👍 Clean and quite facility. My contact people for this lease were the best and kind and doing everything they can to make sure I have afortable stay. Bravo!!!
👎 The furniture specially the chairs and desk are old and it is just a matter of time to break and cause injury to guests. I am not a big person and they were very unstable. The tub was also very slippery.

👍 Sparkling clean, well appointed with cooking utensils, cable and WiFi... and reallyfortable beds. Everything you need for a fantastic short trip to NYC. There’s even a laundromat within the building. Veryfortable living space and we loved the fitness center facilities at the building - extreamly given it was so cold during our stay and we could not run outside. Great location - close to the subway but far enough away from the noise and bustle Good location, few blocks from subway. There are a good market just beside the building. The apartment itself is very confortable, with good furniture and kitchen suplies. Air conditioning works well. Good Location and facilities within the building and local area, e. g. Convenience store, subway, Central Park, all major tourist and theatre spots of Manhattan, great laundry, clean, well supplied and secure unit in a friendly building. Veryfy beds lovely area
👎 This is a very ufortable stay. All the beds, including the sofa bed, can hurt human backs not exaggerating here. Every single step you put your feet on the floor, the floor squeaks and makes noises. the flooring seems to be very cheap plastic materials. This is not really a two bed living space apartment. It is a one bedroom apartment, with living living space divided into one bedroom and one living area with no windows. The bathtub constantly leaks water, so it is wet within the bathroom all the time. Farther from a Subway Station then I’d like but certainly doable. Starting with . itself making it really difficult to understand total cost. It goes on with a lion clause for cancelling it. Continues with the place not been ready at 4pm, nor at 5pm, 7pm, 8pm two individuals were trying to finalize cleaning the apartment. Location is tricky as I did not feel safe between Lincoln Center and the place. Wi-fi was far from ideal and even the TV would not work. Due to the extreme cold during our stay, the heating system was put into overdrive and was very noisy at night. It kept us warm but was just very noisy. Mattress could be a little bit harder. The staf of the building is not very friendly tv signal at all, poorly draining sinks, noisy street outside, no second toilet. Very warm. poor service from the hostpany. we could not make any contact with the employees at the apartment building. View was not as advertised.

👍 The sheets were sooo soft! And the bed wasfy! Roni was super nice!
👎It was SO HOT in there! And I’m usually always cold! The fan is super loud, and does not blow any air out if it I don’t understand how it didn’t, but I’m serious, that fan doesn’t work. so we had to keep the window open. It was super loud because of the traffic but that was expected. : sleeping in a place where I hadn’t met anyone Else within the house was super unsettling the first night. But felt better after I had met Roni! the coffee and tea options were confusing so I just didn’t worry about it! And the bathroom, probably could’ve been cleaned up a little better 😂 I understand I’m using a mans bathroom, so I didn’t mind, but just so you know! Hahah

👍 Very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal. This is a gem! Great location, amazing customer service and unique place to be in NY! There were free of cost bagels within the morning, the employees was very friendly, didn t have to worry about loosing the key because you could leave it at the Inn. The rooms were what we expected them to be. It was clean. Very homely feeling and very central but not noisy. We were made very wee by the employees here and one employees member, Jim, gave my son cookies while we were there and allowed him to play the old piano, making my son feel at ease. Someone was always available for advice on places to go. This is predominantly a property for military employees and everyone we met was so proud and courteous and we wouldn’t hesitate to go there again if we visit New York. The hotel is very well located in Manhattan, approximately 15min walk from Times square. The employees was super nice and weing! They gave us very good addresses, tips and advices for NYC, a BIG THANK YOU to them!Waterfountains are available on each floor and there s also a kitchen with a fridge on the first floor that you can use. I would definitely rmend this place! Location and coffee The staff, most of whom are volunteers, are very friendly and helpful. The location is great. Good location, nice rooms, reasonable price, helpful staff. The location for the price was unbeatable Definitively a place with Charme, history and personality incl. the employees behind the reception!Locationhelpful staff! No hotel like any other, something to remember the place is wonderful! the building is amazing, the living space very nice, everyone kind and helpful and always available for suggestions, advice and chat. also, very easy to reach from jfk and in a great position. Great location in safe district. Great personal, boiling water and fridge at the kitchen. Free donuts and coffee for breakfast, great library and trendy furniture in shared zones. The location. Staff was very friendly. The employees was very helpful and amodating. The living space was veryfortable and clean. I slept so well and enjoyed the breakfast. Location was great. a great moment to share the morning. indeeed ! coffee and bagels Weird and wonderful with lots of history and THE best bagels I ve ever had. A little run down, but employees and ambience delightful. An experience! Very good location, employees helpful The employees was awseome Classic Great location, great staff. Very helpful.
