The James New York - Main photo

The James New York

27 Grand Street, SoHo, New York, NY 10013, USA

👍 Great location and great views. Most of the employees were very helpful and kind. I thoroughly enjoyed the gentlemrn at the front door, very nice, saying hi or bye everytime we popped in or out! The view of the freedom tower was excellent. The James rooftop bar was great extreamly from there was a 50 foot walk back to my living space including elevator ride. The short walk to all of the restaurants and shopping district was fantastic as well. The 6pm wine wee hour was a great touch as well!! I love the location of the property. It’s in Soho, not too crowded but also not too polluted location. The employees were really nice and helpful. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful. Wood floors within the winter made the living space feel a bit cooler, perhaps a rug would go a long way. But the living space overall was absolutely beautiful, modern, and clean. fy bed. superb location. great scenery from the higher floors. The new restaurant is good if somewhat pricey! Beds werefy. Wine and cheese each evening was a great way to end a day exploring the city. Comfy bed, and quiet. Was able to get good sleep yay! Housekeeping did not clean our living space but refilled the snack tray ? Mmm is it because you charge for that ? I had to call to get water and fresh clean towels The service was excellent. I was addressed by my name and my requests were met with a smile each time. The living space was lovely with floor to ceiling windows and very little outside noise. Veryfortable bed, great shower and beautiful view 14th floor. Super close to the subway and walking distance to many attractions, bars, restaurants etc. highly rmend! The employees was really great! They did their best to provide me the best experience. The hotel is boutique hotel, so its style and design is what I prefer. I liked the outlook of the bathroom a lot. thing about this hotel was remotely likeable. The location is really perfect, which is about 2 mins walk to SOHO. Apart one thing it s a great hotel, but... Hotel employees were generally friendly. Location was excellent. Right next to nice coffee shops, restaurants and shops. Loved the large windows and natural light. Also liked the distilled water. Very hard to get ahold of employees and felt as though is was pulling teeth to get anything. Just very unorganized in my opinion. Staff was very friendly, helpful, weing. Operates as a smaller personable hotel. Loved the ambience of the open-air spaces as well: the garden area is a wee respite from busy city. Room was exceptionally clean and well organized; quiet. Received an upgrade. Location was great for us visiting family nearby. Beautiful location within the heart of soho with amazing view on the Town. The employees is really hosting and professional, always ready for your needs. The rooftop is really enchanting and the restaurant is very good! Thanks to Brian for his cordiality and for the upgrade in an awesome room. Location, trendyness and staff The living space was clean andfortable The location was excellent. Close to the subway. Lots of restaurants and shopping in close proximity Loved the heating on the bathroom floor. There were snacks throughout the day within the lobby Concierge was very helpful. Great view from the rooftop The artwork around the hotel is really nice. It was quiet once in your room. Heated floors on bathroom! Very large windows overlooking an open area in Soho

