👍 Tyler and Steven at the reception were so sweet! Made our stay much more enjoyable! The location is perfect. Great design andfortable beds. The bathroom was small but clean and the fixtures were nice. The employees was pleasant and helpful. The bed was surprisingly large and soft. I slept wonderfully at night, and the toilet waspletely my aesthetic. The bathroom products smelled great and were very good for my skin. I loved the interior design. The bed wasfortable, and the location is great. Convenient Location and the concept of the conscious hospitality and supporting world poverty project. Location of the hotel was very convenient. Close to subway stations and in easy reach of Little Italy which is excellent and China Townt as great as we hoped. The subway is excellent and a very convenient way to get around the city and everything is easily accessible so you can explore all the different interesting regions of NY. The SOHO area features avast availability of cafes and restaurants within a short walk. The other thing we liked about the hotel was the casual nature of the environment rather than a formal large chain hotel. thing really to like with this hotel Everyone at this hotel is extremely helpful and polite. Beds are superfy and the location is perfect. The employees were always willing to assist no matter what time of day and would always be approachable. The experience I had at 11 Howard will be hard to match based on the service I received. The location is great. Nice employees andfy beds. Recently, we stayed, in this hotel. The living space with 2 double beds was tiny. It was hard to store anything within the closet! Unfortunately, although we asked, there was no possibility to get a bigger room. We understood - it was holiday period time. Since we were outside most of the time, we didn tplain about the living space not being cleaned properly. Luckily, the beds werefortable. The location is good and most of the employees are nice. Mind you: There is a $30 a day facility charge which covers the internet, phone calls, $10 minibar credit for items we travel a lot and we’ve never had that in any hotel we’ve stayed in. So, the WI-Fi is not Complimentary, as suggested on the website. Complimentary services or products are those given to an audience a customer without charge. The location was great, you could walk to the subway stop in just a few minutes, and their employees at the front work area were friendly. Nice concept, personel was absolutelly wonderful and helpful. The area is great if you want to be around soho. Location and employees were great. It wasn t a warm hotel. Rooms were tiny and sparsely furnished, which made it a little cold. I liked the bathroom design but not the size Bedfortable. Rooms economical yet well designed and serviceable. Aesthetically satisfying and not austere. Nice and trendy rooms. Great location and amazing areas nearby! Beds were veryfortable. We had some problems with our stay but management made each effort to resolve these problems to our satisfaction. Solely based on managements response I will being back to the 11 Howard. Very cool andfortable design. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location. A great hotel for young travellers. I loved thefortable bed, beautiful vanity within the bathroom and a nice view from the room. Very trendy fashi
👎 We got food poisoning from the food. Wasn t that great that there wasn t a nice restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There was a facilities tax ontop of like 5 other taxes daily - when the hotel had no facilities. Very expensive for tiny rooms! Having to request everything from bathrobes to shower caps shouldn t happen in a luxury hotel. Very loud repair crew shouting within the hallway. The two queen beds nearly filled the entire living space which was small. There was a strong, overwhelming, perfume smell which filled the hallways. The double bedroom was smaller than I expected, so it was difficult to fit all of our suitcases and move around. The lighting was a little too dark within the bathroom so I had trouble putting on my makeup. The employees are rude. The lobby is freezing. warm wee. The poor receptionist had on gloves and ear muffs checking me in it was that cold. The 3 guys standing around ‘concierge’ were so rude and not helping her out at all. Then she brought up my bags to my living space not them! My living space was fine for NY standards. Clean. The bed was great. But the vibe of the place was so bad. I will never stay here again. The hotel is being marketed as luxury and 5 star by some websites. It is not luxury or 5 star. You can notpare the level of this hotel to its sister Gramercy Park Hotel or Sixty Thompson in terms of luxury, service and amodations, or even the public spaces. Oh and the bar that turns into a night club actually features apretty bad smell inside, but the space itself looks nice and cozy. There was a small issue with the bathroom exhaust fan which became very noisy after the first few days. we reported it 3 times and it wasn t acted upon. Did not ruin the short trip - we just needed to keep the door shut at night to lessen the sound while we slept. When you first step to the hotel there is no reception to wee you2 ipads on a small table thats it so you need to look for the employees to get service. Rooms are small not enough space for the luggage Furnitures are minimal looks like Ikea style Mattress worn and sunk from use Very un wee environment There were toiletries only for 1 person within the bathroom. When I requested for 3, a man brought for only 1 additional person, we booked for 3. The bathroom was tattered looking and was not clean. Elevators outside the living space were quite noisy until after 1am. Luke warm water and bad water pressure in our tiny room. Don’t love the minimal lobby. Seems coldand unweing. At the end, there was an unpleasant situation and I can t stress this enough: It s not the money, it s the principle. We have never used the minibar maybe we should have opened it and checked it. Just before our flight departure to Europe, I received a second invoice. The first, I checked quickly together with a concierge in should I call it, the conceptual lobby, both hunching down to the level of a small Ipad screen.t the ideal way to do it. The second invoice had additional charges for the ‘use’ of the minibar the last morning before we checked out 6 soft drinks. I’ll repeat, we did not use the minibar neither that morning nor during our stay. If we had used the minibar before, I presume it would be listed on our invoice as a daily expense, as it is listed for the second floor s library coffee place expenses.w, I am even wondering if those expenses are correct. Mistakes can happen even in Five-star hotels 11 Howard ha

👍 Love the details, very modern, veryfortable bed! I will be back for sure. I always like the living space of Andaz hotels, spacious, modern, stylist, a reference from Asia. The Wall Street andaz wont disappoint you. The location is good, extreamly for biz travelers., the best part is value for cash indeed! Free sodas within the fridge. Staff is terrific. Stylish rooms.. although perhaps due for a makeover. Location is the only benefit of this place Came to relax with my honey. The living space was cool. The bathroom is even cooler. The tub is very relaxing. The rooms were great- size, ambiance, etc. My entire stay at Andaz was wonderful. I was warmly greeted when I arrived and was given aplimentary upgrade, even though I do not have rewards status with Hyatt. My living space was very large and way exceeded my expectations. It had a great shower and bath tub and had very nice lighting and automatic blackout curtains.n-alcoholic drinks and snacks within the living space were allplimentary. And, this hotel had one of the cheapest rates in Manhattan for the weekend I stayed here. I would highly suggest this property! thing I like that I got a cheaper rate on booking. The employees were very friendly and the location was good. The bed was amazing! Those feather pillows will feature in my dreams for years toe. The location of the hotel gets 11 10!! 