Courtyard New York Manhattan Upper East Side

410 East 92nd Street, Upper East Side, New York, NY 10128, USA

👍 Bathroom was spacious. Room and bed was veryfortable. Thermostat controlled the heat cooling veryfortably. Location on the Upper East Side was perfect, close to trains, restaurants and Metropolitan Museum of Art. Staff was excellent; after checking out I realized I left my hearing aid within the room. The employees was excellent about retrieving it for me. Thank you! Nice rooms, friendly employees in a quiet neighbourhood. Q-line, 96 Street Subway Station corner E 94th st 2nd Ave entrance just a Five-minute walk away. Get morning meal on the go at Starbucks next door to the subway entrance!Within walking distance of Central Park, Guggenheim and The Met 1Five-25 min Comfortable beds, nice view and location The staff, extreamly Yenny, were very polite and helpful. I thought that the facility was going to be too bare bones because there is no restaurant but the living space was spacious, fortable and provided all needed. Loved the neighborhood location with pubs andfort stores. Would book there again. The living space was OK.Very old facilities that hasn t been refurbished in years. The Location was excellent for us. What eggs? There was no breakfast! I loved the location I also loved the dailyplimentary morning coffee. I also enjoyed having the mini fridge. The shower was awesome The living space was very clean and the temperature was good The beds were great! It was on a pretty street. The living space was good sized and clean. Close to where I had to attend an event good customer service It’s a convenient location in upper East . Clean hotel, spacious rooms, fortable beds . Good value of cash . Close to Q-line subway stop to connect into Manhattan. Bus stops nearby. Very clean hotel. The rooms have coffee tea maker, fridge and microwave which is great. Excellent fast wireless . Close to mini-market and restaurants. We were very happy with our stay there. The location was ok and it was clean It was great location for what we needed, lots of restaurants near by. It would have been nice to have morning meal included or a pool Perfect walking distance to subway, central park and east river park. This hotel is great! Very clean and quiet; also present days with a hosting and knowledgeable staff. Location might cause some to skip booking here but for us, it was perfect.... easy taxi ride from LaGuardia, close to many good restaurants, an easy walk to the subway which goes EVERYWHERE, and taxis were plentiful around the hotel. Nice view Great location for stores and takeaway etc. All the employees were really friendly and helpful. Comfy beds and everything within the living space you might need. It was like most hotels nothing fancy Pillows are among the best ever The lobby is so sparse but it was clean. Our floor 6th was quiet but on Sunday afternoon the chamber maid were very noisy. Rooms are basic need to have an extra blanket in high shelf of closet it snowed on Sunday night. Ok location but it needs a little warmer employees . They seem to be more interested in chatting with each other than hosting guests Hotel lobby is bare bones basic so cold. Hotel employees very aloof. Our son lives nearby and our regular hotel has major construction next door so we were looking for a new spot as wee in 8 to 10 times per year.t sure this hotel is the spot. Did not feel they weed our business. It was close to Metro Stations, from which you can go anywhere. The area was nice and very residential. Nice value for the money. A plus to have a small refrigerator on room, from you can go to near byfort stores to buy stuff. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, from the check in employees to the maids, everyone played their part in making our stay a pleasure. The hotel is modern, clean andfortable. Staff is helpful and considered the standard of New York City is affordable. The location is good and quie

👎 A couple of more elevators would have been helpful. The living space was hot; the air conditioner did not cool it off and was VERY loud. Responsiveness of hotel staff. I have grounds to believe that a piece of clothing of mine was stollen within the hotel. I remember bringing it in my room, I was not wearing it at all during the whole stay, but for some reason I could not find it when I was leaving. Staff at the front work area were reluctant to react to my request to look into this issue, check lost and found, etc. Only upon my second request they started checking and could not find anything. And only after we startedplaining, they wrote down my email address and send me a nice email with apologies. Plus, this request was not the only one that went unaddressed for hours. Mirror over desk would have been helpful as then would serve as make-up area. The bathtub and the water pressure. smiles at check-in. offer of help with luggage, or anything. one even held the door for us to enter. We never did discover what the guy outside did. He didn t even greet us as we departed or arrived. Never offered to assist us hail a taxi. NOTHING! What a waste! All-in-all, the entire employees was a ZERO! Looks like all the COURTYARDS are going in this direction. We stayed in a couple within the east VA, PA, MD during April May, which were the same. The furnishings within the living space were dated and very worn. All the furniture including the desk, closet and cabinet was had multiple flaws includingchipped scratched and wood scaling. I though the price was high for the living space based on value For 1400 for 3 nights I thought we might have a bottle of water in our room. We were told we don’t have a living space with that amenity. Even at a $40 motel 6, I’ve had water. I was disappointed that there was absolutely no concierge service of any kind. The front work area was somewhat helpful regarding shuttles and local restaurants, however little else. I was also really surprised by the lack of anything but coffee at the morning meal bar. Would have expected more from an extended stay hotel like a Courtyard. Public housing across the street had window facing public housing bad view. Refrigerator was in a cabinet and difficult to open and very tiny. Local restaurants not permitted to deliver to living space door. the two queen beds - were only full size - very soft and ufortable - pillows flatten when used - we all tossed and turned all night I was staying within the fifth floor and it took a while for water to get hot . 1. The door lock and the door lock bolt of the living space we stayed are both broken luckily no one pushed the door when we were sleeping.; 2. The living space we stayed is really dusty;3. The bath towels even sheds, with the lint all over my hair after taking the shower.4. The hotel picture on the booking. website is very misleading so I booked this hotel. Still, thanks for the employees at the hotel though, efficient enough. The only issue that we had was with the air conditioner. The living space was not getting cold even after turning it down. Maintenance came in a timely manner. He changed the filter and put the temp a little more lower. That pretty much worked... I believe it was just the filter. parking was not included, had to pay an additional $65 a day AC made alot of noise. The showerhead pressure was too slow. A change machine within the laundry living space would be helpful when you are in a hurry. It was very good to have tea and coffee available within the morning but aplimentary morning meal would have been great just maybe bananas and some sweet rolls.... or yogurt. This is quitemon in many of the hotels we’ve stayed at and it is just a nice touch. ise from ajoining living space woke up at 7am Very annoying Seems hotel was not crowded to have people bunched upWe had asked for a quiet room Wasn t enough coffee cups within the living space there were 3 of us and they only provided for 2. Also c