👎 Front desk person would not let me get my key as I used my partners name a the primary when booking though i paid for everything.. was mess after a long travel and she was not helpful-- basically saiying i had to wait til she got there to get my room. had to call her and ask 20 questions before i was able to proceed. no apologies.. could of been handled much better in my opinion. I have stayed at several hotels in this area for around the price. The James rooms and hotel were present days but worn. Paint chips, worn floor, stains on curtains.. Light was out on the bed stand and asked if they could fix it but never got done.t what was on the photos nor what i was expecting. The bed was notfortable, my fiance and I both are at home with sore backs. The floors were very thin I know because the woman within the floor above with high heels at 2am was very noticable. Moving the nightstand revealed what looks like a total disinterest in finishing renovations, looks like something you d hire a craigslist contractor to work on the poor moulding job and floor work All in all, we prefer the Domenick, which was booked, we will go back to them. So much for giving change a try. They need to exchange wash their curtains and blinds because in they have some stains on it. The bathrobes are over washed, they don’t look new and fresh anymore. It s super nitpicky, but the wood floors made the living space feel much colder, extreamly within the winter. They provide a fantastic look, but a rug of some sort might go a long way. It was extremely noisy, both from the corridors into the rooms and as i was located on floor 17 directly under the bar it was horribly noisy within the evenings. The bar employees were more than a little off hand. It was a bit expensive to not have morning meal included in he price. Housekeeping filled up our snack tray, but did not clean our room. I had to call to request fresh cleans towels and water For a superior king living space it was really small. I have been in many hotels and this living space looked more like the cheapest one within the hotel. In addition, I was also expecting that the bathroom would be better furnished in terms of products as well as a bath tub. In addition, I paid for a city view however all rooms except the status of liberty ones have a city view. So I was expecting a beautiful city view and got nothing special. I was less than impressed with this hotel. I had specifically booked to be able to make use of the rooftop which was closed for a individual event - this was not advertised anywhere prior. The employees were extremely unamodating, rude and robotic. I will not be staying here again nor will I rmend it. The employees have also taken payment twice and I am having to deal with ipetent assistance in which to retrieve my money. My living space has not been cleared during the first day of my stay. I called to require house-keeping, but no one showed up. I ended up with asking for some new towels and 2 dollars tips. The price was extortionate for 1 night $700 for plus taxes. 3nights $1150 plus taxes. Booked the further 3 nights and $200 discount given eventually after majorplaint. could not be undone and amended. RIP OFF for size of living space given, even after upgrade ☹️ Be very careful because they probably will charge you more than you should pay - first day we came they said that we should pay more than 180$ from booking price that incudes already each taxes and fac

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel - Main photo

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel

35 East 76th Street

👍 Stayed there several times before. Excellent location. Overall, a great hotel and the service everywhere on the property is first rate. Staff and ammenities are second to none. property is smaller, but the rooms are big. My friend suggested me to try there as it is also close to her apartment. of course it was the carlyle name that attracted me to book. the employees was nice, Bemelman s and the Cafe are amazing. lobby gorgeous, great location The ambiance Restaurant Carlyle could have a Michelin Star. The French food and wine reminded me of my childhood traveling though Europe with my grandparents. Those are some of my most cherished memories. The time warp seems to bring you back to a more gracious period of the Pax Americana. Grand, yet not ostentatious. A subdued atmosphere that emanates from the live jazz quartet within the bar gave a soundtrack to the whole experience that could not be improved upon. Location. The bar is still a nice spot to spend a night at The bed was veryfortable and the living space very clean. Cleaning service was tops! Only location All superlatives. A truly grand European hotel. The people at the front work area were incredibly amodating. Staff was amazing. Elevator operators were a class act. Staff was wonderful and the Kiehl s bath products were a great treat! Bedfy, employees friendly, easy access, food good Nice location. Friendly service. Love the atmosphere of the hotel and the piano bar, great location, quite but close enough to all the shopping, park and the Met museum. Perfect for singles as I am, very friendly. The curtsey of the employees was good. The availability of a driver and car for short trips like for lunch dinner was very nice and improved the quality of our stay. Dinner within the restaurant was first class. We did not have breakfast. I love everything about this hotel - but I think what I like most is the quiet nature of the public rooms, while there is so much to offer within the other spaces- the bars, restaurant, entertainment. They have somehow managed to capture both, and do so beautifully. Loved the bar, cafe, and restaurant. The bar with live music is always fun on the weekends there is a cover charge. The cafe is a wonderful place to have a drink and people watch, and the restaurant is quiet, elegant, and the food is delicious. A lovely boutique hotel. Location near park, shopping, restaurants. Bemelman s bar has nice jazz. Staff mostly friendly. Nice fitness center facilities though small. Beds were normal twins and veryfortable. Room faced inside so was very quiet. Shower brilliant Wonderful classic hotel with very polite staff. Also rooms were beautifully decorated and quiet. friendly helpful service location morning meal included it was raining and the captain gave us an umbrella for the evening! that was great!!! reasonable parking Our stay was first class all the way. We were well taken care of.... and enjoyed each minute! This is our go-to place in NYC! Get reservations for a meal, and spend an evening at the bar. Location The concierge was very helpful Lobby service cafe Carlyle bedding One of the best hotels I ve ever stayed in! Comparable to the used-to-be Mandarin Oriental in Francisco. Excellent overall Timeless traditions Wonderful employees and beautiful lobby. Close to Central Park Favorite hotel in NYC, slept like a baby. Staff was kind and weing. Close to Central Park and a lot of restaurants galleries Almost everything. The general atmosphere. All the employees is excellent. The restaurant The bed was amazing.... Bar, Concierge Hall, Breakfast The morning meal was great, the employees were friendly everything Breakfast delicious. Great view! Elegance within the heart of NYCbined with courteous employees and a scrumptious breakfast! expensive