2 short blocks from the subway, 4 short blocks from Battery Park and 4 short blocks from Fulton Market. Delicious home made cookies available in reception all day you can evene down in your pjs to fetch. Nespresso machine with pods was available within the living space on request. Bath hair products provided were high notch. Daily soft drinks, water, juice provided free. Really sweet and helpful employees in reception. matter what time of night or day they always had a smile and time for a quick chat. Best bagels and cream cheese within the deli just below the hotel and a fully stocked Duane Reade pharmacy across the road. I will most definitely be staying here again. :- Location was great, centrally located within the Financial District, close to subways and also the waterfront. Rooms were generously spacious. Largefortable roomFriendly helpful staffExcellent breakfast First time in my live in NYC! Everything is super satisfying: the size of the room, the bed, the bathroom, and staffs are warm and nice. The price is a little high but it s average level in lower Manhattan, which imo is a most convenient location. You even get some perks and promos for your short trip so it s totally worth it. Good price for the weekend close to Christmas that my wife and I visited Manhattan. Massive rooms with huge beds and full view windows. Free 24 hour coffee within the reception and friendly employees make for a very homely feel. Family thought I d outdone myself when we arrived at this classly hotel, haha. Location is great if you want to explore the revamped south street sea port area Location Location Location., Wall St is a bit down, but access to express subways within 2 min walk have you uptown in minutes. Staff is exceptional. Friendly and informed. The maid was the best ever, bed superfy, linens optimal, shower living space exaggeratedly large. Very good eats within the restaurant and loved the hot coffee and fresh cookies within the lobby throughout the day. Love the living space design, so ample for NYC where extra space seems im
👎 Breakfast was overpriced. We ordered sunny side eggs and salmon eggs Benedict, 2 coffees 2 og’s =$85 after tax before tip . Probably the most expensive eggs we had in nyc for morning meal lol, not living space service. Maybe the hotel needs to prepare slippers and dental kit etc. Used to be chips and snacks within the rooms.w two sad-looking health bars. Used to be bath robes.. gone. Room lighting is dim. Too dark to do makeup, I m told. Seriously need to rethink the lighting. Light switches by bed are a little grimy although it s hard to see because dim. Resort fee. Just charge what you want. Don t use bogus addonsisappointedpared to prior experiences here. Dirty, disgustingly dirty. All the rooms are dirty. It is hard to touch anything in bathrooms. Sheets with holes. Spots on the carpet, Floor is sticky. The hotel is not renovated for ages. Breakfast is overpriced and not tasty at all. For $38 per person, you can easily find better morning meal around within the area. The smoke of cigarettes within the hotel. Hotel charged me for morning meal even though I booked with breakfast. It is not possible to get my cash back, nobody responds. I hated my stay in this place and don t rmend anybody stay there. . is lying about the high review, probably the hotel creates fake accounts to rate itself highly because I don t see another reason of the high ranking. Look at photos I took. DOes it look like 8.7 Fabulous place? The carpets through out the hotel are discusting. Seriously clean them or replace them. That really suprised me. The check in out process. There was only one person checking in on a Friday night, so there was no help getting bags out of the car. We drove in and were running a little behind, so there was no sense of urgency from the staff. Additionally, on the way out I had to request a luggage cart three times. I usually have at least a couple of suggestions for improvement, but my stay at this property was one of the rare ones where everything exceeded my expectations. There is nothing I did not like about the property. I was charged twice for my living space and it wasnt even my living space that i booked it was a downgrade. I was promised amenities i never got. Im currently still disputing with my bank to get my cash back from this hotel. First the front work area person gave me someone else’s credit card . Then I didn’t get the living space I booked . I asked for 1 queen size bed with view and got 2 beds no view. I was super disappointed, it was my gift to my fiance for Valentine’s Day weekend Our living space was in desperate need of refurbishment. The light fittings were broken, the bathroom was shabby and the pillows on the double beds were too long and were for a king size bed. We were very disappointed. . said there would be a coffee machine coffee maker gown within the room, but there were none of these. The nespresso machine was provided when one was requested. Some of the decor and hardware was dated and falling apart but was promptly fixed when reported to reception There was no coffee within the living space but not a big dealThe elevator stopped unnecessarily at some floors. Sometimes. Well if you re running on a tight budget you might wanna step out and try searching Brooklyn or Queens within the search bar instead of New York City, which booking. probably by default only gives you results in Manhattan. It s somehow cheaper but you ll need about 10~20 min via sub

👍 We’re New Yorkers and live 30 mins away by car. The stay was a Friday night surprise for my family, which they really enjoyed. Personally, I’ve to the hotel before but is my first time staying here and I absolutely loved it? The check in procedure was very easy and smooth. This place is beautiful and the employees is very friendly and amodating. The bar restaurant within the hotel was very good and drinks were tasty. Great size for a hotel in NYC! From check in to location, everything was great. The living space was veryfortable. The bed large and veryfortable. The shower was huge. Everything was excellent Conrad New York has outdid themselves again! Special thanks to Doris and Michael from Hospitality for making sure our home away from home is always perfect! My girlfriend and I recently hosted a few friends to celebrate the new year within the Executive Suite. We couldn’t have asked for better service, and such a clean, spacious room. We absolutely love the Conrad! Rather you’reing from far or near, let Conrad New York be your destination. The rooms and the location are the best in newyork among all 5 star hotels Over the years I tried most of them. price quality is the best among all 5 star hotels. - Room and hotel style design- Room Service But only the Russian speaking women, very careful Exceptional service - the employees seem to be so proud of the hotel and genuinely eager to please The living space was very spacious and made for a great telework option on Monday. I appreciated them allowing me to basically check out when I needed to and not bother me one time! That was a great incentive. Service was exceptional. Every single staffer seemed to be enthusiastic about pleasing their guests, which is so unusual. In other New York hotels we have stayed at, there are always 1 or 2 who seem keen on their jobs, but at the Conrad, to be eager to please is the norm! The fit and finish everywhere in this hotel is high flight. Beautiful living space with great view of the river. Spotless. A very generous living space suite size. Loved it! fy beds, great toiletries, and super friendly staff. We had a service dog and upon arriving within the living space they had a dog bed, food bowls, and scarf out! What a special touch! Staff very professional, friendly and helpfulGreat location - by Hudson river, fantastic view and closer to World Trade Centre and transportVeryfortable living space with great facilitiesWe would absolutely rmend the hotel to friends and families!!! Rooms were super clean and veryfortable. The location of the hotel, opposite a nice shpping mall and only 500 metres from the World trade Center. Thefort of the deluxe suite and the clean and well furnished fitness center available to the customers. Room design and layout; incrediblyfortable beds, linens and pillows; the Hotel’s Atrio restauant great french toast, btw; three Danny Meyer restaurants within the first floor footprint of the hotel building; fabulous onsite amenities; proximity to the best downtown has to offer. I was a person that usually stayed uptown when visiting the city; no more. The soft design and the coziness of the living space are what distinguishes this hotel from many others. Loved the stay here. Dine-in service was good and the food was delicious. I like how close this hotel is to the twin towers site. The surrounding area is clean and safe. The scenery from the living space were spectacular. If you love sta