👍 The size of the living space was more than adequate almost large by NY standards. The bed was veryfortable and the heating air-conditioning not too noisy. I liked the walk-in shower. I think the decor of the hotel was absolutely beautiful. The color palette chosen for the lobby and the rooms were polished, elegant, and conveyed a luxury experience Staff were great, great location near my office, and great price when my usual hotels were $500 per night. I had low expectations but work for a non-profit and hate to waste a penny, and the Tuscany was one of only 2 reasonably priced options near my office. But I loved it! I will consider it for each short trip I have from now on. Great location. Quiet, fortable, super spacious living space with a beautiful view of the Empire State Building. Lily at check in was very sweet and amodating. Loved this hotel and highly rmend. Massive suite for a great price in NYC with a huge bathroom, fortable bed, and living room. It genuinely surprised me when I walked in and saw the size of the place, and a plus was the fantastic view which included the sunset! Fantastic employees as well, and a good fitness center for travelers. A nice plus was the La Colombe coffee within the lobby. We stayed overnight for an extended layover in New York and really enjoyed thefort of the Tuscany. The bellman Adam was extremely hosting and helpful with any queries that we had throughout our stay. The living space was clean and spacious with an extremelyfortable bed and lovely bathroom and toiletries. The hotel also propose a car service to JFK for a flat fee of $75 The bed was veryfortable, the living space quiet and spacious. The lady who was cleaning the room, sang each morning ; Beds werefortable and we had a large corner room. The living space was larger than I expected. High-ceilinged, spacious rooms, excellent bed, convenient mini-bar with $10. daily credit, so you could actually feel free of cost to make use of it. Make-up mirror area adjacent to large closet off the entry hall gave a sense of graciousness to the room, not your usual rectangular box. The bath is small, shower only but perfectly adequate for the needs and very well-designed with high-quality faucet hardware and mirror. The living space was very large and the bed was extremelyfortable. The hotel was close to excellent restaurants, Grand Central and lots of shopping. The employees was very nice and helpful. I loved that we were able to check our bags before we could check-in and after we checked-out so we could still go around the city- that was extremely convenient. The deluxe living space was HUGE! Definitely bigger than I expected. Bed wasfy you could fall asleep easily. The employees was friendly and helpful and provided what you needed ex. There was no tea in their 24hr coffee access, but they sent up a kettle with teas and mugs to keep within the living space with no problem. Shane and Adam were the employees I talked to and they were genuine in wanted to assist and to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The living spacees with a minibar that features alittle space to put some other food in there to keep it cool if need be. But not a lot of room. Large rooms big bed and veryfy. large tiled bathroom, sure clean. lots of extra q-tips, cotton balls, etc. the employees was the best concierges, doorman from handling the airport or airdrome and luggage to ice within the room, five star staff. The bed was excellent, spacious and veryfortable. Great location walking distance to grand central and all other NYC main attractions we love walking The fitness center was large and had tons of equipment. I was able to get in severalplete workouts thanks to that. I would suggest updating some of the cardio equipment and weights. The living space was HUGE and included a walk in closet, nice bathroom with all necessary amenities, and afortable bed. I loved the options within the mini bar, though the beverages were significantly overpriced. I re

👎 The lighting was insufficient within the vanity area for applying makeup. The neighborhood is so so. Looks a little beat up but a few blocks away it improves. The bathroom was great and everything clean and modern, but there was no soap holder within the shower. A tiny thing but it felt funny to put the soap and shampoo on the floor of the shower. Probably easy to correct. An elevator broke down for 3 days during my stay which was not ideal - there are 2 which usually is fine, but not if 1 is down for multiple days. Some furniture and the curtains were passe. The hotel bar was not open, ever, and the only available coffee was 1 machine that did single cups within the lobby. And there was no milk or cream. I didn t like that there was a facilities fee and that I m still waiting for them to take the deposit fee off my credit card. thing to dislike! There is a free of cost coffee service machine within the lobby, so you can make custom drinks, like cappuccino, whenever you like. There is also an attended full bar within the evening which is a nice amenity if you are meeting friends or business colleagues. The view from the living space is of mid-block backyards, a usual NYC scene, but the view beyond this foreground of tall buildings further away lets you know you’re within the main center of one of the most amazing cities within the world. The bathroom was quite small. We arrived early before noon. We were able to store our luggage which was great. The employees promised to call us when our living space was ready. We never received a call. THIS IS NOT A DETRACTOR, JUST A SUGGESTION: The only think I would add is that a directory of nearby take-out places and restaurants would ve been helpful. We ordered pizza in and just had to see what Google Maps said was nearby. Having hotel rmendations would have been nice. The coffee at the 24hr coffee machine wasnt the greatest, but it did have numerous options. The tables within the living space still had cup rings on them which made me quwstion when it was last cleaned, but the overall living space and experience definitely made up for it. Everything else looked clean so it may have been an oversight. needed some attention to living space support touch-up paint hear and there, some of the furniture needed some refinish wood work. there was a crack within the wall that didn t show until you pulled the curtains back. There is not a single thing I did not like about the hotel. I would revisit it in a heart beat if I can. criticism of hotel but nyc hotel prices are so high! Upon arrival, I discovered that my mini fridge was broken, and I was disappointed that I was not offered anything for that inconvenience, nor for the fact that the restaurant bar was closed. This was not clear, and for someone on business travel, having available food is always a must. The sheets on the bed were ripped, and the living space could ve been a bit cleaner. I spotted crumbs on the carpets, below the bed, etc. The view from the 4th floor was not great. t the most pleasant experience. Booked a last minute living space to stay overnight in NYC. When we checked in In theory they gave us an upgrade, bigger room, didnt look clean and had a portable noisy air con unit!!! 4 stars hotel !! When we got into the living space we didnt notice the unit noise at the beginning from it wasnt on but then turned on within the middle of the night and it was like being on a plane! Iplaind within the morning and they took off the fee from the bill 30usd They said thats all they could do. The fee is mandatory so they took off what they had mandatory added to the bill!! A joke!!t the customer service I was expecting The air con could be a bit better. It barely worked in our living space and it was around 80 degrees all day and night. space to place toiletries within the bathroom. They offered one small soap for use at the sink and within the shower. slippers within the room, i didn t ask maybe they