👎 Hotel very tired and needs cash spending on it. Much worse than when I was last there in 2013. Belatedly told that next to no restaurant and living space service facilities due to refurb and no discount offered. Common parts very dirty and given a very poor room. The Mark close by is much the same price and far superior. The living space we were in was veryfortable by any standard. However, must say the living space for our stay was really dated. There was not a single thing about the hotel that isn’t superior but would rmend a update living space wise. the staffs are generally polite ...... though can one imagine you go out at 10am and return at 3pm,the living space is still undone ?! i then asked the housekeeper to return at 5pm after i go out for dinner. then i returned at 8.30pm.... the living space is not done yet..... i called the housekeeping again.... went out for a walk half hour to give them time to clean.... NOT yet done still..... i then told them to forget about it.... i was checking out the next day, the reception apologized..... honestly, i hv tried many 5 stars hotel.... they would probably free of cost the last day. i did not tell them I know the hotel owner....... sad.. i had to visit philly, so i thought interesting to move to another hotel for a different experience.... i had booked the 1 hotel central park behind the pierre..... i took my luggage to store there, everything changed.... the first smell of the hotel, young lady from the hotel reception was hosting anc helpful... i have not even moved into the hotel yet.... that is something to say there ! living space was quite small and tired. interior windows, dark. TINY bathroom. not a great value for the the price and it was on a thursday night of a holiday weekend, and not busy in NYC The food at morning meal what a disaster . The eggs were COLD, the smoked salmon with cream cheese came out without the cream cheese I asked and it still didn’te out 5 min later then had to bagel retoasted. So basically my wife was finished with her morning meal before I had bite one SAY NO MORE Being turned away at the morning meal buffet at exactly 10:27am was infuriating. The buffet full of eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits, patisseries, salmon, cheeses, going to the trash was tragic on multiple levels. After dinner we wanted one drink, but a $30 cover charge to walk one living space over seemed exorbitant, even after spending 4 figures for dinner. Carlyle used to be an amazing spot to stay in NY.w it became a no-class, no Service hotel where employees only cares about doing their job whatever way they can to pass the day Rooms are old. Bathrooms-if one person can walk in and turn around freely-call it an achievement. They always run out of items during breakfast. Events manager is utterly unpleasant and will most likely do nothing to amodate guests our experience. You will not be treated as a return regular guest-staff have no idea how to make notes about guests’ preferences-they will only check you in and out. We mentioned we didn’t enjoy our stay at the checkout and the reply was ok I could continue The bathroom shelves were too small to keep all cosmetics and necessities together. Also, there was no table within the living space which made living space service dining a challenge. It was old, dirty, run down, rooms horrible, trying to stand on when they were grand. Mark is across the street and for the same 1,000 per living space is amazing. Couldn’t get in and out of the shower, lights burned out, tv didn’t work . Was old shabby and just a run down mess. Water stains on wall paper, dirty worn rugs, lumpy mattress, spare or no towels.t a Five-star hotel. More light motel 6. . screwed up my reservation but it worked to my advantage. The initial living space I was in was right next to the elevators -- I had to move because it was so loud. The property overall is very old -- so the floors creak and sound travels. The entire property could use a massive upgrade -- from the curtai