👎thing not to like employees management is not good enough. dont get me wrong.. everything is working but the difference with some 5 star hotels in newyork is quite big. Same for the food within the restaurants.thats why we always eat outside. can you imagine if the management would change that... then contad can serously be the best in newyork.. like a park hyatt in tokio.. all the facilities are there to do that. - Booked this family living space for 3 persons, as proposed. The couch is to small for the third person and unfoldable. - Room was not prepared for 3 persons, I had to call the reception and wait for pillow and blanket for my son after a long flight not so nice. - Hotel employees not friendly, assembly line work - if you don´t like it, we don´t care we have enough tourists. questions like how was your stay? etc. - My husband had a birthday, and we booked this hotel to celebrate. I asked for a small gift for him, per mail, per chat nothing happened. During check-in mentioned it again nothing happened! Just: oh nice! Never seen this before, we celebrate his birthday always in hotels and get always something like small prosecco, birthday wishes etc. - no service like 5 hotel Front desk employees were not friendly however the housekeeping were very polite, courteous helpful and weing... the front work area employees could learn from them. We used the restaurant on Christmas Day.... no atmosphere no pleasantries and no thanks for 20 gratuity. We ordered the Christmas special ... the beef was tender and delicious however the carrots and green bean were more than al dente !!!. Tge food and beverage in restaurant were expensive . The atrio reception and waitstaff were not as enthusiastic when we went for brunch on Dec 24. Maybe they were tired after a busy morning meal crowd. We had a few glitches trying to get into the living space and had to call security to change the battery and we again had to call security as the phone was beeping within the room. Appeared the phone needed a battery or something. Perhaps that living space just missed a support check as it was within the far corner of the hotel and could use some TLC by way of a detailed clean and the curtains were broken a bit and hanging off hooks. We werep d $100 for food and beverage and appreciated that. We paid $1300 for two nights so I really wasn t expecting any inconveniences and everything to be in pristine condition. The Hudson river view could not be enjoyed because there is still an apartment across the street blocking a part of the window and resulting in having to put down our blinds all the time. But that just means we won t be paying the premium for this river view. The window shades do not go up. Fridge too full as we could hardly fit anything in it The location is ok but transport is needed to go practically everywhere except for the World Trade Center. Our deluxe suite did not have the view on the Hudson river we asked for that but we could not have it cause apparently the hotel was fully booked and morning meal was not included within the pricey fare we paid. I cannot think of anything I don’t like about the Conrad New York. Pretty hard to believe. N a. thing I didnt feel like anything stuck out as far as lacking. The fridge within the living space was quite noisy but it became white noise after one night. I expected more out of a 5 star hotel. The hotel itself was pretty but my living space was not at all wh

👍 Loved the decor and high tea service within the drawing room Asked for and was given a late checkout. Room was ready upon arrival. Formal tea within the bar was amazing! Boutique hotel in good location. Nice European decor. Elegant. You are immersed in art and design from the moment you walk within the door. The employees is icredibley attentive. The food within the restaurant is delicious. Every detail is on point. A great little gem! Amazing attention to detail in EVERYTHING!! Really impressive. Lobby is airy, hosting and contemporary in its look. The reading living space reserved to hotel residents is cosy and superbly decorated. The living space is perfect. The light switches are just what you need. A Bose speaker to play your own music. USB wsl chargers everywhere. bathroomvshower is a pleasure with strong pressure. Bathrobe is for real people and wraps a big manfortably. Free internet is of highest quality I have seen anywhere. Over 100mbit and reliable. Only issue I gave is with the TV. Limited movie channels and the Samsung TV itself is very very slow at switching channels. Otherwise, I highly rmend this little jewel of a hotel. Another stunning Firmdale hotel. The best hotels within the world - and that s no exaggeration. I ve never stayed in any other hotel that rivalled a Firmdale. Stayed in a Deluxe Top Floor room; exceptional scenery of lower Manhattan! Beautiful and quiet room, and friendly and helpful staff. Amazinglyfortable bed, and exquisite decor in each living space of the building - even the corridors. Exceptionally clean - what each hotel should aspire to. An amazing hotel. The enhancement is fantastic! All the details are extremelly girgeous and confortable. Top location . The Firmdale Group now is my favorite. The living space was beautiful. The employees is weing, professional and helpful. The location is great for exploring Soho and beyond. This is one of my favorite hotels in New York. I stay here frequently. Location is great. Right at SOHO with plenty of good shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and efficient, providing lots of help. Restaurant is decent and feels young. The whole hotel is very stylish. Highly rmend. Great location. Nice restaurant with wonderful teas. Lovely room. Veryfortable bed. Great location and style I loved everything about this hotel!! The rooms were immaculately clean. The living space was beautiful! Bright, vibrant colors with eclectic detailing. Very funky and chic. Amazing amazing amazing! Love the light within the living space with wall to wall floor to ceiling steel windows. Room service very very quick. Requests delivered extra quick. Beautiful presentation on living space service trays. Housekeeping not bothersome but super attentive. The front work area employees so gracious concierge the same.... felt very safe and lots of employees and management atriums. Dining living space was excellent wait staff, food awesome. The hotel s location is great, next to streets providing an amazing shopping experience. The hotel is sheer design everywhere - a real treat for the eyes ! Largefortable living space full of daylight with the window going from the floor to the ceiling. Nice view at the 9th floor. The hotel employees is really nice, from the wee at the entrance, the friendly and efficient check-in and out, the cleaning team and with the concierges providing a real added value. Great morning meal in a beautifully decorated living space surrounded by terraces. It s the fourth
👎 When escorted to my living space the concierge was wonderful but did not remember me by name the messy few times I came in. Would like to be consistently greeted with a smile of recognition even if he did not remember my name. Just living space for upside thing, but if it was a little more affordable, would have stayed two nights instead of one! Small bathroom. tub.t enough outlets. Outlets only on one side of the bed. Room dark. chocolates. Small pedestal sink-hard to lay out toiletries. lighted makeup mirror. ONLY the limited number of free of cost movie channels. Everything jperfect thing. Room is a bit small. coffee or tea service in living space Limited toiletries- no shower cap until the last day I didn’t think the service or the amodations warranted the high price. For this price I would have expected the employees to bend over backwards to make sure we were happy, but I just found them to be ok, nothing exceptional. For example, the airline lost our bag and I didn’t feel like they helped out at all. They did call me when it finally arrived and offered to put it in our room, but when we got home it wasn’t there and I had to ask them to go find it. It was very reactive service rather than proactive which is what I expect when I spend this much. Also, the shower leaked water on the floor and it was a single rather than double sink within the bathroom. Again for this price I expected more. The morning meal employees is the weak spot