👍 The location is great! Away from noise yet 2 stops from time square. The rooms were clean. For the price it was good place to stay. I would definitely stay here again. was great the location only 1 block away from the metro also many options of places to eat nearby, it felt a safe naborhood The hotel meet our expectations. The employees is amazing. Great location. Super clean. The bed was confy, bathroom was clean What morning meal ? food provided. Reception was good.... provided what I requested..... chair and blanket. Room was clean, extreamly bedding. Location is very good in that subway is only one block away. The employees is really bad and he don’t know what he’s doing when we ask him questions, when we tried to talk to him, he constantly rolling his eyes and not even looking at us.. Great morning meal choices are offered at Manhattan Dinner, next to the subway station. Ten minutes walking from the hotel there are some bars and restaurants. I rmend Gabriela , a Mexican restaurant for dinner or lunch, it is a bit expensive but their food is great. They have as well a good menu of tequilas and mezcals. staying across from my old apartment which is now sublet, but to which I still have access with the permission of the renter, and having access to all my old haunts -- restaurants and bank, etc. The location is perfect. Very close to the subway. Lots of shops restaurants around. Close to subway and eateries. Location was decent Friendly staff. Great location. They took the time to assist any question a first timer needed to ask. The subway map and explaining how to read it was really helpful. Well located, very clean place, quite cheappared of the other possibilities in Manhattan. The living space service is great ! The TV and the wireless were great ! Nice getaway spot for the weekend. Price is reasonable and within the upper west side neighborhood. Very convenient because the 123 trains are only around the corner. The location was great. The beds were alsofortable. Hotel was in a good location, a little out of the city centre. Nice Shops and restaurants near by and subway very close. Located right next to a major subway entrance. Near Central Park Friendly staff. Answered a lot of questions and very helpful with getting grocery around the hotel. New York is crowded and tight but the beds and rooms were clean beyond what I was used to for New York. We lost our 2 bed, bedroom the next day because I forgot to extend our stay but the employees was gracious enough to get us a living space with a bunk bed which was nothing like the dingy ones you see in casual hostels. It could sleep two well because my girls are small and living space though small had a heater and TV. My girls thought it was cool to pay half for it so they could use the cash to shop. Sharing the bathroom is never cool but it was clean and we only had a day to use it. Overall, a nice quiet stay within the middle of the city that never sleeps. Close to Central Park, a $25 Uber to Times square. Next to all the sights in Harlem where we wanted because I have friends who have lived there for over 30 years. Bed was clmfortable, employees helpful 24 7, location was perfect. Close to Central Park, Times Square by using metro, Hudson River etc. Priceeee was nice ; The front work area employees is excellent and very amodating to my requests. The living space was clean and quiet. I have already booked my second

👎 The lobby and halls could use a carpet cleaning. there wasn t something that I didn t like I also liked the towels lol The building temperature was TOO HOT all the time. We had to ask to please put more shampoo on the shared bathroom I didn t like themon area where the fridge and microwave were - microwave was very dirty, I didn t dare to heat my food there : There are no kitchen facilities; no sink, counter, table, kettle...... so that one could not prepare food properly. The place looks sleezy because it needs to be thoroughly cleaned ... halls, elevator, fridge. Old carpet makes it look dirty. Shower on 4th floor was burning hot.... had to keep turning tap to find medium temperature.... Tap kept going back to hot. thing........👎 Our living space was next to the floor door and was very noisy. - Dirtiest place I ve ever been so far, and I ve travelled a lot, you just couldn t step into the bathroom.- The living space was cold, the heat was broken and they didn t fix it though I told them. They just gave me a blanket.- Ufortable and tiny bed.- You could hear the other guests in their rooms.- The employees didn t show hospitality.- They make you pay to save your baggages for a couple of hours after the check out. I wouldn t evere back here. the construction on the street when I moved in but it was gone by the time I went to sleep and that s not the hotel s fault. Also, I asked for a quiet room, but even tho I got one on the street, the windows are fairly soundproof so I slept fine. The hotel is very dated. I was bothered by the loud noise the radiator pipes were making within the wall. Had to sleep with earplugs and even that didn t help that much. Poor customer service, had to change living space due to individual bath breaking but I had to insist a living space change. They did not offer. I had to ask for fresh towels. The shower did not work. When advised at check out, the desk attendant s answer was to have a nice day. The bed was clearly old and worn. thing The living space was very small, you need to be aware of that. About 5m². The living space was extremely cold, we were freezing the whole time. The windows are so old and so bad, the wind was blowing inside the room. It was nothing like on the pictures, the living space was extra small. The hotel does not look like it does within the pictures, rooms are tired looking and bathrooms are old and dated. Walls are very thin so noise is a problem. Our living space was meant to have a sink in but on arrival it was a totally different to the picture and no sink. Room was serviced each day and clean towels provided, beds were remade but not with clean sheets. Bed was ufortable, hallways smelled bad, kind of loud, and the toilet kept clogging up. Hard to say. It was a 3 day stay and it could have been the shared bath and toilet but never saw it dirty. i would hope it is cleaned more than once a day. If you’re traveling alone better if you book double living space and pay a little bit more. Otherwise you may get small living space with bunk bed, next to vending machine and pipes. Was a little too loud and I couldn’t do anything about it. ; The fridge within the lobby that ismunal needs to be cleaned out more often!!! Other than that is a great stay for international students like myself!! Rooms were small. heat. Gave me portable heater that did bot work and was pulling out electricity and turning out lights. Had to ask employees r

The Jane

113 Jane Street, Greenwich Village, New York, NY 10014, USA

👍 The enhancement was interesting... it’s like a ship inside. They also have a club downstairs. The 1907 vintage was fantastic, it feels like a walk back in time as if all was left as is from the 1900s. The single living space cabins are small but well planned and storage is good. Safe area 5 minutes walk from the subway and several dining options within walking distance. The hotel is amazing, tones of interesting and unusual interiors and features. There are a lots of cool Jane hotel paraphernalia within the room. The shower is amazing! The location is incredible, so easy tomute to and from. I like that it was easy access to the City Loved our Captains Cabin room, great decor andfortable bed, excellent bathtub. Friendly and helpful staff, GREAT location. I loved the feel of the whole place, I felt like I had been transported in time. From the employees to the decorations, to the living space itself, it was fantastic. I will say the living space single was small, but that didn t really bother me because the excellent price, location, cleanliness and friendliness of the employees more than made up for it and from it was winter it was really quite cozy! I also really appreciated the bathrobe, towels and water! I absolutely love staying at the Jane! This is my second stay and I m already looking forward to my next. For the money, you can t beat the value! The employees is extremely friendly and attentive and the shared spaces are always clean. Excellent staff, excellent chef; friendly helpful staff; unique historic property. Good location for accessing transportation, museums, The High Line, restaurants, Greenwich Village. I opted to economize; the shared bathrooms were well designed and kept clean. Fantastic old-style authentic hotel. Amazing view over Hudson River to Jersey-city. Great neighborhood - calm and charming. Great bed and pillows. Renewed restroom facilities. 20-25 mins to most of tourists attraction by metro. Very clean indeed. However, the rooms are really small, and there was just one shower on my floor for roughly 40 rooms. It was surprising to find the shower available at two out of three mornings, though it may be related to the season. For the price the place is great. Easy walk to the subway on 14th street and 2 stops to MSG. Second time staying here and I enjoyed it. Nice little restaurant and bar and the place is really clean and employees is super helpful. Overall excellent stay and I will definitely be staying here again. The best thing about The Jane is defo its unique style. The rooms are quite small but still good enough for a short stay. Frindly staff, very nice bar and restaurant, and great location. The employees was okay, some were more friendly than others. The bathroom was clean, the showers were nice and hot. The location is good, close to the Whitney Museum, Chelsea Market, within the Meatpacking District, with a subway closeby that gives access to the other parts of the city quite easily. The Jane is our favorite goal in New York City. First, the location within the West Village--with a view of the Hudson River--is superb. It s a great, walkable neighborhood that we love, and we don t mind having to hike a little to get to the subway. The proximity to the Hudson River Greenway is a huge bonus, and we re steps away from Chelsea and central Greenwich Village. The hotel itself has the best employees I ve ever encountered. They are personable, pr