👍 Love the atmosphere in this hotel! The bedroom are contemporary and the beds are superfortable. All the employees go out of their way to make you happy. It s within the great location. My favourite hotel in New York! Great location, friendly service, extremely well kept rooms and excellent housekeeping. We were able to extend our stay at the same rate. The prizes they ask do not reflect the quality the hotel should be. It s way to expensive. It s old and tired, very nineties and the rooms look like post- operation recovery rooms in a hospital. The location was perfect, great food, the employees very helpful and the rooms are very quite because of quadruple glazing! The amodations are clean, serene, fortable and quietly luxurious. The location is within the midst of one of the most interesting and vibrant neighborhoods within the city. Very nice location. Restaurant is amazing. Location. Staff is excellent. Was pleasantly surprised to find the employees so hosting on such a late arrival on a dreary night. Our living space was lovely and cozy. Staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. Take it or leave it. They cater to celebrities. The reservation manager Ben had horridmunication skills and didn’t care less that the hotel and booking. had booked me with a certain living space type... tried to downgrade me and made no efforts to ensure I was slightly happy. As soon as I pulled up there was someone already to help. I asked about a bigger living space and poof!! It was done. High ceilings, gorgeous doors going out to our own courtyard. Met my expectations and more, which is hard to do. I’m picky and have worked within the hospitality business for 28 years. It’s new and fresh atmosphere was just what we were looking for. It was amazing!! I can’t wait toe back! We liked the hotel, its architecture and decoration The size of the room, the sheets, Linen, the Christmas tree very Scandi, the staff, so friendly helpful. I aming back each year same time with more people. This short trip we had 3 rooms. The employees in general was very professional . Especially the concierge service , people were very helpful and nice . you can easily feel home food is good Extremely friendly and amodating staff Amodations, front work area employees concierge exceeded expectations. Room bed sofortable. Cool, Soho vibe. Very Private. Loved the lobby design. Felt like home in Soho Good food Room was clean and minimalist in decor. There was plenty of closet space but little drawer space. Room faced Prince Street but was quiet and the windows had light blocking shades which could be lowered automatically. Staff very helpful, friendly, and amodating. I will stay there again. Decor is minimalist but each element is luxurious and well-designed from the sheets to the towels to the soap to the stationery. The employees is incredibly friendly and service-oriented. Friendly service, taking care of the guests in all circumstances. I met a man called Juan, from Colombia, that has worked there for quite some time. The gentleness in is nature was a plus to us. Every night they deliver water to your room. everything It was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back Our suite was stunning! Excellent service and very cozy quiet Wonderful staff, great location Great location! Location, location, location. Great staff, great location. Ha

👎thing A little bit expensive. The rooms could do with an update. This was my second stay at The Mercer. The first stay last year was perfect. This year, the service was uneven to say the least. The front work area and housekeeping employees were great but I had a living space service experience that was weird, hostile and ufortable, enough so that I question the judgment of the hotel s hiring policies and unacceptable enough that I will never book a living space here again and would not rmend to anyone else. Additionally, the doormen seem more interested in checking out the lively scene around the hotel than within thefort of the guests. Very expensive for what it is offered. Hotel does not support credit cards just with chip, but just magnetic stripe. Price and . did not have a good price on this hotel. Lighting within the hotel and the living space was very poor. You can’t see the floor numbers to push within the elevator and a woman might have trouble putting on her makeup with the living space lighting. t a thing! thing The hot water within the living space didn t work at times. The ice cold draft spreading inside from either entrance door - lobby or restaurant - when being opened is not acceptable for a hotel of that level. Maybe and only Maybe, because I am used to Irish hotels, you can get a drink 24 7 within the lobby. Minor inconvenience. Hotel was so hot and there AC within the room. So to let cooler air within the living space you had to open the window. Then it was ridiculously noisy. Staff was loud within the corridors at all hours starting at 5am and lack of carpet meant sound was amplified. Disgusting stain on theforter Was charged $108 for breakfast2 veggie omelettes no cheese. Side of turkey bacon. And two almonds milk lattes. Almost fell on the floor. Small room The service is not up to the standard of the of the employees took any time to explain the food, and absolutely a zero on the wine service -- the lady barely knew how to pour a glass of wine. Management should seriously consider properly training their service team to do the food justice. Although the restaurant at the hotel was highly touted, our experience was not up to expectations; service was slow at the beginning and our appetizers were sent to the wrong table. I would have refused the plate if it had been set down in front of a person at another table. Wait employees and desk employees seemed indifferent. Fish dishes were dry and items overpriced. A few small mix-ups within the bar restaurant and from the service desk, a bit unworthy of a five-star hotel, although everything was corrected swiftly and properly. Unfortunately, the renovation of the building but understand that it is necessary. This hotel is promoted as a high-end really good hotel, starting with how much they charge per night. In reality we payed $600 per night for a very small room, with a small bed and poor lightning, it is definitely not worth what they are asking for. housekeeping could have been cleaner option for a coffee in room thing really I can think of Room too small Bad management Bad service And unfriendly staff Small room, ufortable bed, ugly furniture. Unpleasant experience. kettle, tea cups within the room. Mercer kitchen was expensive and food was good not great I booked a Courtyard living space but got one over the street. I m british so didn t get it swapped !

