well. As any NY hotel room, very small but it did the job! Very small bathroom with no privacy, as the wall facing the living space was glass. So make sure you are very close to whoever you are sharing the living space with : The living space was lovely andfortable and quiet, and very clean. A fantastic place to stay in Manhattan. The furnace made an awful racket!! We got a living space change which was great, but the new living space furnace made noise as well. A big thing for us was the super expensive breakfast. It was nothing hot. For $27 a person, I expected something good. Fruit loops and warm orange juice on cafeteria trays don’t cut it. Staff was super friendly and helpful!! Room was clean and nice!! The hotel is very well located. All major trains run from Columbus Circle. Central Park is just around the corner, a Whole Foods is located within the basement of the Time Warners shopping mall. My living space was clean and nicely designed. It s a bit dark due to the wood panels on the walls and a dark curtain that ceils off the window. The employees tries their best to be as friendly and helpful as they can, but the hotel is extremely busy and everything seems a bit hectic and in a rush. The streets are noisy. There is a lot of construction going on within the neighbourhood. Bring ear plugs if you can. If you get a good a deal this is a convenient place otherwise it might seem a bit pricy. Room very basic. fridge or tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was tiny. draws or anywhere to put your clothes. The beds werefortable, great location, and nice vibe once inside the hotel. Very relaxing. The lobby The plumbing in our living space on the first night was extremely noisy, waking us multiple times. When weplained the employees informed us this was to be expected in an old hotel but agreed to change our room. Nice location near to columbus circle. The Hudson features agreat location and still maintains vibe from the original design. The st
👎 Room size and bathroom were very tight. I bumped my head on the wall when using the bathroom. If the living space were one to two feet wider can’t be changed it would be perfect. First living space hadn t been serviced, and there was a strong pungent smell of marijuana within the corridors. Unable to turn the air con on lower if the living space temperature was set. The restaurant was under renovation - it s one of the reasons I booked this hotel. I would have liked a coffee machine within the room, or maybe by the eating area on the floor. Extremely small rooms we had to turn down the first living space they offered us because we could hardly enter the room. Although the second living space was more acceptable size-wise, the bathroom remained ridicoulesly small and this was a so-said queen-size upgraded room. The employees member who weed us on arrival was border-line rude not friendly nor helpful when enquiring about morning meal inclusion. Regarding breakfast, the latter one was of very low quality for the 20 USD asking price. We only had one morning meal on the first morning and then always had morning meal outside the hotel for a cheaper and better quality. I had requested that we have an earlier check in for their plane arrived at airport or airdrome at 10:30am. They had somewhere to be and I did not want them to have to deal with luggage. However, the living space was not prepared. The hotel did allow them to keep their stuff there while they attended their 1st meeting. I wish I could have had 2 Queen beds but the price was not worth it. I would have thought a morning meal would have been provided. The only negativement I have is that there wasn t coffee within the room, but that may be the norm with American hotels – I don t know! Anyway, the diner on the corner was excellent, so it was no problem. See above. I stayed at the Hudson, when it was pretty cold with temperatures below 10 Fahrenheit -13 Celsius. My heating was broken, unfortunately, the hotel didn t have another living space on offer, instead I received a refund of 150 USD. I was also offered to leave the hotel with a full refund ... not sure, if these were the best options. But, the employees was friendly at all times. The air con unit was broken The bathrooms a little dated and no counter space. views. They classed me as a no show despite us letting them know that I would be arriving early morning. Staff were rude about it, we were charged extra, my living space was downgraded and terrible. The lobby is deceitful - nice and big, rooms are small, cramped, dark decor and they don’t even have a main light so you can’t see anything. amenities such as bottles of water, everything was badly fittied, I had plug sockets that looked unfinished and there weren’t plug sockets by the bed. Housekeeping are loud and disruptive within the day - I know most people are up and out but when you have landed from an early flight some people might want a few hours slee and that’s basically impossible with the noise. I think they advertise the hotel very differently to what it is - god knows which rooms you have to buy to get what you see within the photos. Only benefit is the location which is probably why they get away with the inside feeling like a hostel. The living space was small, the window glasses were dusty, the floor was spoiled, and the radiator had a lot of rust. The shampoo and body soap bottles were dirty and reused. The interior it’s wearing out elevators, corridors and ne