of the hotel. With the exception of the manager, the service provided is polite but without care. What a contrast with all the other employees members ! Due to the high demand, the price was very high $800 night... High enough to encourage us to look for alternatives if this happens again. thing!, This in no way affected our enjoyment of our stay but if they really want to put the cherry on the cake, a Nespresso machine or similar within the living space would be very wee. Staff was generally unhelpful. Doormen frequently did not open doors, did not greet guests. Staff not as friendly or consistent as would be expecteded with some exceptions. Room interior design met expectations but functionally had serious issues. For example, toilets installed too high for proper use, ones feet do not adequately touch the ground impeding property anatomical use. Turndown service was a bit patchy and could have had 2sets of toiletries as we were 2 to the room. It would be nice if the hotel would offerplimentary coffee within the morning...upon departure I asked for a cup to go and upon my return home found I was charged for it, plus gratuity! Felt very petty after spending 700$ a night. The property is fantastic, but easily 2x the price of other SoHo hotels They need a Peloton bike within the gym. Can te up with anything Room service The concierge had a brisk, efficient and impersonal manor which could be interpreted as an attitude. coffee machine or tea pot within the rooms. : All Good! thing to dislike Ufortable bed and pillows tea and coffee making facilities within the room. Service at restaurant slow nothing thing isy plumbing needs attention thing The snow isy ACNoisy corridor near elevatorNo coffee facility in room ne Need duvet options - Added someone else s morning meal tab on my bill. 👍 Executive class elevator and grab n go morning meal bar was outstanding, location was great and all employees were extremely friendly and helpful. A very nice place to stay just a minute away from Times Square. The employees was friendly, the living space was big and lived up to our expectations and the morning meal a good suprise. I you are looking for a place to stay in central Manhattan, this is a hotel you really should consider! Location was great and all the employees were nice and couldn’t do enough for you. The take-away morning meal is good. The employees is nice. Eddie at front work area was being really nice and considerate. The location is excellent, the morning meal although not great was weed as we didn’t realise it was included plus John and William who served were super friendly. The concierge was helpful when required. The best thing about this property was location. Just a block from Radio City, 2 blocks from Rockefeller Center St Patrick s Cathedral. 1 block to Gershwin Theatre for Wicked!! Staff was super helpful over the 4 days 3 nights were there. We stayed within the executive part of the hotel and it was really good. The cleaning that I had read some other guestsplaining about was not an issue at all. Sure there are som stains within the shower but they are rust stains from the water pipes and not possible to clean nor are they dirty. The morning meal to go was a individual favourite, Starbucks coffee, a pastry and a fruit was great for us. Also the two guys who ran the morning meal were really helpful and super friendly! The beds were superfortable and the teve was really big. Based on our stay within the executive part we were very happy with our stay! Obviously, the location is high notch, but you do pay for this. The Exclusive elevator to the high floor is nice and whisks you from the renovated lobby to the renovated 18th, avoiding the unpleasantness in-between!The Executive King living space is small. But not by NYC Standards, and bigger than the POD hotels that seem to be the rivals to this. The TV is HUGE and the Nespresso machine very wee. The lack of space is largely down to the Massive King bed that takes most of the space. This is fine with us and the bed was out oasis after a day slogging around Manhattan. We fell into it and didn t want to leave!!!Breakfast was great for us! It s not much but all we needed to quickly head out and get exploring. And it was included so all good! The view was out down Broadway and was fantastic. The Street is VERY busy and VERYisy but 95 of all noise was filtered out. and the living space was sedate and quiet. Overall this Hotel exceeded expectation, it gets some really harsh reviews but the Executive class is really quite excellent and at the price, we paid excellent value for money. Lobby employees very friendly, excellent location, good living space size, large shower, huge TV and good coffee machine . Enormous beds. Nice to have selective elevator. a nice clean living space with good bathroom, very helpful and plesant employees and superb location. Location, right within the middle of the action. Very big living space with nice view down 7th ave 500sq ft corner room. Spacious shower and electric toilet haha. Private elevator to executive floor Bed was veryfortable, and in a great location. The living space 1831 is superb. corner living space suitefortable bed, great location. executive elevator Location. Nespresso. Direct elevator to executive floor What a lo
👎 Had to pay a $200 deposit on high of the living space cost upfront which wasn’t very clear before arriving at the property so was fortunate we had the funds to do so. Hotel rooms need an update as there was a two big burn marks within the carpet, light shades missing and struggled to open any of the cupboards Ummm... I think that they ve forgot to prepare my shower shoes, but I think its still fine. Where to start The reception is always packed takes too long to ask anything plus the employees generally unhelpful. Staying 6 nights and trying to get a late checkout was extremely difficult. The rooms are supposed to be updated but to be honest they are not the best, the linen has stain marks from pens, the cleaning of the living space was ok but the hallway on the 18th floor was filthy. Also getting to and from the 18th it was nice that we had an selective elevator BUT it opens and closes way too quick and we missed it so many times. There are no amenities at all so it’s a bit disappointing overall. Generally the hotel is ok but I wouldn’t rmend for more than 2 or 3 nights. Our onlyplaint is that it was very hot in our rooms. air conditioner available due to the property turning it off in October. It was cold while we were in NYC but the living space for some reason was super warm even though we had the heater off. We had to use fans in our living space and leave the window open most of the time. Otherwise great stay! The only thing that was a minor issue was the level of noise from the hallway, you can hear each single word that people say to each other. On the other hand you couldn t hear anything between the rooms. Fridge, and Ipad.t a huge problem but were advertised. Room was hot and Air con was not controllable from the room, as it was so cold outside this was bearable, but we have never stayed in a hotel where temperature control was not within the client s hands???Room could have been cleaner. It was not dirty and perfectly acceptable bit a few marks and stains let it down. With the lack of support that is present within the rest of the hotel these rooms could fall into disrepair quite quickly! No desk area. For an Executive class, you would think this essential as most execs would want workspace. Having to use the Laptop from the bed was an issue, but afy issue. Carpet was dirty and we had to dust the living space on arrival . Hotel ran out of shower gell. Gym was decidedly tired. quilt on the bed on arrival had to ask for one and would of expected a bit more from the Breakfast for the price If you like a big good morning meal you’ll be disappointed. There is a Starbucks with reduced assortment. Perfect for on the go or quick bite but not the usual morning meal buffet like other hotels have. restaurant, lack of refrigerator, bath robes and slippers. drawer storage. Hardly any hangers had to ask for more. The living space didn t have glasses even though it had a cut glass ice bucket. Apparently because they don t do living space service they don t provide glasses???. oh the other thing the windows are not one way vision so could be embarrassing for you and for people looking in They market an executive floor with upgrades. Limited improvements in a 3rd rate property. When I checked in they said they needed 10 minutes because booking. had not put the reservation in. 30 minutes later I pressed for an update and they said it would be at least an hour until a living space was ready, 5:30pm,