👎 I stayed in a twin room. The mattress’s on the two beds were the worst I have ever slept on. need for it. The washing facilities were not up to standard and segregated into male and female. There is no lift facility to carry luggage upstairs. Ok if you are young but not if you are of the older generation. Being ex Navy I had anticipated a better standard and was disappointed at the condition of the premises. Sharing showers and bathroom is not my favorite, but they were very clean! There was an extra bed in our living space so had to squeeze a little more than we wanted. We understand that this is an old building and so there was no lift, however, we were allowed to use the stair lift to get our heavy bags to the third floor! Ingenious ! It really didn’t spoil our time there, we were quite sad to leave. The AC was a little bit noisy and we couldn t open the window. Never ever go thereThis is a place that needs to be avoided. It has nothing to do with a hotel. Although they advertise on . this is a very low budget hostel. As my booking was cancelled by ., I made a direct deal with the hotel. On arrival, the tragedy starts immediately. Ms. Jessica at the reception is talented in destroying your good holiday mood with 90 seconds. Independent what has been agreed by phone, she asks immediately $50 more than agreed. It is unclear to me whether the $50 extra is for the hotel of for Jessica although I expect the latter. The rooms are really small, indeed 8m2 and dirty. Mattresses seem to be at least 20 years old and smell like hell. Sleeping in Central Park is a better option than on those mattresses. Towels for the shared shower are same age as the bedlinen and measure the size of a tea towel. Breakfast, being served as of 0700 hours, did not arrive at 7.45 hours. This is really a horrible place with employees that can not be trusted and should be avoided by everyone. And sleeping 150 night per annum in hotel, I believe I have some experience. Anything positive?, the coffee was ok, and so the location. It was a hike from our living space to the restrooms, which are shared. They are dormitory-style. We could choose either suffering from high temperatures within the living space with closed window or getting deaf by very noisy air con or by noisy street with the window open. Received an email stating I could check in at 8am only to find out that the hotel wouldn’t allow it. The employees member stayed on a individual call for ten minutes before giving me this information and continued to say we might not even have a living space we paid for due to over booking with .. Luckily the latter was not the case. Apparently there are issues between hotel and bookings. about how many people have booked how many rooms beds. Should be clarified!!!!! We were lucky and got a living space as we had booked and paid for via bookings., but apparently they were short on rooms and only got info about bookings very late and had already made bookings with customers of their own. So, bookings. and SSMCA please work this out!Could do with a little support work, would improve the overall impression. Sometimes heating didnt work and it was cold within the room. Too dim light within the room. The heating was making very high pitched noises throughout the entire night, making it close to impossible to sleep. Tried to turn it off but not possible. The beds, bathrooms, insufficient A C, hu

👍 The location was amazing! Definitely within the middle of everything and the neighbourhood was really safe. It was really easy to collect the keys and the host was always there when needed. Good location. Location was pretty good with several subway stops close by. Facilities within the apartment were great - kitchette although no microwave, washer and dryer and TV with cable. Hosts were easy to reach when something went wrong - at one point a cleaner came into the apartment and accidentally took my keys, but they were returned within 30 minutes. The place is clean, the host contacted me pre-arrival and was kind. Subway 1 is right in front of the apartment The bed was sofy. The location was great. Communication from our host was excellent, 💛🙌😘 Cozy little home at the heart of Manhattan.