👎 The living space was extra small and too hot due to they have a centralized system, so you cannot change the temperature. I asked about it and they suggested me to open the window... in January... I think it doesn’t worth the cash I paid for it. I believe that the shared bathrooms should be gender specific. I felt a little strange trying to go shower and a guy was there washing his hands or teeth or going to the restroom. thing The living space was a bit cold but we received extra blankets and bundled the heavy curtains into the window alcove and it heated up. The sharply toned security employees of the nightclub are unable to identify who are guests trying to enter the hotel to proceed to their living space and who are nightclub goers. You will be greeted by a long line of people blocking the entrance as they wait to enter the nightclub. We had orders of where to stand barked at us by security when trying to go to our room. The employees will not treat you well two guys aside who were awesome! But truly felt like they didn t care about me or the fact my living space was litrally so hot I couldn t sleep, there respone was so belittling I just gave up. Can’t think of a real criticism. It would be good if the lights were slightly brighter within the living space and if you could control the heater. It was winter but at some stages, it did get really warm. Once I opened my window and used the fan it was okay but it was a bit ufortable at some stages. The rooms are very small, but that s no surprise! It s actually quite cozy and very well laid out! The sheets felt like a mixed fabric rather than all cotton. TOO NOISY DURING THE NIGHT !!!! I phoned them at 1 am and they gave no response. I couldn’t fall asleep until 3am. Nest day morning they told me it was the bar that played the music . My living space was overlooking Hudson River which is amazing. But there’s also a big road busy 24h day. So it was rather noisy to sleep. Hope they’ll make the sound isolation one day Although it was not a big problem but metro stop is ~Seven-10 minutes walk away. Sometimes it was tiring to go back and forth. Service could have been a little better within the bar restaurant but I m notplaining. The carpets that were all over the hotel looked worn and unhygienic. There was a permanent bad smell within the corridors: something like cigarette smoke, I think. I stayed in a standard single room. It was not possible to control the radiator it was controlled centrally, so the first night the living space was really hot. Even with the window open, it remained too hot. I turned on the airconditioning, but that made so much noise that even with earplugs, it disturbed me all night. The next day, the employees offered me a different room, which I accepted thankfully. I stayed in another room, in which the heater seemed not to be on. It was therefore rather chilly. The beds were okay, even though I could feel the springs of the mattress. The walls of the living space were paper thin I could hear the neighbours and everything that was said within the corridors. I had booked the Jane Hotel not only because of the price and the location, but also because of the history behind it. I was looking forward to seeing the ballroom, but unfortunately I was not allowed in. The ballroom was closed for the duration of my stay and not even a short peek was allowed even though I asked several times. That was a pity, as it was one of the reasons for booking a living space in this hotel. Over

The GEM Hotel - Chelsea

300 West 22nd Street, Chelsea, New York, NY 10011, USA

👍 The location was great and liked that my living space had a safe that I could use for free. Size of the living space was great. Location was great as always. Staff was friendly and the shower water was hot. I also like that they stored my bags while I went out for the day, free of cost of charge. The morning meal was amazing, with fresh options, beautiful presentation, served by a very nice waitress. The front employees is second to none, they were very knowledgeable, yet friendly and knew exactly what to advice. Their options of restaurants, spas, directions, phone cards and etc were precious and it made all the difference. The living space wasfortable, clean and offered water, coffee and internet. The location is daunting at first but it is within the heart of the city, close to the Cathedral, the turtle lake, the beer street, restaurants, spas and etc. All walking distance! Location is good Excellent location within the heart of Chelsea district in Manhattan with convenient access to many attractions, shops, restraunts. Excellent location. Professional, friendly, personable staff. They were always available for questions, concerns and excellent rmendations on local restaurants. A special thanks to Cosimo and Reilly. Comfy bed, nice bathroom and friendly staff Location was great. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Bed was very low, butfortable. Room was smaller than we had expected and a bit hard for two people to sharefortably. Had we been there for more than one night it would probably have been too small. Still, given the price, the size of the living space was a reasonablepromise. When wee to NYC again for an overnight we would certainly consider staying there again. Kind staff, good location steps from a subway, clean, quiet, and a great value. Slightly smaller than a pod hotel nearby, but more than enough space for a two day short trip business traveler. Beautiful lobby, helpful staff, amazing location! The living space we had was definitely tiny, but hey, it s New York! It was stillfortable and had everything we needed. Close to good restaurants and Chelsea market. Quiet and upscale boutique feel. The employees was very friendly and helpful - hotel was clean, present days and a great value for the location! Lobby bar and rooftop patio with scenery of the Empire State Building were a nice bonus. The living space was small but perfectly clean and well appointed. We ll definitely stay again! Good location if you want to stay around Chelsea. Good service at the desk. We arrive early and they let us space to save our luggage. The blower within the bathroom was really good, not a cheap one. They have a fitness center within the basement and it’s fully equipped. The employees are very nice and helpful. I also love Chelsea this area after regentrification. Staff were friendly and efficient, location was very easy to reach, just above the metro Location was the only perk. Great location, 20 min walk from Times Square. Subway close by, Chelsea is a gorgeous area. Staff were kind and told us where to eat. Rooms kept clean daily. The employees was excellent! I would love to stay here next visit. The employees member who checked us out was the only pleasant part of the 2 day stay. He was nice and helpful. That was it. everything, location is the best, the stuff was very very friendly, the living space was very cosy andfortable, small but extremely clean, it wasn’t my first time in NYC so I was real