👍 great location and good security Location Great location, beautiful hotel, Central park view, delicious breakfast. I booked a one bedroom as well as a king size living space for 5 nights. The rooms were spacious and the location was wonderful. For late checkout they charged us over $300 each, morning meal for 2 adults and 2 kids was over $120. The prices were high but the quality of food as well as cleanness was very poor.t once they vacuumed the rooms, shower as well as the bathtub was never cleaned the whole time we were there. Had to call 3 times to ask for turnover service. I travel with my kids quite a lot but will never visit this hotel again didn t feel like they care about anything but how to get more cash out of you,... I guess the location will provide guests anyway. Great location and very nice staff. Perfect location near Central Park and Fifth Avenue. Lovely bed and pillows. Friendly and helpful employees including doormen. Location is really, really good. Excellent location next to Central Park Location was great living space furniture was better than usual Marriott usual classic style. I’ming back in September for the US Open. Love the hotel. Staff were very helpful and attentive to your needs. It s a high-end hotel on Central Park, with a park view. As such, I expected pretty much perfection, and, frankly, I got it. Wonderful View of Central Park! Very good location for exploring New York, Midtown primarilly. The hotel as such was nothing special but very fit for purpose of staying somewhere central for a reasonable price and with goodfort. Staf in restaurant en cleaning individual very friendly. Great rooms superbe locaties at the Central Park. The location and the first living space 3906 were great. Overall the employees is pretty friendly and service oriented. Juliette the F&B manager at morning meal was nice enough to waive the extra charge for 2 fried eggs and bacon which is apparently not included within the morning meal rate!!! I do not like congealed scrambled eggs that has been sitting around on a hot plate for several hours. Hotel was clean, fortable and in a great location. It’s a beautiful hotel, good location,fy bed,... Location Location excellent and concierge great ! We stayed at the Essex House the first time in 1964. The atmosphere and quality of the hotel and the employees is very professional. It s as quality as any place we have stayed anywhere within the world. Thanks for making our short trip thefort and joy we were hoping for, the week before Christmas. The location Great location, beautiful old property The concierge and the check in desk were the bright spots. Nice public spaces, good location. Clean, well-decorated. The service was excellent! We arrived early and were able to get early check in. Every request we had was quickly taken care of. Excellent location. We stay here each time when wee to NYC. Excellent hotel living space amodation and service. . was user friendly and no payment required until you arrive which isforting for security purposes. Also Great window for cancellation if needed. Great service and trip The hotel was ideally located for many attractions and subway use. Location Marble in bathroom The Worst hotel, I need to change the living space twice during 4nights of stay and the employees were all terrible. They were very unki
👎 the employees weren’t helpful except for the manager! very unintelligent and unable to amodate our requests. some rooms gave lound AC noises from an outside building! Reception attitude very bad, general service In the night while sleeping and my privacy button stuff tried to open to slip down the living space bill !!!!! Windows closed can’t open, too much air con within the hall and restaurant. The most impersonal hotel that doesn t show to care much about it s guest. My living space had a bad smell from start to finish and the air con was quite weak. It was also hard to get waters for fridge Rooms a bit small but not unexpected for an older property. Room was not good. The junior suite had three windows but all of them had a view of a wall only a few meters away, so barely any sunlight came in. I requested a change but was not granted one. Very dark rooms and NO view. Despite promisedplimentary morning meal for two persons per day, hotel refused to provide it. Hotel charged some minibar items despite they were not consumed - after appeal it was quickly solved. Facilities within the living space are very limited. coffee machine and tea at least. The air con system was not effective within the room. Just needed a little more explaination on the daily $25 resort fee and how you can use it. I thought it rolled over for the week. Hidden tax of $25 per day. This should be incorporated into the living space rate. You can offset this by using at least $25 per day within the bar or living space service. Good to know this before checking in. We requested a change of living space after the 1st night as it was located close to heating system or air con unit and we couldn’t sleep . We got a living space on the 18th floor which was a little smaller but had a partial park view The only real downside was the amount of drawer space turned over to stuff they sell snacks and a minibar fridge that was only good for their stuff. I would rather have had it for clothing. . s reservation didn t appear within the hotel s system when we arrived so we had to wait awhile for the hotel to find the reservation. Staff said the morning meal was not very impressive and rmended us going elsewhere. We appreciated the honesty of course but it s a little weird that they don t do anything about it... Otherwise nothing toplain about. The noise of the airco system from the building next to the hotel. Have been staying at the Essex House for the last 20 years . On this occasion the bath and shower in my living space were not working, it took an inordinate amount of time to find out whether it was repairable a whole day which it was not and then to find an appropriate living space of the same standard. So in general the employees are friendly and try hard but not impressed by the front work area Manager Julian who was not especially efficient in finding a replacement room. My Starwood card was not accepted, apparently I need to make a request for a Marriott card, which I will not do from I will never stay in a Marriott hotel again. Family suite had a sofa bed we had to pull out each night, plus we required an extra bed which was not within the living space when we arrived. Coat hooks within the living space would be ideal as there was no where to leave them. The restaurant reserved tables on New Year’s Eve for evening guests from mid afternoon meaning we had to sit at the bar to eat. All they needed to d

👍 I had a pair of Apple air pods stolen from my room. They were stored within the bedside table drawer as the in-room safe was broken. Location top-notch, rooms are surprisingly large for NYC,fy, present days and stylish. Only stayed one night and didn t have the opportunity to try the restaurants or most facilities, but everything looks good and I d gladly return to this hotel on my next trip Very clean, good living space and bed. Perfect location, spacious room, very clean. The living space was really nice andfortable. The size was great considering its location in NYC. The bathroom was incredibly spacious and really well done. The shower was really nice as well. The location is great to explore all around Manhattan. We would definitely stay here again it was super great value for our cash when youpare to other similar priced hotels. The lobby looks amazing and features aluxury and present days vibe to it. Also the FREE good WINE HOURS in NYC!!! Are u kiddin? My gf doesn t even drink but this cool treat made her share a couple of glasses with me. Location and employees were great Elegance of living space interior, marble bathroom, location. Location is great. Atmosphere is fun and hip I asked for a kettle to boil some water, and I literally got a kettle filled with dried fruit seeds in it. When I asked for another one, it took 45 minutes which I had to call to cancel because it was getting late. The employees went above and beyond for our bachelorette party! The suite was decorated