👍 Very good location. Liked the idea of the wee drink. this kind of got you settled in to observe your surroundings Everything was on hand. Maybe another coffee deck or larger shop for water etc Location -fortable beds - fast elevators Loved the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. We felt very wee andfortable. During our stay we loved the location, the amenities included and the living space was a great price for the size and my 2 guests and I had plenty of space. Convenience of location, helpful personnel, fort, cleanliness and quiet of the room. The towels and toiletries provided were very nice. Pleasant bar to enjoy a drink and snack with great view. Location is fantastic, on times square itself. The Gym is also very large and a range of equipment. Perfect for starting off the day before heading out for brunch. Location. Nice room. Convenient location for theaters Convenient to everything! Hotel restaurant was really good. The living space had a lovely view .Bed was veryfortable. The location was ideal,The It was convenient I liked the overall size of the living space and bathroom. The bed was very cozy. Great location Very convenient, very clean, friendly helpful staff. decent place to stay with kids. The rooms were absolutely so clean....Very clean. - Great Housekeeping Staff!!! Very friendly and of course, the rooms showed the professional job of the cleaning staff. Everything was in place and exceptional!!!A Great BIG Thank You because my son is a germphobic and he was extremelyfortable! The employees was very friendly and amodated all of my requests. The employees at the front work area was excellent and our waiter Tony was superb.. so friendly and amodating. The location is superb and the room, other than see the next response, was fine. Location that’s all Clean hotel room, constant cleaning of the rooms, nice amenities. Had a slight issue with the thermostat but employees was very friendly ande up with a portable heater which did the trick. Room was pretty basic. For the name I was expecting it to be a bit fancier. View of time square was cool! Breakfast was included and was 2nds worthy! Checkin and out was quick even with a line. They also let me extend my checkout for no extra charge! All in all I would stay there again and would rmend! Location right within the middle of everythingfort of bed and restaurant down stairs, food was overall good! Had a late flight they kept our living space till one the day of the flight downstairs kept the luggage until our flight left. Rooms were great and the location is right within the middle of times square so close to everything! The employees were all very pleasant and amodating. I d stay again!! Great central Location. The living space was clean and the bedfortable, with an amazing city view! The employees was so helpful when I needed bandaids after scraping my knee outside, and also delivered robes to our living space promptly when we requested them. And morning meal was excellent! The location is great. The beds and all the pillows were reallyfortable. The fact that they have a fitness center right there and you could workout for free of cost was really nice. It literally was only 20 steps from my living space to the gym. The employees at check in were really friendly. On my checkout day I called down to ask for a later checkout and they let me stay until 1pm wit
👎 Didn t like the black curtain on the way in from broadway. Would prefer if this was an automatic Revolving door. This was kind of dangerous when not tied and the wind was blowing. Also it was impossible to see if another person was approaching when the curtains were not tied. It also seems that anybody could just walk in at any time.t sure how secure it was if I was just with another female. there were no issues but on reflection it appeared to be very open all the time. Also didn t like the idea of having to give a deposit, I think this is a waste of time for employees and guests. the greater part of personnel don t damage the rooms and if they do it is an accident and they would be very willing to replace pay for damages. This could be embarrassing and off putting to stay here again for this reason extreamly for older personnel as they don t understand that this deposit will not be taken immediately but only if there is damages. So it can be very confusing and a bad start to the holiday. Also younger people may not have this spare cash available to them. Rooms were drafty and in serious need of renovation. Carpets disgusting, beds were old and yucky. Basically, a gross experience felt like a Two-star at a crowded bus station Entrance very dark - unfriendly employees - rooms clean but not very bigpared to other hotelsIf you had to pay full price this hotels is not worth its cash or reputation The paper supplies were substandard. Sometimes it is the little things that make a difference. Service