👎 A bit noisy at night. The property had thin walls so everything that happened on the streets could be heard within the bedroom. It was extremely noisy the entire time. I asked the host for a time extension but the host declined it, even for 30 minutes. I thought that was pretty unfair. The house is really tiny. I was expecting a bigger home. I was highly disappointed. It isn t made clear within the posting that the apartment is directly above a nightclub which stays open until 4am with extremely loud bass speakers! Even with earplugs it was impossible to get any sleep. The windows don t seem to be soundproofed at all- it feels like you re inside the club. The bathroom within the pictures isn t the one within the apartment. The bathroom is fine, but not as nice as the one shown within the pics not sure where that s from. The first three pictures do not actually reflect the real place, feels like it’s a fraudulent promotion and was disappointed. Plus, there’s a bar downstairs which plays loud music till 4am, so you can forget about going early to bed. Too loud downstairs. Two bars keep making noise until 2 am. It s above a restaurant bar so you can hear the noise till 5am within the morning.

👍 Had a double living space with in-room bathromm with my girlfriend. There s not much beside a bed, a bathroom and a decent breakfast. If you are looking for something cheap in Manhattan and just want a place to sleep, I would definitely rmend this. Fun location with loads of transit options within a few blocks. I had a individual living space with a shared bathroom. The shared showers and toilets are all in individual rooms, so it doesn t feel like a public facility with other peopleing and going. It was good value for money, very quiet and friendly environment. Staff were helpful and nice, the Wi-Fi was excellent and everywhere was always clean. I would stay here again. I was there for 4 nights and the employees were very helpful and it was very clean. The bathroom separate from my bedroom was clean and normally free of cost when I wanted it. Very well located, Three-4 blocks from the subway and walking distance from most touristic sights. It s better than any other hostel I ve stayed in. Air conditioning and individual bathroom for 4 bed dorm was a huge plus! The Metro stop to line E is not far away. The only good thing of this Hostel is the location. According to the rest: dirty, noisy and very ufortable. The doors do not close. The ground is not level!!!! Room is decent and quiet. Spacious for one person and a small suitcase. Convenient location. Good value for money, can t go cheaper for a individual living space in Manhattan! Front desk afternoon duty guy is a horrible person. He treats people like dogs. When you ask him anything, he will use the most simple and insulting word. When you in a hurry, he will even makements on your manners and call you a rude guy just because you r in a hurry. The location was close to two subway stops. I booked an ensuite single room. It was furnished with the barest necessities; a bed, a chair, two lockers, and that was it. I received a list of do s and don ts and so long as I followed those, I was fine. For instance, not bringing food into the rooms. The bedsheets were clean, for the most part, and I didn t contract bed mites, so yay. The internet speeds were great and the location is the best thing about this place! All tourist spots Times Square, Greenwich Village, Broadway are a Ten-15 minute walk away. The cleaning service was great; the bins were cleaned, the floors mopped while I was away, and the lockers were securely shut and locked with my own locks, Location of property is good Breakfast ok But no amenities Actually nothing. It’s not the best location, but the subway is only three blocks away , STAFF, BREAKFAST, CLEANLINESS. The location was nice. The employees was polite and friendly. Breakfast was decent. The location was really good. it was a very good experience, loved the place the employees and the hostel were super clean and really satisfied for me, I ll definitely go again. Good value for a two bed room. I didn t explore much but it was nice to have the lockers kn hand andmon living space First, it s location is unbeatable if u wish 2 stay in Chelsea and Midtown area of Manhattan. Second, my 2 beds dormitory living space was veryfort bed wise wide, area wise, Locker wise not small, air-condition wise automatic on all times as June is hotnhumid, with ensuite basin. The toilet and bathroom were just next door. Third, the dining area was pleasant with a TV playing amusing morning meal