👍 Great location and very nice room Location, and employees were very nice and polite! If you are planning to visit Times Square then it’s a great location. The hotel is good but nothing special. You will find everything you need but it’s all not very special. Certainly not for a Kimpton hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Kimpton Muse! It’s a clean, chic hotel right in main center of Times Square. You’re in great walking distance to all the hottest tourist spots and shopping, but tucked away just enough for a clam relaxing stay. Despite them being under construction during my stay the hotel restaurant not open, the facilities were clean and in full service. The rooms are good size and well decorated with present days utilities. My favorite part of my stay had to be the employees and customer service! I was constantly greeted by helpful and cheerful employees always eager to help. The lobby is chicly decorated with fruit infused water coffee and hot chocolate out for guests. They have plenty of extra toiletries that they’ll bring straight to your living space upon request as well. Even when we asked to keep our luggage at the front work area after checking out from we had a game to attend at MSG, they eagerly offered to keep our stuff secured for as long as we wanted so we could enjoy our last day in New York. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel, I can’t wait to return! Location: 5 minute walk to major theaters Comfortable and clean. Great view. Close to everything we we re doing. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The location was great being 1 2 a block from Times Square. The living space was veryfortable and larger than many hotels in New York. The Hotel provided aplimentary glass of wine within the afternoon which was very pleasant. We liked the interesting decor of the property. Concierge assisted me in identifying excellent restaurant for dinner plans and even made reservations. He was wonderfully helpful. I loved that there was even a yoga mat and amazing citrus mandarin eucalyptus body wash. Beds were cozy and all was so clean hosting and tidy. This all made for a great overnight stay! Room was nicely appointed, very clean with a great location Location, price was really good for this location in an updated room. Bathroom was very nice as well. The cleanliness of the living space and friendly staff Beds are superfortable, decor is tasteful, employees are friendly and efficient and the bar tender creates a fancy based cocktail for us ! Perfect location. The location Clean. A long hall where u could stow the luggage so living space was spacier. Beds were totally OK. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Good location Veryfortable bed! I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. I like the location of the hotel, and have stayed there numerous times. A excellent small hotel that is walking distance from Times Square - a good selection of nearby restaurants and theatres. An ideal place for an anniversary getaway. The living space was delightful and the employees were outstanding. They were the most friendly and helpful people I have ever met on a big city hotel. Full marks VB all round. Will definitely stay again when in NYC andhave already rmended the hotel to my friends Good location,fy bed, front work area and bell desk did great Location The employees was very amodating. We loved the wine reception at night, it definitely added