in lounge area. Had to wait 30 minutes to have a beer delivered. The waiter forgot the order. Then I was charged 30 dollars for a mandatory gratuity and service charge. What ani insult! Also within the lounge at the next sofa was a women who smoked pot for the entire time she was there. Terrible odor for 30 minutes. Room was too hot. Could not reduce it any further. Had toplain to get sufficient tea for room. Resort fees are a hidden cost. Asked for adjoining rooms.... our rooms were back to back... and one of our rooms had a door to adjoin living space on the other side ofir😳 It never got above 71degrees within the living space and it was cold the whole time even tho we had it set for 78 The escalator to take us down to the ground floor was not working for several days, and I had to ask for a blanket to be left within the room. The city living space faced another part of the hotel and very little city. Upon asking to change room, We didn’t even receive an answer. Heating didn’t work. answer on the phone. The price came to over 100more. Said free of cost internet free of cost two drinks and free of cost local calls but you are charged 30 in service fees, so it’s not really free. Tv remote did not work called for another never got it, so we could not watch tv. They made no attempt to satisfy us at checkout. I didn t like that employees insisted I buy shower caps for my children and myself in order to get into the most non-kid friendly pool I ve ever seen. Needless to say I did not purchase the shower caps just to go swimming as it is supposed to be included within the stay, and my children were greatly disappointed being that was the main reason we chose this hotel. We wanted to go swimming for a little while and couldn t. Also our living space was right next to the elevator 2312, and you could hear the loud noises of the elevator all night. Did not know that pool time had to be booked before going to th

👍 Location, friendly staff, resort fee value, facilities, bed was veryfortable, housekeeping was very kind and helpful. Location was not too far from the crowded areas and still not too close. Ideal location for a peaceful stay. All other facilities were average and pretty neat and clean. The view to the city was amazing! I was able to see the Empire State Building! Lots of nice little touches. One night I woke sick, and the front work area directed me to the 24 hr pharmacy only next door. Came back, had some chamomile tea with my medicine and went to sleep. After meetings next day, I came back to the living space and there were extra chamomile tea bags waiting for me. Nice and thoughtful. Pillows We were on the 38th floor and had the most beautiful view of the Empire State Building. They also cleaned our living space everyday, even when we left after lunch time. It’s was also my wedding day while we were staying there and MOST of the employees were lovely and gave us a lot of congratulations. Location was great and the front work area guy, Gus, was just the highlight of my stayHe went above and beyond Overall it was a pleasant stay and met all my expectations. Room was very clean andfortable. Front desk employees when checking out was superb! She went above and beyond my expectations. We only had drinks. Waitress wasn’t friendly and didn’t get our drinks in a timely manner. Very kind staff. Beds were superfortable. Courtesy late check out. THE VIEW IS AMAZING!!!!!! We could see the Chrysler Building from our living space and it was spectacular. The bed was huge andfy and a really amazing living space to stay in. Beautiful clean and pleasant hotel. Sandra the concierge was absolutely the best. Great directions. Sent balloons and cake to our living space for granddaughters birthday. We stayed on 36th floor. Room was quiet except for emergency vehicles but could not ask for a better experience. Thank you Room veryfortable and liked decor. Convenient location, huge roomspared to other hotels In the city, I arrived early and was thrilled to be able to check in early. Located on 42nd Street this is a fantastic location to explore New York and all of the tourist attractions.Used the fitness center facilities and new bar area to relax in after a days shopping Excellent location, very clean andfortable. Staff at front work area very nice and helpful. Great base from which to see Manhattan. Lots of restaurants nearby. Checking out and leaving for another hotel Good location. The hotel is nice, hotel employees is nice, clean. Lovely room. Comfortable bed location is great and the large rooms are nice. Room wasfortable. Good location. The living space was clean. I enjoyed thefort of the location close to Grand Central Station. The hotel was very nice and the employees were all very helpful, friendly, and respectful. I look forward to staying at this hotel again if and when I revisit New York! Achieving expected standards. Location was great - pretty close to a subway station Overall our stay wasfortable. Location was good, walking distance to a lot of my favourite sites. What I liked best was the price, I literally paid half of what each other hotel wanted for that weekend. For the amount of time you spend in a hotel in NYC I thought it was excellent! Comfortable bed We loved everything else. The roo