👎 The saggy mattress hurt my back and I couldn t sleep with the A C on too loud and cold blowing straight at your head, but woke up multiple times a night because I was too hot. The morning meal was okay bagel, fruit, cereal, but felt stingy as you exchanged your ticket for one bagel, one piece of fruit, one pat of butter, and one packet--no cream cheese. I understand rationing the bagels and fruit so people don t pack a lunch, but setting out jars of jam and cream cheese tubs would raise the quality of morning meal a lot.. I was put street side and it was noisy at night, but a good pair of earplugs solved that! Also, the cleaners banged on my door daily at 6am when cleaning the toilet. For the price, nothing. The living space was like a prison cell: a bed, a locker, a shelf and a sink. A sign read: Don´t open the window, the air conditioner might fall down ?!?The morning meal was one marmelade, a slice of butter, a bagel, a banana and coffee:all in disposables. that means trash, trash, trash. Knife, fork and spoon: plastic! Shower took a while to heat up.t a big problem in summer. The noise from the street was really bad. Hostel should provide ear plugs. Also the water dripping from air conditioners on higher floors on my window was maddening, it was very hard to sleep! Horrible horrible employees The shared showers: 1. the shower floor needs to be cleaned more than once per day, and 2. the showers need coat hooks to hang clothing and towels while you shower, and a small shelf to set your toiletries The bedsheets could ve been cleaner. I discovered hair on the bedsheets and the pillow cover which I covered by placing a towel I d brought with me. I only brought in food once and that was to pack with me my sister wanted me to bring back cookies from Levain Bakery, and I caught two little roaches within the bathroom which I instantly killed. So, my advice is to follow the instructions you get and you ll be okay. The bed was not veryfortable but I honestly wasn t expecting it to be. The living space I had was at the very high of a very winding staircase and provided me with a roof over my head, which was all I needed : Check in reception not professional. internet They don t clean the rooms during stay or change bed sheets although I stayed 5 nights It was like a jail room. Small, noforts at all, pricey and humid, without any chance to refresh the air opening the windows blocked. Air conditioner super noisy, I had to switch it off during the night. Shared toilet wasn t properly working. I got there early and the person at the front work area didn’t check if my living space was ready, so I could check in. He did that for the guy in line ahead of me, but told me toe back later instead. Although they say not to make loud noises after 10pm, there’s a courtyard always filled with people and it’s impossible to sleep before midnight and past 7am. Also somebody turned on some music at 3am just outside of my bedroom and nobody said a word. ACCESS TO THE ROOM. WAS NOT ABLE TO BRING SUIT CASES TO THE THIRD FLOOR . fortunately WAS A PAY STORAGE AVAILABLE IN THE BASEMENT. WiFi was slow. The living space is a small for two people to walk around. The kitchen closes at 11pm which makes it unable to grab a late night snack. Is expensive like everything in NY. My living space was within the first floor and was next to the trash cans. So the smell was not that good. i liked everything.

👍 The beds within the bedrooms werefy, the location was excellent, apartment was clean and big enough for 5 people.