beautifully and made us feel so special!! Also who doesn t love champagne?! I received extraordinary service and thoughtfulness. It was my birthday. The first surprise was an upgraded room, then bubbly and little cupcakes and the added touch of a individual handwritten well wishes card from the Eventi team. Loved the hot shower, thefy bed, the living space s quietness and possibility to open a window. Also appreciated the pleasant seating within the lobby for am coffee and newspapers. Had to leave my bag the next morning and that service was also prompt and friendly. Front desk employees was topnotch at checkin check out and giving directions. Really appreciated the clean exercise room, the yoga mat in living space and plentiful beauty products. Location . Location location .. I stayed at the Eventi years ago for work and decided to stay there again because I was arriving late within the evening at Penn Station and then heading out the next morning. It is really close to Penn stop without staying in Times Square or directly across the street with the crowds. It s convenient for walking to the Meatpacking District or Chelsea. The place was even better than what I remembered did they renovate? The bar is nice and the rooms are spacious for New York, clean and quiet. It was a really good rate too - I ll definitely be back. The location is in a great position, this is the plus. location, decor, fun vibe at the lobby. Staff is able to get me in my living space early which I hugely appreciated, the hotel is very quiet and clean. Room service came very quickly. Beds were superfortable. Location is great Everything was great. Well organized, efficient and friendly staff. Good food at the Vine restaurant. Wine hour from Five-6. Comfy beds and maid that cleaned the living space well into the afternoon. Great location with an easy walk to MSG, bar and restaurants. The employees was very friendly and amodating. Rooms were n
👎 Having individual goods stolen. Breakfast and laundry service too expensive paying for Wifi is a little outdated and should really be included within the living space rate these days.... ise from the adjoining living space through connecting door. A four-star hotel can t have rooms without any modicum of sound insulation. It sounded as if neighboring guests were in our room. There s a living space temperature fridge, an actual fridge would be great. Despite the heat, it was freezing within the living space forced air average insulation Some minor things to note but not as deal breaker: The rooftop was closed during our visit, which we understood given how cold it was. However it would have been nice to at least have access to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of the Empire State Building. The walk to the subway is 3 blocks away uptown, however I understand this isn t something they don t control. The minibar within the living space was fully stacked, however we didn t know if this was included within the roomrate so it would be nice to have a little note close to the bar to explain guess how this works. Also on the wine hours it would be nice to setup a little music to get the mood a bit more fun it could even be classic ambient music to be in line with the luxury mood within the hotel instead of no music at all It s definitely not a 5 star hotel with the 5 star price. It s not a 5 star hotel experience at all. There was nothing within the living space but shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The q tips were gross and the living space was extremely small. Room was very dated and small - living space was also dirty feeling, the furniture was very dirty - would not even dare sit on the chair it was so scummy looking. Would expect aplimentary couple bottles of water, but no they are $10 each isy lobby, loud music like in a discothek. You have to escape literally to your living space to find peace and relax. The lobby is packed and it feels like in a trainstation. Cleaning employees never restocked our toiletries like shampoo and conditioner. Light above tv broke. USB ports for direct plug in for charging. Some things needed fixing within the living space - bulb missing in bedside lamp, a lamp pull that disconnected from the chain when pulled. Dust under the bedside tables. The fridge door did not close so could not use to store my water bottle. Hardware within the living space are falling apart.. I stayed there 2 years ago it was new but this time .. the quality of the living space are not as good .. The problem is the level of professionality of the staff, absolutely not in line with a 5 star hotel. employees not very friendly ... sometimes rude on the phone specially guest service. asked for an extraforter wich was delivered without the cover. I’m a pretty picky person when ites to hotels and I liked everything about this one. The only thing I would have wanted is a coffee pot or tea pot in my living space to make my own hot water each morning. There is no coffee maker within the room. Would have loved a Nespresso, extreamly when leaving early within the morning. The only real issue I had with my stay was that the wait for an available elevator at times was a bit long. Shower was hand held and Awkward. Never could figure out how to get rain shower to work There was no service within the hotel. They took minimum of 5 min each time to answer the phone. they do not have a 24h menu and you have to pay to have your bags taken up by a bell boy. We had to m

👍 Staff excellent. Hotel very clean. Bedroom and bathroom veryfortable. Good gym. Excellent location on 5th. Room size very good vs. most other NY hotels. The location was amazing, and the bathroom was stunning. Staff were always hosting and free of cost hot cider and Hot chocolates on the lobby during the day! Everything!! It is my husbands birthday and in our living space was aplimentary bottle of champagne and cake!! Very kind and thoughtful Staff are super friendly and always knew our names. It is my favourite hotel The quality of the amodation, the central location great for mid-town Manhatten, but extreamly the employees who without fail were courteous, professional and couldn t do enough to help. Such that when we were looking for a taxi to depart the hotel for my wife s 50th birthday dinner they placed the hotel car at our disposal! In summary an excellent hotel and will stay there again without fail; can t say a bad word about the place! Great location, spacious living space with a nice big bathroom, quiet even though located on 5th Ave. Great, helpful and friendly employees in reception area. The door man was super friendly and really helpful each day. The employees were impeccable- so friendly, helpful and polite. The bedrooms were fantastic - sofortable and were so kind to give us an upgrade upon arrival. Couldn’t fault the hotel - small touches were so appreciated. Chocolate strawberries within the room, cookies on the bed at night, hot choc tea coffeeplimentary within the hotel lobby - all absolutely brilliant! We definitely return! The design ... the fact that it was spacious and the employees were very helpful Great customer service. it was my wedding anniversary and they gave us a corner living space - fabulous! Its a good location and rooms are clean Fabulous location, great rooms. For NYC they are a really good size. We would stay here again Amazing hotel! Comparable to the St. Regis or any of the other high end hotels. The staff, each single one of them very pleasant. The living space size andfort were perfect. I will certainly choose them again for future needs. The employees are really friendly and sweet the hotel is veryfortable and quite and we can barely hear the noise outside I loved my stay and definitelying back 5 years ago I was staying in this hotel and this time on my second New York journey I booked it again and wasn’t disappointed. Exceptionally clean, cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Very tasty breakfast! We enjoyed our visit! Special thanks to Jamal! Excellent location, most employees were friendly and courteous. A minor medical issue not at hotel was dealt with very well Comfortable bed, spacious room, nice gym, great location, excellent service. Location is great, perhaps thats all. Great overall property would stay again. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds and linens. Bathroom was clean and the tub and rain shower were a nice touch. Carpets in hallways need replacing. One of the only issues I had with property. Great stay. The living space was very nice, spacious, clean, andfortable, with a magnificent bathroom. The friendly employees treated us as valued guests and went out of their way to make us feel special on our anniversary. The location is ideal, and the lobby is elegant and beautifully decorated. Great Location, beautiful suite with kitchen and very nice bath and decor. Great Michelin star restauran