👎t much. The bath tub was patched, otherwise facilities were in good shape. Very stubborn about the check out time even though I checked in around midnight. It would’ve been nice to have a shuttle bus pick us up from the airport. Feels like they skimp on accoutrements. shoe horn in living space for example. A few more higher end touches would have been nice. We we re forced to pay for food and dry cleaning service that we didn t want, at the tune of 55$. I asked if I could decline this and was told no.t only that, but by making the reservation on line, I could not cancel or make changes to the reservation. They essentially trpped us, and stole fifty five dollars. Can you imagine going to a restaurant and being told that you must pay for an expensive dessert, whether you want it or not- just because you sat down to eat? And also, if you wanted to leave before ordering you would still be charged!! How is this practice legal!! OUTRAGEOUS. We will never go to a Westin again even though it was a nice room. Disgusting. They make things soplicated, you get a certain fee everyday to eat in their hotel but even if you don’t eat there you still pay. You also have to pay for dry cleaning everyday. We didn’t mind this at all but they need to make it more clear, we heard several people asking about it because they were just as confused as us. The bathroom within the living space can use a remodeling, tub looked dirty The food within the hotel needs to be improved and the elevators are always loaded with travelers. Bartender within the hotel restaurant didn t know how to make basic cocktails without looking them up. The elevators were broken so it took forever to get out of the building. The parking is expensive for the amount you pay for your living space and fees. Dumpsters were emptied at 1:30am. Elevators were painfully slow at times. Needed to take the stairs. Window cleaning at the time so we couldn t have the shades open but no big deal! Overall the facility is ok, but clearly starting to show signs of age. There was a fire scare while we were there that was kept under wraps. Pretty scarey to stay in a hotel that had a fire that was never reported, yet we could tell there was one when we went into the stairwell to ascend floors, then were quickly escorted out of the stairwell due to the electrical Smokey smell. Slow elevators but this was temporary due to a small issue with one of the ovens on 4th floor. Absolutely no food anywhere after 11. living space service. Shop is closed. nothing in bar. Poor service within the bar. Check on wait was a tad bit long. There was a 55 dollar charge when I checked in that I have no idea the reason for. I had prepaid for the room. The front work area was rude. We asked to have a nice living space with a view, they gave us a horrible view of the tunnel. We asked for early check in and instead had an incredibly late check in. Just awful all around. There is a $25 per day goal fee. Be sure to use it as credit within the restaurant living space service or else you loose it if not used on the day. Extremely Rude man at Receptionpletely put me off from staying there so I cancelled my stay after 1 night and switched hotels! Service less than prompt. Besides, they kept charging my card for no rhyme or reason! This is my second stay and they keep doing this until I have to call them. Rude restaurant bar hostess not the bar

👍 The location was good 15 min walks from most main attractions, and the good coffee I the lobby It look exactly like the photos. I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the rooms and the amenities of the facilities. The location also is absolutely ideal in providing proximity to places of interest. I could also always get a taxi with help from the doorman which was very helpful on busy mornings. The location is excellent. I like the hall on the ground floor, I like the rooms, sleep quality is good, I like the design of the hotel and I love your bar and live jazz. Look forward to see the renovated bar. Lobby design and style is gorgeous. While a little east of main attractions, location is very convenient and parking is nearby. I had a lovely stay at the Lexington. Checking in and out was a breeze. The reception was always friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in Midtown and was a short easy walk to the subway. The ladies who cleaned up my living space were also always very lovely. Clean, great and very friendly staff. Everyone ready to assist you and help you figure how to enjoy your time in New York city. And oh i spotted a fomous guy there. The living space was clean and the bedfortable. Front desk people were kind and friendly. Elevators generally quick. Comfortable bed. Interesting lobby. Drinks vouchers were a nice bonus as was free of cost tea and coffee within the lobby. Great location. Super foyer and mezzanine. Good free of cost coffee-although it would have been good to have been directed to this as we purchased from Starbucks for first few days as we didn’t know. Location only Staff took off the goal fee because of the late check-in and discounted