👍t so much Perfect location - close to subway, with breattaking view for a bridge. At first we get a living space with such small place, we can t walk to the bed without knocking each other. Room for one bed, not for two! But when we paid for upgrade, we get superfortable living space with a lot of space, and this is what we needed for longer stay than just one night. Roof garden with amusing view. Don t miss it out. Staff was good and cooperative. Theplimentary morning meal was great. The kids loved making their own waffles and my wife loved the bagels with cream cheese. it was a great way to start the day. The closets subway was a 2 minute walk. The rooms were made up each day and they were spotless. The reception employees were the friendliest and most helpful that I ve encountered, nothing was a problem for them Right next to the Manhattan Bridge. Good opportunities for walks to Brooklyn Bridge or Battery Park.3min walk to subway station. Hot water and morning meal very good, the noise for the traffic on the bridge very light, didn’t bother at nighttime! Friendly front work area staff, super close to subway stop literally up the street. The beds were great and the hotel employees was very friendly and willing to assist with any questions. Really clean and bed was sofortableIn the shower, there was a bathtub and coild took a bath each nightGood breakfastIt exceeded my expectations The morning meal bar was very good. The employees were all very friendly. We had some technical issues with payment and they helped us resolve them. The living space was quite nice even thought it was small. The bathroom size was great but didnt have a heat system in there. Had a queen bed but didnt feel like it was queen, more like a double but it was veryfortable. The free of cost continental morning meal was the only bright spot during our stay PROS: The property is conveniently located next to the F train station, which is approximately 0.2 miles away. Rooftop terrace was nice, view of the Manhattan Bridge. The lobby was clean, hotel employees was friendly and held my bag before check-in free of cost of charge, as I had a business meeting to attend. Bathroom of the hotel living space was clean and well maintained, showers drained properly, shower water temperature was working. The beds were surprisingly veryfortable and HVAC system within the living space was high-end. Checked-out of the hotel without my luggage and belongings smelling like an old funky hotel, which was great. Overall price to stay in Manhattan, given the circumstances of the hotel were fantastic. Surprisingly there was little sound considering there a subway is constantly travels back and forth on the Manhattan Bridge. Clean and well situated. Great location because it’s a stone’s throw away from good food in Chinatown and the subway. Service was friendly and the living space was very clean! Free breakfastNear a tube stop for getting about Good size room Just AMAZING!!!! I have to say we we re a bit doubtful because of a few bad reviews, mostly about the rooms being too small, but none of that! It was AMAZING!!! Super friendly employees that gives you a warm wee the minute you cross the door, always in disposition and so nice!! Wifi works perfectly in all areas, morning meal is soooo good!! Super clean living space andmon areas, the view to the Manhattan bridge is just mind blowing!! Such a good, safe area, a block away from a subway stop that connects you
👎 Breakfast was a jokeNeighborhood Room small it didn’t even have a closet; you find these within the cheapest hostels but not at LESEverything is too small in size. Our shower drain was clogged and kept pooling with water until your feet splashed, some of the lights in our living space didn’t work, and the windows would not open for fresh air. I woke up with a rash on my face for the two days we stayed here.t worth the 700 dollar stay. At first we get a living space with such small place, we can t walk to the bed without knocking each other. Room for one bed, not for two! But when we paid for upgrade, we get superfortable living space with a lot of space, and this is what we needed for longer stay than just one night. Rooms are very small and very tight space. You have to leave the water open for 10 minutes to get hot. Location is not good it is almost at the end of city. Right next to the Manhattan Bridge. Subway clearly audible at night. Small Rooms. Never told us that the hotel have a rooftop that we could enjoy! Housekeeping failed to restock tissues within the bathroom or change an empty toilet roll there was a spare present within the bathroom. Poor soundproofing. We were beside the elevator - could hear each conversation like they were beside us. Little variety in breakfast, and the fruit was not fresh. The shower did not always give hot water and the morning meal was not very healthy. Some of the staffs were not so friendly The living space was really small the bed end was too close to the wall leaving nearly no space to walk through to the bathroom. Also, the bed was too high - I had to climb into it. I tried checking in like half in hour early but was rejected by front desk. The lady said they charge $75 for anything before 3pm. I left and came back at 2:55 and there was another lady but she checked me in without problem. People just not doing their jobs well i guess or having a bad day. One employees member at the front work area was BEYOND rude. The one that did our check in. The area surrounding the hotel was terrible. I then called housekeeping and a crew of four replaced all the sheets, everything was fine after that. However, the living space is EXTREMELY SMALL! I repeat, living space is EXTREMELY SMALL! If you are traveling with four people and expect to fit in a standard double bed living space 2 beds total per living space prepare to be highly disappointed and inconvenienced! There was absolutely no living space to store luggage except within the entryway of the room. The little desk within the living space is not even practical to use, as there’s no space between the bed and the best to sit. microwave or refrigerator. For example, we came back to pick our bags from their storage room, but had to wait 20 min for someone to get them and then had to run to catch our transportation to the airport. The living space was smaller than expected, extreamly for four people. The walls were also a bit thin so we could hear our neighbors The shower was luke warmThe train nearby was really noisy all night Breakfast w