👎 Automatically charged us 20 gratuity for morning meal when morning meal was COMPLETELY self serve and employees did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. The bar and restaurant was closed due to renovation which was ok but I would of liked some notifications about it! I love Kimpton but this should not be a Kimpton hotel. It’s not bad but everything within the hotel is not bad, not great either. Staff is ok, most very friendly actually while we were there. Didn’t give us the upgrade that was agreed upfront till a few days later where they did give us the upgrade. And I can continue like this. Again the hotel is ok. Just not great. Was planning to host an event there for work but after all the difficulties we didn’t even further investigate. We would have given the hotel a great 10 but for the jackhammering construction noise during the middle of the night. That made sleep miserable Restaurant was closed. Hard to find with the scaffolding out side. Street was closed due to parade and then for construction - hard to access with baggage and very cold weather. It would have been good to receive a text or email about the street issue. Restaurant seemed tired and we later found out they were closing for renovations the next day. The Hotel did no have a functioning restaurant as this was being renovated. It just meant we had to eat out and found some very good restaurants. We had to wait for valet to bring our car for over an hour. However the employees was very apologetic and tried to fix the situation as quickly as possible. The price I was quoted by . $325.03 was not the price billed by the hotel $370.93. I did not expect to pay 14 more than the quoted price. The bed was a little on the firm side. Room although present days and clean was small The bed was very ufortable .. we could not sleep properly. Also, we were locked out and none of the provided keys worked . After several trips up and down, finally the security officer went up and let us in N a The employees were excellent, but understaffed. We arrived on Boxing Day and the place was manic.t enough employees to cater to the influx of guests. I had to pick my own bags up from reception. Also the express elevator was so slow and stopped at each floor. Doesn’t help if your on the 17th floor water kettle... hardly any toiletteries. Wasnt this a 4 star? The cleaner came very late within the evening and declared she would only pull a little at the bedsheets : There ought to be a make my roomoption on the phone within the room. The bill under the door on checkout morning was higher than that booked through booking.. Took 30 minutes to take away the double taxes, but the Swedish speaking gentleman that took at the reception over was so pleasant and caring that it ended well. morning meal availble! The bed OK, but the duvet-solution terrible!! heating at the bathroom. Housekeeping-personal not doing a good job. Room smell very bad the food from outside and windows are not good so all the cold ising inside. All the living space are the same we’ve insisted to change several time not easy And about the personal, i’ve never saw people taking care less about you than these people. Oh you have a free of cost glass of wine everyday at 5 ! But wait.. therefor bar is closed and service is within the lobby within the cold within the middle of checkin checkout and lugguages : $7 for a small bottled water is ridiculous. Water is

👍 Great location for the price. The restaurant is excellent for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Loved my in living space window seat for afternoon reading and relaxation. Staff very helpful and responsive. Many activities were going on around St. Patrick s Day parade and the next day a run, but employees could maneuver around so transport for me was effortless. Seems to have ethical product and service. The employees at 1 Hotel Central Park is exceptional. Absolutely exceptional. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Our bed was fantastic - the sheets and pillows very clean andfortable. Our living space was not very big but well appointed and just right for us. Really great shower. The living space was very quiet. Room service was very good and the food excellent. For anyone who appreciates organic living - you must stay here. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. This will be our only choice in NYC from now on. Front desk employees are stellar friendly and so nice. Head engineer Ivan, was spectacular in helping when I walked within the living space and two things were wrong. He went above and beyond. Christopher at the front work area is so good at his job, he knows how to make a bad situation feel ok. When my 11 yo and I arrived for a girls getaway, we were told that they upgraded us to a corner living space with a park view! The concierge was friendly and warm, and our corner living space was a nice breath of fresh air from the city. It could not be more perfect! Overlooking Central Park, it was quiet, clean, fortable and had a great shower. They even had macaroons for us to enjoy together within the living space while we were curled up in our window seat. I only wished we had more time to spend in this beautiful room, but we had a busy impromptu weekend planned! Location of the hotel in relation to pretty much everything: Five-star restaurants, Central Park, Broadway... just great to walk to almost all the best things in NYC. The hotel is so clean... it smells like a spa in each living space and eachmon area... a one of a kind property. Absolutely love the environmental friendly concept of the hotel. They dont provide disposal things unless you request it and encourage recycling - which is extremely appealing to me. plastic products within the rooms. The lobby is full of beautiful plants and features apleasant smell. Staff are professional and very helpful. Would definitelye again. This property definitely deserves a 5 star . The employees is the most amazing i have ever seen, the rooms were so pretty andfortable. I would never stay anywhere else ❤️Location ❤️❤️Friendly employees The concept of recycling is amazing Modern Calm and cozy interior Excellent interior design, great location, professional employees and services. The design and ambiance is amazing. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Great location and superfortable bed. location was fantastic and it was very easy to get around New York and use the subway, services was impeccable, extremely friendly. Food -we really enjoyed, nice breakfast, could do with a slightly bigger selection. Rooms were smallish, but functional. Shower was good, but noisy; could not shower without waking up my roommate. The eco-friendly concept is nice The hotel was beautiful and had a cool overall vibe. The employees and customer service was wonderful. I would highly rmend a living space with the window seat with a view of the city and Central Park ! It was magical💕The employees were so swee