a further €120 when we said we weren t entirely happy with the high cost for the tiny living space and also being locked out of our living space twice. The location is very central, 10 minute walk to 5th Avenue. It was a beautiful hotel. And it s in a great location! The mixing living space was a good place to relax after a long day. The lobby was very nicely decorated for the holidays. The location was convenient for many great sites to see. Location Nicole at the front desk, the fun hotel lobby, the bar drinks and food, the beautiful fragrant atmosphere, the drink vouchers, the free of cost coffee within the lobby . Great location and living space Great location, clean, and busy. Bar was nice. Very clean present days hotel. Perfect location blocks from everything but yet still quieter at night. Hotel had a bar If you wanted a cocktail and a Starbucks attached to it for coffee within the morning. The employees was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very good location close to all the local sights and vshopping. The living space was very clean and nicely appointed. I will return within the future. Free Starbucks each morning and tea selection, warm cider whening back from the cold. Loved the employees friendliness, the Starbucks coffee within the lobby was great and the fresh water. Room was clean and the shower within the bathroom was great. I stay here for the last 5 years and this year was the only year that things was not up to high standards Clean great location friendly helpful staff. Lovely music andmon spaces full of atmosphere andfort The lobby is nicely decorated, and they offerplimentary water sparkling and regular. clean hotel good gym Great location, easy to get around
👎 Every time the shower was being used either ours or someone next to us a loud screeching noise would wake us up it was the only annoying part! In our bathroom there was an was clothes I think was from the previous people that stayed which was nasty and your cleaning people need to check everywhere when cleaning up, and it was like a stain or something on the floor within the corner of the door to your left when you first walk within the bathroom. I missed the bar, but was told that by March it will be redone, bigger and better - so I will enjoy it next time when I will be back. Bathroom is tiny and tub showed obvious signs it is very old. Queen rooms are notfortable for hanging out in. Decor is great but no amenities stand out. Staff I dealt with werepletely ignorant about Marriott programs and rules. When we walked back to hotel at 11pm after dinner, the trash from the hotel was very close to the main door and on the sidewalk. Someone was sorting through it and the sidewalk was so bad we had to walk on the street. The bell boy was downright curt and rude when I tried to return an umbrella to him politely. He brushed me off and was condescending. A very very poor reflection of the overall image of the hotel. What s not to like? This is a great hotel and in a great place. Loved it all the way. The employees were not helpful or especially friendly. If you went to reception or asked for any information etc it was an imposition. t allowed to eat in restaurant unless you belong to a loyalty club. Toilet hadn’t been flushed when I first got to room. Walls thin... couple next door argued and I was subjected to each word. A bit more information from reception when I first arrived about how things worked, e. g. where was the free of cost coffee, what drinks could be purchased, that information was on the hotel TV Rooms were basic for the price. We paid nearly £300 a night over Christmas and expected a bit more high end luxury. Service is terrible, very expensive in terms of what you get, Our credit card is pre authorized for extra 500 Dollars without informing us. Check in was late, we were meant to check-in from 4pm but we didnt get into our living space until 8pm and we were exhausted, especially our 7 year old. We were also locked out of our living space twice. The traffic noise and siren noise was very loud from our living space on the 9th floor, not sure what the noise is like on higher floors. They did not cater for gluten intolerant guests so we had to eat out all day everyday. The bar was small, busy and service was slow. The bar employees had zero interest engaging with customers, threw a drink at you without so much as a smile! The elevators didn t work nearly the entire time we were there. That was really annoying. Luckily we were on the 6th floor so it wasn t too bad using the stairwell. The King living space was Very small extreamly for two people. A king bed should never have been put in that living space but then they couldn t charge more. We had to leave the hotel and wait in line outside within the cold for morning meal somewhere else because we weren t part an elite member? Also the wait for the elevators was very long from 2 of the 5 we re not operating. Was barley able to fit between the wall and sink to go to the bathroom. Will definitely explore other choices within the area for my next stay. Hotel is good and I have stayed many times. This time I booked through booking. and therefore Marriott w