👎 The bed pushed against the wall with the curtains right on that side of the bed. The curtains were a bit dirty so I slept on the other side of the bed to ensure I would note close to the curtains. Also, I think there were some guests that may have been smoking pot as I could smell it in my living space and right outside my hallway. The next day the pot smell was within the hallway by the elevator. For starters, the TV didn’t work. I was told the tech was gone for the night. The employees was friendly and asked if I wanted a living space change, it’s was already close to midnight and I didn’t want to change rooms that late, so I declined. I did find long dirt blond hair within the washcloth, which was surprising as I’ve stayed there many times within the past and never experienced that, oh and I’m bald. It also appeared that building may be under new management because at 8am or maybe earlier you can hear the conversations within the hallway. I looked out the peep hole and saw a manger giving a tour to a guy taking pics. Way to early for me to have been up. The rooms could have a facelift, however, the employees and the service made all the difference. I would def stay there again and would rmend. The living space was really tiny, dark and noisy. water or fridge within the room. The internet code changes daily and almost never worked and when it did the speed was non existent. I checked out 1 day eRly because there was no internet and they would not refund me. Double living space was quite small even for one person, let alone a couple n a Awful fitness living space and the bedroom was a lot smaller than it looked on the photos. Even though I had my Dot Disturb sign on the door, the cleaners were shouting to each down the corridor. Otherwise all good Size of the living space made it seemed cluttered even with the small amount of stuff that we brought. Might be a bit cramped for an extended stay. Everything was great, just one weird issue! The cold water in our sink would remain very warm for about Two-3 minutes after turning it on, until it finally ran cold. A little annoying when trying to get a drink, but not the end of the world! Small rooms but well done, boutique feel. Lovely employees with upscale lobby and bar area. Happy hour was nice for half price wine and coffee.thing bad at all. Checkout its at 11am. We had a person knocking out our door at 11:10am. We Were supposed to have late check out, but that didn’t happened. The lobby it’s well designed but the furniture it’s not on the best condition. I find the price kind of high for what you are paying. The living space was clean and really really small. I know, it’s the city, but I’ve been on even smaller bedrooms and 10fortable. The employee-lady- knocking at our door for the checkout was really awful with us. The living space is a little bit small, btw, soundproof is also not good. I stay at New Year, so the price is sky high! The living space was tooooo small, we cannot even fit our luggages on the floor. Very noisy living space too because of the windows Room was so small we couldn’t even open our suitcase. Website ispletely misleading.thing about The Gem is upscale. Bed was horrible. Room was run down and unclean.ise from other guests kept us awake ALL night.t worth the $. There’s no restaurant within the hotel however there’s lots in walking distance which was great, rooms are very small but for the amount of time you’re there it doesn’t matter. I lik

👍 Very spacious andfortable apartment. Well appointed kitchen with goodies basket. Fully stocked supermarket in next street. Subway stop nearby. Very clean and good value for money. The apartment was a pleasant space and the owners were very nice. It was very close to the subway and Central Park. Nice bed and adequate space for two people. Complimentary coffee, tea and milk provided upon arrival was very helpful. Wifi worked quite well. Host was helpful and amodated our late arrival after 9PM. Thank you David. The apartment is well appointed and a hidden oasispared to the activity on 3rd Avenue. NY subway really handy as are supermarkets, a pharmacy and eateries. Veryfy bed Great value for money. Only short ride walk to attractions. Block from subway which is then 10 15 mins to anywhere on island Nice apartment Quiet neighborhood Close to subway Location Kitchette. Location. The host is very friendly Very clean and modern. Host, helpful. The apartment is well maintained.

👎 Shower taps. Motor Vehicle noise within the street at night covered by turning on air conditioner. we were delayed and arrived after their restrictive ‘normal’ hours. It was difficult to get hold of the owners and for a time we thought we would be homeless on a freezing December night. Similarly on leaving there was no obvious provision for leaving bags for those hours between check out and departure. The shower was a challenge though we eventually worked it out. Guests should be aware that any check-out after 10 am costs additional cash US$ 60 for stay to morning 11 am, or US$ 120 for stay to 12 noon !! lift was an issue but David assisted with our bags and gave us a living space on the 1st floor. we were on the road for 7 weeks. Entrance to the property is difficult to see at night and the property is hard to recognize from the booking site photographs. Only one set of keys Was not sure how to collect keys. Did not know until i got there. air con in bedroom; sofa bed a bit ufortable. Neighborhood

👍 I like the decorations and the lobby restaurant area. The employees was helpful and location was amazing. Koreatown is a great place for food without the crazy crowds of tourists. Cleanliness and quiet apart from restaurants. Shelley at the front work area stood out as one of the most amodating, courteous employees members I’ve encountered. The restaurants and cafes were not only convenient; but also very popular and had great food and drink. Good location, fortable rooms Great location. Love the funky old hotel and the refit is nice. Great coffee and nice bar staff. Every employees is really kind and helpful! The bed was reallyfortable. The living space has everything except tooth brush and paste. The location was great. Convenient access to many restaurants and transport. Overall the historic side of the hotel felt nice. Great fitness center to go to 2 blocks away. Very close to subway station! Staff is super friendly, living space is quite big and impeccable! I love the Redbury! Super convenient location though not the coolest area itself, great decor, nice bars restaurant downstairs. Access to Equinox fitness center is AMAZING. Nice space. Lots of good restaurant within the hotel. My wife and I have stayed at the Redbury hotel before. We love the location of the hotel and the employees is very hosting and amodating to our each need. We tried the restaurant downstairs, MARTA and it was very good!We will definitely being back again. The living space was small but great for two people and understandable for NY. The employees were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean and the toiletries smelled great! The location was great for our family and the employees were really helpful. Excellent location! Great hotel in a good location Bathroom... lobby... food locations downstairs... different exits. The Value of finding a good place, good price, at the last minute. Also they included a free of cost fitness center pass which is wonderful. This is a classic older hotel with a very chill vibe. Loved the location. And the room. Desk employees were exceptional. The employees were friendly and very receptive to my needs. Arrived about 30 minutes before check in time and they were very amodating. Already making plans to stay within the future! The suite was a good size for a family of 5. Bigger than we exoected I stayed for 8 nights during Christmas 2018. The location is very central, next to a subway stop and many bus routes, walking distance to 5th Avenue and Madison. The single living space I had was quite roomy, and clean. The bed and pillows were superfortable. Staff is polite extreamly the cleaning crew. I was lucky to get this hotel on a secret deal 2 days before I was to fly to NY. I cancelled my Long Island City hotel and switched my stay to The Redbury for the same price. Best decision ever ! Wonderful Staff, very friendly and amodating. I arrived earlier than planned, and my living space was ready. Great location. Ariel from the hotel bar was super nice. Room was clean and crisp. Friendly staff. Property in walking distance to many attractions I enjoyed the style of the room. Service was pretty decent. When I needed something they were quick to get it to me. Great location. Helpful employees - Who very kindly amodated my request for early check in. Will definitely stay again. The living space was spacious and toiletries were neat and clean. Morning