👎 The view from living space - i was there for 8 nights in a period that wasn t that busy. Room faced right onto another property, almost no view. The biggest disappointment with the hotel however was breakfast. If you enjoy a nice buffet breakfast, stay elsewhere. There is none here. It is a fancy white tablecloth waiter service only, at very high prices - 3 plates of food, one of which was a small bowl of oatmeal. 2 coffees. Average waiter attention. $88. The hotel removed this from the bill on checkout - this is an example of how great the employees are at this hotel, exceptional i would say. The bar is also part of this same restaurant, at equally sky high prices. I understand this is outsourced from the hotel, maybe this is why it doesn t really feel like its run for the hotel guests. This fact alone would mean that i probably wouldn t stay at this hotel again even though everything else is excellent. If you don t care for breakfast, take the no morning meal rate and stay here. Twin beds were too small. Comfortable, but small. thing!! thing! The employees within the restaurant was not service minded and food overprized My living space was horrendous, it was at the back of the hotel looking at a wall. The living space was so dark I couldn’t see anything, then within the bathroom the main mirror was a tv, but all I could think was it was a two way mirror which made me feel ufortable. I couldn’t have hated my hotel living space any more. thing! They have zero sound proofing so you will hear everything going on outside your room. You wont be able to sleep t much. There is no pool. And no sitting area for a coffee really. Just the bar which is pretty small and a bit dark for the daytime. Some of the living area furniture covering were a bit grubby, these could have been cleaned. Chips on some woodwork and stained carpets were a bit less than I would expect from a 5 star hotel. Management were informed but other than a standard email response, no further update provided Stain on the carpet, on-site restaurant not up to Michelin star quality for new year s eve dinner. Expensive, but no surprise. 1. You have to wait the elevator for ages all time.2. doors in toilet, except the glass partition. It’s really odd. Everybody wants to have some privacy.3. Guest service gives wrong information about services4. Food in inroom dining menu 3 out of 5. The spa was not as big as advertised. Access to spa is typically limited to guests receiving treatments. The hotel allowed access to propose and steam which was great but not a spacious spa. Minor point. There was a bit of a mimunication, and, as a result, our luggage was somewhat delayed reaching our room. The living space also had a faint odor. The final bill was very expensive and included several additional previously undisclosed taxes including something called a Jacob Javits tax and a hotel occupancy tax. They also charge exorbitant additional amounts for any snacks or beverages within the room. The elevators were a bit slow. Slow staff. Slow to pick up the phone. They don’t replace minibar item if you consume them. The doors have no sound proof of any kindCould hear the cleaning employees talking loud and banging doors all the time At checkout, asked for concierge to send someone to assist with 3 heavy pieces of luggage, 20min after I had to go by myself because nobody arrived. The hotel is old. The bed isn’tf

👍 morning meal excellent but expensive I love this hotel. I couldnt believe that it could be this nice. Location, people. the view; everything. Bed was veryfortable, great location, bellman service was exceptional, spa and fitness centre were lovely. The entire employees were great: personable, helpful. The concierge, ureddine Lakhlif, provided extreamly great, personalized service with a polished, hosting smile. We loved the location, the spacious rooms, the amenities, and the places to have a drink within the evening and coffee within the morning. Wonderful location with a beautiful view of the city skyline and St. patrick’s Cathedral. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful hotel. Would stay there again. morning meal was great and the employees was exceptional. we had a problem my friend fell and could not get up and we called security and they were right there to assist and the employees and extreamly the manager were fantastic. Great experience. Great room. Heated floor in foyer. Beautiful Bathroom. Beautiful place. Largefortable and well appointed rooms, great bars, easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We walked to Broadway plays two nights with ease. The location was probably the best part. I also enjoyed all the Christmas decorations as well as the Santa letter response to my daughter. That was a big plus. Location is perfect. Service and personnel are very nice, very professional. Hotel is clean and well maintained. In general the stay was good. The Christmas decor was gorgeous, as was the Villard restaurant. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The location couldn t have been better. Right within the middle of the main shopping area and close to Central Park and Times Square. The employees really make this hotel nothing is too much trouble and they always greet you with a smile. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful especially so over Christmas. The beds are veryfortable and the cocktails at the bar excellent. Everything s very 1st class. The location is great. The building and the formal rooms Rarities and the morning meal living space within the old Le Cirque within the original mansion are beautiful. Waheed, the bellman is great. The Room Service waiter was very nice. The doormen were nice and helpful. The scenery from our free of cost upgraded rooms were absolutely stunning at day and night. The location was also brilliant to get around New York. George has been there to wee me back as soon as I get out my car for over 20 years The hotel is beautiful full of the Christmas spirit The employees are all there just to make your short trip a wonderful oneGreat location a block from everything Every living space features abeautiful view Beautiful, elegant romantic hotel!!!! 👎 no charging in living space for iphones or laptopswifi charged extra which is ridiculous in this day and age. This is a high class hotel ; you would not expect to pay extra. rooms need refurbishing Toilet paper quality, politeness of employees in morning meal living space vellard There was a brown stain on the toilet seat when we arrived, whenparing to other 5 star hotels - noplimentary bottles of water in room. The prices in Pomme were way out of line. Two croissants and two juices were $40. nothing we were very pleased Call after dinner to check if we like diner.ise within the foyer like running water all the time. movies. Cant rent new movies. Its been a year we keep telling the hotel about it and they say it sing. Yet it s not. Only 2 old movies to rend at 20$ its absurd. refrigerator to use for some little food items for our kids. Its absurd. And no kettle to boil water. And no bath robes. Cover charge on living space service is too high. thing. The only issue we had which was our fault was arriving on the Madison Avenue side via Uber with luggage. They handled it very quickly by sending bellman to carry our luggage down the stairs. Maybe just how full the lobby was the last day that we were there. Elevators are impossible as they stop at each floor. You could wait long time if you are at a lower floorBeds need improvement, as mattresses are old. The worst if you request a car service is 3 times the price within the market for the same service. At this time internet should be included within the rate. Found employees unhelpful and quite rude. Twice living space service was cold and it wasn’t replaced or reomoved from the bill. Housekeeping was very poor often leaving living space without towels or clean glasses. Will not be returning. Dont like the extra prices which seem cheap and unnecessary. They charge $15 for wireless , They add 15 percent for restaurants. I