👎 We liked everything. t a lot of facilities, food is so expensive thing. It was perfect. thing thing! I was expecting a better view of the central park but not a major problem Shattaf at the toilet Water from the sink was not clear at all Fire Alarm was on going for 2 nights You can hear people within the other living space talking Expensive Lacking of dietary products although everything is organic. Need more hangers in bathroom. the fitness center is quite small and hotel has only 1 restaurant. I would expect a bit more from a 5* hotel at he rate you pay. more selection for breakfast. Breakfast was overpriced but pirtions were huge Our living space was a little bit smaller than I expected and it was quite dimly lit. The hotel focuses on being eco friendly, which I like, but the lighting was a problem when trying to do my makeup or looking for clothes to wear. My husband liked the lighting though. I wanted to explain how to use the room. For example, I did not notice the sliding door of the toilet. Subway was getting refurbished while we were there making it a bit annoying to get to and from the hotel but this isn’t the fault of the great hotel Mirror and socket for hair drying- brighter light loved the low lighting, Would begoodto have an areafor aftetnoon tea coffee. After several hours of walking andsightseeing we wantedto sit infy chairwith adrink but were only allowed to sitat bar tables stools Really bad hotel. Smart concept to get people to not wash towels and use cardboard boxes and recycled rough plywood within the rooms. Probably helps you turn a nice profit. Seems like the hotel preys on tourists, rather than people within the know. Another good trick. Incredibly bad experience for the price. Will go out of our way to dissuade others from staying there. A little bit pricy as rooms aren’t that big. Windows not 100 sound proof. thing The living space is tight, window is absolutely useless no view except for walls and the bed is way too small for a hotel that charges 800$ a night! It is a little expensive. But your paying for the location. I would still stay again without hesitation. Elevators weren’t the easiest to use and only one went to certain floors. The bedroom looked tired.t very clean in general. Poor housekeeping service. We had to change bedrooms as the one they gave us the first night was chockingly dirty, small and terrible view of the back of the hotel with birds poo all over ! But they made it up for the rest of our stay by upgrading us to a larger living space with a better view. Great location, cozy room, excellent bath and shower. I had a king. Two people might find the living space a little tight but for one it was perfect. Other kings might be larger. I asked for a pen and i never got it. Had to spend a whole day without AC cause they re waiting for engineer to evaluate my living space s air con problem! Also they say tap water has 3 filters, mine was showing white powder within the glass. The living space service is working through a special smart phone within the room, it works so slow that made each order a night mare. Also got a problem with living space cleaning - one day the living space was not cleaned, although we were out most of the day and pushed the Service button twice during the day. Other thing is the linen - my head was all in feathers after each night. We had a suite that had no view ... view of very