👎 The living space was smaller than expected with very little living space to walk around the bed to get to the bathroom. They should have had more accurate pictures. Would love a full length mirror in room; some chairs, not only stools, in Marchio and Vini Fritti; some movie streaming TV options, not just cable. They wrongly put $30 worth of minibar items on my card. After multiple unreturned mesages, I finally got someone on the phone who fixed it, but no apology. They have charge me twice my 3 night I was staying, When I called to the hotel to understand why they were rude and un helpful with me on the phone. I will nevere back to this hotel The windows in my living space bathroom were paper thin - cold air and noise as if the window were open. Breakfast is overpriced, no vegetarian options it s a pick two and the only vegetarian option is Oatmeal. But the worst thing was that the internet is simply worthless. I couldn t stay connected for several meetings. Inexcusable for a business traveler. And there is no place downstairs within the lobby to do a call - very noisy, etc. A construction was infront of the hotel. But it is not forever! Hope it is done soon. The employees was not very amodating. They promised to provide a firm bed that I requested when I was booking. However, did not provide it and when I asked about it, they said we don t have such beds and were not willing to do anything for me although I have a medical condition which requires a firm bed. So I guess indifference and also misinformation is the words I m looking for. For most of my other requests the answer was also, sorry we just can t help you The only problem is when the next door is showering we can hear the sound of water flowing within the pipe quite clearly.. but it was too bad! Would love a coffee maker within the room! That s it! Room was not exactly plush. Doors between the suite rooms were sliders that provided no privacy. Sink area was surprisingly tiny. Windows were thin and allowed a steady stream of cold air into the room. thing As with a lot of places in New York, it was quite pricey; both the cost of the stay and the extras within the room. The pillows were super fluffy, which would normally be a bonus but they were so fluffy that neither my partner nor I could sleep on them without wrenching our neck. The good thing was it asked about it after the first night and they sent us up six other pillows to try. Cables not working in desk which reception knew about and tried to charge us for an adapter Staff in cafe wouldn’t take cash for a tea can only charge to living space or pay by card which I was unaware of I checked out at 11am and ordered the tea at 6pm before we left for airport or airdrome the tea was made and he would rather throw it out than accept cash from me which was crazy and ruined my experience at the hotel Room service took to long and living space was extra small they only showed rooms that were nice Well it s NYC, rooms a little small overall. breakfast. Parking was tough in that their garage is a block away and there was no Bellman to assist with baggages right out front. That was tough. Also, their front work area concierge was IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of for questions. I drove down from many hours away and was on the phone the day before and the day of for over an hour on hold trying to ask about early check-in ask about parking. The only person I could connect with was obviously re

👍 The location is great, definitely not much traffic around so it was easy to get cabs and etc. The door men were all super friendly. The bathroom is very clean and probably newly refurbished? The design is nice. Comfortable hotel and great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Chris at the front work area for upgrading our room!! Thank you. Great location for getting to offices in Midtown and very convenient location. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Helpful employees for the most part... good food and many near by restaurants. Great location near Central Park. Easy access to all attractions. Hotel is in great location, absolutelly! Veryfy big rooms. Neighborhood Very clean, nice and present days . House keeping was very attentive and paid attention to detail . Actually thought housekeeping employees were the friendless too! We had the 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious with plenty of bathrooms which is very important to us however this doese at a cost ! Breakfast outstanding! Very busy so we ate at the bar it was perfect. Happy hour drinks.... again super busy. Took too long for service but they acknowledged and treated us to a drink! They did the right thing for sure! The employees at the reception - extreamly Christopher, and Andrew at the concierge - were exceptionally good and helpful. The hotel is very well located and this is the major reason for meing to this hotel occasionally during my quite frequent trips to NY. Also the housekeeping employees were very helpful and professional on the 11th floor. I always stay at the Regency Hotel. I love the location and also that is not a huge hotel, and I know the employees for many years and they are very kind and polite and caring The employees were excellent and did everything to assist - including providing transport the the Theatre. Great location. Size of room. Staff were all nice, one day I came back from a run and was really hot and the doorman rushed off to get me some ice cold water which was really appreciated. This hotel is perfection in each way. The employees is excellent and the concierge employees is extraordinary.... Robert is extreamly wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful. Location near subway and central park, staff, cleanliness and most importantly: very quiet rooms! We were staying street side on third floor only, and living space was still very quiet. The mostfortable rooms ever Room 1625 was heaven. Very quiet and so relaxing The hotel had a very relaxed vibe All employees was amazing .. from living space employees to concierge Cannot rmend it more highly The Grand Studio King living space is superb. Tons of space for two adults and a child sleeping on the sleeper sofa. The bathroom was large with more than enough living space for two. The employees are incredible and very weing. A true home away form home. this will be my go to hotel when im in NY for business or pleasure. The bed wasfy and the check out easy. Fantastic experience! We arrived at the hotel later than expected. We were warmly greeted by Abdul who upon requested upgraded our living space to the 20th floor with a balcony overlooking Park Ave and offered at 1pm check out. Let me just say, Wow!! The amodations were wonderful. The living space was bright and clean. The Julian Reed products were great and they had the Best hairdryer I have ever found in a hotel room!! Upon checkout Kayra and Rosina especi