thought it wouldn t bother us that there was no lunch dinner restaurant within the hotel, but it actually did. It features abar, a lounge and a tavern, but nowhere to take the kids to eat. I also was shocked not to have coffee within the living space or even free of cost coffee within the lobby for the high price we were paying. Charging guests for WiFi ispletely unnecessary. We had morning meal both in our living space and within the Villiard - I had read good things but was disappointed by the average food dry potatoes and small portions. Although the restaurant itself is beautiful. One of the security guards asked my wife to quit sitting the steps. He could have done it in a much better way then you can t sit there. Quietly were no one else could here. The movies did not work. There were only three movies available. The toilet does not flush well. Tony at the Mail Desk was not helpful. The charges for wireless and the cost of morning meal within the restaurant. thing this is my choice each time thing toplain about. Poor lighting in our room. Bathroom could use update. Shower tubbo uses a shower curtain. free of cost WiFi in a city like Manhattan! They wanted 79$ for Wifi which was very disappointing for a business traveler like myself. thing ..... everything was fantastic !!!! Housekeeping didn’t do a good job. The second day we stayed they forgot the bath mat and the shower caps. The third night there were no towels at all and it took them 3 phone calls and and hour to bring them to the room. They apologi

👍 This hotel s employees pays absolute attention to guest s each need. Whether it s finding a place to change out of suits after check-out, loading shopping bags out of rental car and taking it to the room, the help was excellent. The employees at check in was extremely sweet and the tea they offered on arrival was a nice touch. Our bathroom was large with double sinks giving us both ample living space to get ready. The scenery from the restaurant were fantastic. Room was amazing. Staffs are great. View from living space was beautiful. Room service is not good sorry to say ... t much Overall, the hotel employees members were great. Staff remembered we were celebrating an anniversary and sent us bottle of champagne- thoughtful gesture. The actual hotel looked little old and carpets within the hallways and rooms smelled a little bit. However, housekeeping organized living space nicely and put things away during turndown service. Service at Aviary was slow and waiters were ok, not very attentive at all. Cocktails were nothing special but had very high price tags. The actual space of the Aviary was nice and spacious. Breakfast at Asiate was tasty and wonderful space. Staff at Asiate were nice and attentive. The location of the hotel was excellent- quick and convenient access to other restaurants and shops as well as Central Park. Nice vieuw, great location, a lot of nice personnel . Great concierge Bill. Unfortunately restaurant individual spoiled it all. Spectacular views. Asiate restaurant and The Office Bar are superbly designed. Fantastic service from all employees throughout our stay, although check-in took a while with a few delays and errors of duplicating living space keys etc. Stunning restaurant, very cool bar extreamly The Office hidden bar. Bedrooms and bathrooms fantastic size for central NYC, great scenery and superb location. Pool very nice too. The location, the atmosphere of tranquility, Asiate, The living space and the morning meal living space were beautiful. We watched a snow storm from the lounge Andrew the night manager went out of his way to amodate us when the bar was full on Friday 3 Feb. he arranged for us to have wine at a table in reception. Well done Very clean property. The living space was well appointed, and while the workout facilities are small, they were clean and had everyone we needed for a good workout. The propose is small, but from I was the only person using it was fine for me. Service is amazing. Clean andfortable room. Amazing morning meal with a view. Nice Central Park view albeit somewhat blocked by the trump hotel. Great location with proximity to all major museums MoMA, Met, Frick, natural history, Central Park, and a Soulcycle. Bathroom and living space are sizable. The living space is very tidy, the staffs in reception are kind and patient. the living space dinner service are wonderful, the OX fried rice is very good. Location and attentive staff. Good overall service. raspolozhenie. everything about this place was excellent, that is why me and my wife chose this hotel over other hotels. it was our anniversary and we ll be back. we d have been sharing our experiences with family, friends and co-workers This is an amazing hotel: the scenery from the rooms located in floors 3Seven-54 of the Time Warner building are really impressive, but so is the aodation and all the setup. Nice andfortable bathroom, elegant furbishing Great staff, extreamly concierge
👎 It would be nice if there was some way tomunicate when I don t need new shampoos or body soaps. They replace them daily, which is nice, but most of the days, I did have lots left and felt guilty about generating trash. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world so I’m fairly knowledgeable about what to expect from a five star property. I’d say the Mandarin Oriental in NYC is an above average experience but most certainly not the kind of experience that one might expect. It’s like a vamped up version of a Hyatt. Food is just fair. The general ambiance is like a busy city Hyatt. Spapletely average and totally overpriced and COLD within the relaxing room. Rooms nice enough but nothing too special. I am certain there are many hotels just like this experience at half the price. The spa was the most obviously disappointing experience as I expected a zen like experience. It just wasn’t. In general, a nice enough hotel but way way overpriced and overrated! The Mandarin used to be the place to stay but I suspect they’re losing their selective cache within the marketplace based on what I’ve experienced! I understand this is NYC so everything is extremely expensive. I found the living space to feel a bit smaller than expected for the price paid. Although the living space was overall very clean, under the bed was dirty. It looks like they don’t ever vacuum under there. Room, view, surroundings .. are just perfect. They messed up our living space reservation and gave us a king instead of 2 twins. They moved my friend and I down from the 50th floor to the 47th after they tried to put us on an even lower floor 37th with no view just because the living space would be ready quicker mind u we paid over $1000 for a nice living space with the river view. Anyways the living space we ended up staying in had way less of a view. The mini fridge wouldn’t open in our new room, they didn’t bring us waters when requested, were rude to my friend and I not sure why maybe because we are young. I’m 21 but like around 18. Also they charged us a random $21 fee after we already paid the for the living space in full upon arrival then told us they it’s because their co worker messed up which he did not because when I booked it was $1125 then they told me it was 1145 when checking out so I had to hand them more cash when leaving mind you my friends and I didn’t use any services from this hotel... terrible customer service I am very disappointed with our stay wish they would have offer a small refund but nope I had to pay more lol! The hotel rooms felt slightly old and the carpets seemed a bit dingy. Minor things could have been checked prior to our stay within the living space e. g. only one large bath towel given all other towels were much smaller, phone in toilet living space kept falling bc not screwed in light on vanity mirror didn’t work, had to pay for WiFi. Again these are minor things but for the price point of the rooms, I believe these things should have been checked prior to guests staying within the room. In the bar all places occupied, I think customers of the hotel should always be seated. Restaurant I preordered table and on the day it suddenly was reserved . I don’t like when people tell ly to me. Between the corporate events, weddings, more corporate events, individual events and further corporate events, the ground level hall, the lobby and the Aviary Bar are very crowded and in practice not actually available for the customers of the hotel. Spa had a few young green aesthetic