👍 Spa facilities were excellent. Everything needed was provided within the spa changing room. Clean and the fitness center and pool area is high notch Beds veryfy, very nice bathroom morning meal was good Helpful and responsive Front Desk and Housekeeping. The morning meal at the restaurant was extra delicious Arriving at the hotel is an experience in itself. The valets seem more like part of the secret service than bag carriers - they asked my name and radioed up to reception that I was on my way by speaking into their shirt cuffs.t sure anyone was listening but it felt great anyway. The bath living space was amazing - I had a tub within the bathroom with a fab view from it - a large separate shower had lighting embedded within the shower head that gave the impression of the whole space was filled with warm rain. The technology within the living space was very special - TV embedded within the bathroom mirror, all drapes and curtains were remote control, B&O Bluetooth speaker and connections to stream from your laptop or tablet onto the TV screen. The living space showed that benefit of a building that is purpose built for a hotel - the layout was great and the fittings and furniture bespoke and very high quality. The service was excellent, morning meal was one of the best ever - that bacon is something I still think about. I m going back as soon as I can. Beautifully appointed, trendy hotel, a really peaceful oasis within the bustling city with an atmosphere of exclusivity. Special thanks to Ramon, who always makes a simple car short trip into an awesome, fun experience! reception, concierge, luggage : all AAA. wonderful living space and my son adored the tender chicken and fries. Champagne list at the bar, overall hardware is amazing. Gym, pool are great Staff is making progresspared to previous stays Great location, fortable, clean, good sized rooms. Helpful staff. Swimming pool was nice after a walk on Fifth Av. or a bike ride through Central Park. The employees was wonderful. Cleanliness across the board excellent. Room A, Great fitness center and pool area, spa is exceptional. Rooms were very spacious. Bathrooms great even when having to share it. The pool and spa are a don’t miss. food Location and confort Room was big n nice I loved the bathroom - Warm hosting employees - Spa and Gym - close to Central Park and easy access to subway Very attentive staff. Wonderful pool and spa area Location and cleanings Good location ex excellent living space upgrade Big rooms, great location and staff, living space service and the food was good Milana was wonderful. Her service was outstanding! Thank you so much for the treats for the children we felt spoilt. The Concierge were exceptional. Staff Great as usual. the doorman JIM was helpful

👎 Steam living space could be hotter or provide seats higher up to capture the heat better. Except for one or two employees members most acted like they were doing you a huge favour if asked to do their job. Bar was often unattended or the bar employees were too busy chatting. The lobby and bar and restaurant is all one area which makes it a very messy area. It s a shame we couldn t use the pool area because there were so many children within the pool The maid service within the living space was very late on 2 days and my privacy light was not on, I had to call and request the service after 4.30pm on both those days evening meal was terrible - poor choice, the signature restaurant has closed the bar food was very poor. With tips morning meales to $80 - not worth that much Sole restaurant is uninviting, little effort on the food. I had a very basic American breakfast, that cost $50. Further annoyance: though the bill already had an automatic 18 tip, there was still a tip line, in which you were encouraged to leave another 18. Room itself is not really that plush, though bathroom and closet areas weremensurate with the price level. Inadequate soundproofing, sirens from the street were clearlty audible. Guests seem very much on the corporate side. Companies undoubtedly pay much less, so as a individual individual you are subsidizing their corporate business. The only thing i didnt like was the noises thate from the street, the living space is not soundproof. Other than that it was all perfect!! All the drink and food bills included service charge and asked for a tip on top. Breakfast was great but with tips and service charge it cost nearly double. Maybe its because I m a Brit but one of these should be included within the charge quoted within the menu? One other thing - the entrance can only be reached by getting a left from the lobby - this is great for security - not so good if you just want to pop out. As it was our 4th stay, getting an even smaller living space than last time was a bit of a disappointment. Probably due to high occupancy rates: some small support needed here and there within the living space room fridge could have been cold, for instance ... Breakfast is menu based and bit slow. Preferred the buffet style. Some rooms are noisy thing bad to say about this hotel! Hotel is expensive, but morning meal is really over-prized. The guest relation office, i asked for somthing and they never replied me back, but the Manager make it up to me. hotel charged me smoking fee without any notice.... very restrict food menu for a 5 star hotel So many mainland chinese n noisy within the lounge n restaurant. ne . not including within theparison price the 15 local tax! You could hear the noise from the street Bad isolation. Also tge morning meal is too expensive juice for usd 15 thing The view from 18 floor not much good, Very badly managed hotel... the service was poor and the living space had several items broken and the housekeeping didn t know how to fix them... Coffee cups had lipstick stains. The toilet got logged, but was fixed quickly. Windows absolutely filthy