👎 Because of the small lobby you feel like there’s so many people within the hotel. Also I stayed on the high floor but the walls are so thin so I could literally hear everyone who was by the lift even though my living space was within the corner so it was quite disturbing. Also my living space within the booking pictures did not look like the actual living space I stayed within the pillows can be more firmer. Also a huge let down was the lighting within the room, there are NO ceiling lights, it got really dark at times as the other lamps weren’t enough. I travel to nyc frequently for work and the living space service prices here are a bit shockingpared to other similar hotels. Very large and busy! Some employees wonderful some less wonderful. Diet coke does not need to be $10!! $14 for a bottle of mineral water. Then with the tip it was $16. Very expensive for drinks I do not know is it ok, but during 6 night stay there was no bed linen change, supossed to be after 3 nights. They lost one of the rooms of my reservation through booking.. For tthat reason they could not attend my request to have two connecting rooms, which was extremely necessary from I was traveling with 4 children The location was a bit too far out for what we wanted to do. Even though we researched this it was further than we expected to be for the main attractions that we booked. That said we did enjoy all the walking! The hotel bar was extremely busy each time we tried to get a drink seemed to be popular with business people not the right place for a family pre dinner drink which was disappointing as we stay at 5 star hotels a lot and always enjoy the hotel bar. My husband and I visited the hotel twice in a period of 8 days . The fist visit I got sick with acute gastroenteritis. The week in between our stay my husband was fine. The following week we returned and my husband got sick with the same. And I got sick again. The onlymon denominator was the hotel. Something within the hotel made us very sick. I miss a nice lounge area within the lobby, and find the noise within the lobbying from the bar restaurant really disturbing - not the kind of atmosphere you want to find when you enter the hotel after a long flight and jetlag. I dont find the menu or the quality of food - whether dinner or morning meal - nor the service within the bar restaurant adequate for a hotel of this type. I didn’t like that I arrived late within the hotel at 9. pm and that I booked a living space with a king bed in a superior categorie of room, and there was no living space within the category I booked available for me ...:: I was offered a suite with 2 small rooms, that I didn’t like, and I was told this was an upgrade, I said I didn’t want and I went to a standard king bed room, aand next day, after 2 pm, I moved to the living space I booked. And when the bill came, I was charged within the first day, as If I have stayed within the categorie of living space I have previously booked, and I had toplaint The wait time for morning meal was a bit longer than we expected. The living space could have been more cosy with nicer little touches. The bar was ridiculously expensive. The Restuarant was pricey tea or coffee available within the room. Staff looked bored on my arrival and when Iplained about a huge overcharge error $800 plusthe manager didn t bother toe out of his her office. Seton Hotel

144 East 40th Street, Murray Hill, New York, NY 10016, USA

👍 Very clean, nice little room. The public bathroom is great. Clean, fortable and cosy rooms small but reasonable size for NY. Relatively quiet. Very nice staff. Great location. Seton has the best possible location, near the grand central terminal. The living space was very clean, fortable and everything worked fine. Bathroom was spotlessly clean. Seton features avery friendly staff. It was an excellent stay, good value for money, would definitelye back! Quiet, clean, cheaper than similar other hotels in New York The property was very clean and the proximity to the main attractions was great. The greater part of the employees extreamly the manual workers were civil and knowledgeable and can give you insights into the city if you bother to ask. The sitting living space where we had tea coffee and even made a European friend or two. Lots of British European guests here. Very nice and well located !! We had a living space with shared bathroom and the bathroom was always super clean !! The employees was nice and the living space wasfortable ! Location is fantastic, very central and short walk to Grand Central Station where you can go just about anywhere. Facilities were present days and very clean, no problem with the shared bathroom and was always left very tidy. The late check in was also really great for us. There s no breakfast, but thankfully there s free of cost coffee from 6 to 11 am. The hotel is a few steps away from shops that serve breakfast. Friendly staff, great location a short walk away from 5th Avenue, just off Lexington. This is my third stay at the Seton Hotel and I would stay again any time. The employees are friendly and professional, and for the price the facility is amazing. Excellent location and beautiful hotel. Veryfortable beds and spacious rooms for a NYC boutique hotel. Parking option is great -- half price with a hotel stamp at a parking garage two blocks away. Highly rmend. Brilliant find - great value for cash and love the retro furnishings. Staff are very friendly. Rooms were very clean. Location is good, just 5 minutes walk from Grand Central station. Many food options around the corner as well. Well located and nicely decorated. Hotel in excellent location, probably the best deal I made in a few years, good bed, decorative room, the shared bat was very clean, very nice staff. The best place in NY in cost benefits. As good a location as you’d want, just down the road from grand central stop and within walking distance of a lot of big attractions. Good quality living space with plenty of space. Staff gave us a lot of useful information including a very good guide to New York which we used everyday. Very good location and clean decent size room Great customer-oriented staff. Comfortable rooms with low-key trendy decor. Convenient location. Great value for money. The ubicationwe don t hear noise outsideThe living space isfortable I loved how the employees were present 24 7 at the check in desk, they were always so helpful and convenient easy to access. Housekeeping was so lovely and we always returned to a super nice room! The location is a 5 minute walk from Grand Central where you can literally go anywhere to! Everything you need within walking distance. Pretty quiet for the area and super warm over a very cold winter season. Loved it and will be rmending to all my pals back home! Friendly staff, helpful management, and t

👎 Just a thin blanket, a little cold at night. The living space is close to the street, so it s kind of noisy at night. You have to handle the keys to the front work area each time you leave the hotel and you can ask for the keys without any checking of the ID which means if someone wants he she can enter your room. The living space was a bit too cold as the windows were not very good. - It was very cold in my living space they don’t have duvets. I slept with an extra blanket and, importantly, an additional electric heater. It was good the hotel was able to provide it. The tinkling Lobby music was on 24 seven. Early within the morning it was very irritating when guests just want to relax with a hot drink and maybe sit awhile within the reception lounge area. This kind of music is best served if at all when guests are going out for the evening. However, in saying that, you would only see this kind of Lobby Music etiquette in operation at the very expensive up-market hotels. There was also a lot of static within the rooms and I got about five mild shocks, It might have been the the bedspreads but not so sure. Two tiny things about the shared bath: living space spray and bath mat of some sort needed. : The heating was very noisy so we had to turn it off ! thing, it was great and would highly rmend to others! There is only one window that shows the back of the hotel building; no fancy views. Whilst they offered ice to be collected frommunal areas a fridge within the living space would have been much more practical. The heating was a littlepleted, either too hot or too cold. In-room coffee would be great. Couldn’t figure out how to turn the heating off. Kettle in rooms so you could have tea and coffee whenever would be great. I stayed within the first floor. I could hear neighboring guests using the bathroom, speaking on the phone, etc as if they were staying within the same living space with me... walls must be paper thin. Small room Climate. The heat within the living space was so dry we had to turn on the AC window unit which was so loud that we barely slept. Worst night sleep I’ve ever had. Staff within the evening could’ve been a bit more friendly. Front desk employees were not very friendly. Also, central heating made the living space really hot and the AC unit did not work. thing really toplain about. The employees no speak spanish and they don t try. The bed is too softWe are near a public bathroom and we hear all. Probably could use a few more general facilities or had them a little more accessible I didn’t even know they existed until we checked out. The wireless was a bit volatile and unreliable at the far end of the hotel, but apart from that I was very happy. thing. - The Staff at the desk was horrible.t customer oriented at all! We give you our hard earned cash we are waiting a minimum of respect!- The location is fare from everything at walking distance, didn t understand the previous reviews.- Lights within the living space need to be improved The heater made loud, clinking noises all night and they were doing some kind of support a couple doors down within the morning and early evening which was pretty obnoxious... it sounded like a very loud vacuum or drill from like 8 or 9 and then again around 5. Windows very drafty so person in bed by window froze because the electric heater on wall didn’t work the whole stay... employees gave us a portable heater which helped

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel

35 East 76th Street

👍 Stayed there several times before. Excellent location. Overall, a great hotel and the service everywhere on the property is first rate. Staff and ammenities are second to none. property is smaller, but the rooms are big. My friend suggested me to try there as it is also close to her apartment. of course it was the carlyle name that attracted me to book. the employees was nice, Bemelman s and the Cafe are amazing. lobby gorgeous, great location The ambiance Restaurant Carlyle could have a Michelin Star. The French food and wine reminded me of my childhood traveling though Europe with my grandparents. Those are some of my most cherished memories. The time warp seems to bring you back to a more gracious period of the Pax Americana. Grand, yet not ostentatious. A subdued atmosphere that emanates from the live jazz quartet within the bar gave a soundtrack to the whole experience that could not be improved upon. Location. The bar is still a nice spot to spend a night at The bed was veryfortable and the living space very clean. Cleaning service was tops! Only location All superlatives. A truly grand European hotel. The people at the front work area were incredibly amodating. Staff was amazing. Elevator operators were a class act. Staff was wonderful and the Kiehl s bath products were a great treat! Bedfy, employees friendly, easy access, food good Nice location. Friendly service. Love the atmosphere of the hotel and the piano bar, great location, quite but close enough to all the shopping, park and the Met museum. Perfect for singles as I am, very friendly. The curtsey of the employees was good. The availability of a driver and car for short trips like for lunch dinner was very nice and improved the quality of our stay. Dinner within the restaurant was first class. We did not have breakfast. I love everything about this hotel - but I think what I like most is the quiet nature of the public rooms, while there is so much to offer within the other spaces- the bars, restaurant, entertainment. They have somehow managed to capture both, and do so beautifully. Loved the bar, cafe, and restaurant. The bar with live music is always fun on the weekends there is a cover charge. The cafe is a wonderful place to have a drink and people watch, and the restaurant is quiet, elegant, and the food is delicious. A lovely boutique hotel. Location near park, shopping, restaurants. Bemelman s bar has nice jazz. Staff mostly friendly. Nice fitness center facilities though small. Beds were normal twins and veryfortable. Room faced inside so was very quiet. Shower brilliant Wonderful classic hotel with very polite staff. Also rooms were beautifully decorated and quiet. friendly helpful servicelocationbreakfast includedit was raining and the captain gave us an umbrella for the evening! that was great!!!reasonable parking Our stay was first class all the way. We were well taken care of.... and enjoyed each minute! This is our go-to place in NYC! Get reservations for a meal, and spend an evening at the bar. Location The concierge was very helpful Lobby service cafe Carlyle bedding One of the best hotels I ve ever stayed in! Comparable to the used-to-be Mandarin Oriental in Francisco. Excellent overallTimeless traditions Wonderful employees and beautiful lobby. Close to Central Park Favorite hotel in NYC, slept like a baby. Staff was kind and weing. Close to Central Park and a lot of restaurants galleries Almost everything. The general atmosphere. All the employees is excellent. The restaurant The bed was amazing.... Bar, Concierge Hall, Breakfast The morning meal was great, the employees were friendly everything Breakfast delicious. Great view! Elegance within the heart of NYCbined with courteous employees and a scrumptious breakfast! expensive

👎 Hotel very tired and needs cash spending on it. Much worse than when I was last there in 2013. Belatedly told that next to no restaurant and living space service facilities due to refurb and no discount offered. Common parts very dirty and given a very poor room. The Mark close by is much the same price and far superior. The living space we were in was veryfortable by any standard. However, must say the living space for our stay was really dated. There was not a single thing about the hotel that isn’t superior but would rmend a update living space wise. the staffs are generally polite ...... though can one imagine you go out at 10am and return at 3pm,the living space is still undone ?! i then asked the housekeeper to return at 5pm after i go out for dinner. then i returned at 8.30pm.... the living space is not done yet..... i called the housekeeping again.... went out for a walk half hour to give them time to clean.... NOT yet done still..... i then told them to forget about it.... i was checking out the next day, the reception apologized..... honestly, i hv tried many 5 stars hotel.... they would probably free of cost the last day. i did not tell them I know the hotel owner....... sad.. i had to visit philly, so i thought interesting to move to another hotel for a different experience.... i had booked the 1 hotel central park behind the pierre..... i took my luggage to store there, everything changed.... the first smell of the hotel, young lady from the hotel reception was hosting anc helpful... i have not even moved into the hotel yet.... that is something to say there ! living space was quite small and tired. interior windows, dark. TINY bathroom. not a great value for the the price and it was on a thursday night of a holiday weekend, and not busy in NYC The food at morning meal what a disaster . The eggs were COLD, the smoked salmon with cream cheese came out without the cream cheese I asked and it still didn’te out 5 min later then had to bagel retoasted. So basically my wife was finished with her morning meal before I had bite one SAY NO MORE Being turned away at the morning meal buffet at exactly 10:27am was infuriating. The buffet full of eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits, patisseries, salmon, cheeses, going to the trash was tragic on multiple levels. After dinner we wanted one drink, but a $30 cover charge to walk one living space over seemed exorbitant, even after spending 4 figures for dinner. Carlyle used to be an amazing spot to stay in NY.w it became a no-class, no Service hotel where employees only cares about doing their job whatever way they can to pass the dayRooms are old. Bathrooms-if one person can walk in and turn around freely-call it an achievement. They always run out of items during breakfast. Events manager is utterly unpleasant and will most likely do nothing to amodate guests our experience. You will not be treated as a return regular guest-staff have no idea how to make notes about guests’ preferences-they will only check you in and out. We mentioned we didn’t enjoy our stay at the checkout and the reply was ok I could continue The bathroom shelves were too small to keep all cosmetics and necessities together. Also, there was no table within the living space which made living space service dining a challenge. It was old, dirty, run down, rooms horrible, trying to stand on when they were grand. Mark is across the street and for the same 1,000 per living space is amazing. Couldn’t get in and out of the shower, lights burned out, tv didn’t work . Was old shabby and just a run down mess. Water stains on wall paper, dirty worn rugs, lumpy mattress, spare or no towels.t a Five-star hotel. More light motel 6. . screwed up my reservation but it worked to my advantage. The initial living space I was in was right next to the elevators -- I had to move because it was so loud. The property overall is very old -- so the floors creak and sound travels. The entire property could use a massive upgrade -- from the curtai
