The bed was surprisingly large and soft. I slept wonderfully at night, and the toilet waspletely my aesthetic. The bathroom products smelled great and were very good for my skin. I loved the interior design.

Location of the hotel was very convenient. Close to subway stations and in easy reach of Little Italy which is excellent and China Townt as great as we hoped. The subway is excellent and a very convenient way to get around the city and everything is easily accessible so you can explore all the different interesting regions of NY. The SOHO area features avast availability of cafes and restaurants within a short walk. The other thing we liked about the hotel was the casual nature of the environment rather than a formal large chain hotel.

Everyone at this hotel is extremely helpful and polite. Beds are superfy and the location is perfect.
The employees were always willing to assist no matter what time of day and would always be approachable. The experience I had at 11 Howard will be hard to match based on the service I received.

Recently, we stayed, in this hotel. The living space with 2 double beds was tiny. It was hard to store anything within the closet! Unfortunately, although we asked, there was no possibility to get a bigger room. We understood - it was holiday period time. Since we were outside most of the time, we didn tplain about the living space not being cleaned properly. Luckily, the beds werefortable. The location is good and most of the employees are nice. Mind you: There is a $30 a day facility charge which covers the internet, phone calls, $10 minibar credit for items we travel a lot and we’ve never had that in any hotel we’ve stayed in. So, the WI-Fi is not Complimentary, as suggested on the website. Complimentary services or products are those given to an audience a customer without charge.
The location was great, you could walk to the subway stop in just a few minutes, and their employees at the front work area were friendly.

Beds were veryfortable. We had some problems with our stay but management made each effort to resolve these problems to our satisfaction. Solely based on managements response I will being back to the 11 Howard.

👎 We got food poisoning from the food. Wasn t that great that there wasn t a nice restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There was a facilities tax ontop of like 5 other taxes daily - when the hotel had no facilities. Very expensive for tiny rooms!
Having to request everything from bathrobes to shower caps shouldn t happen in a luxury hotel. Very loud repair crew shouting within the hallway.
The two queen beds nearly filled the entire living space which was small. There was a strong, overwhelming, perfume smell which filled the hallways.
The double bedroom was smaller than I expected, so it was difficult to fit all of our suitcases and move around. The lighting was a little too dark within the bathroom so I had trouble putting on my makeup.
The employees are rude. The lobby is freezing. warm wee. The poor receptionist had on gloves and ear muffs checking me in it was that cold. The 3 guys standing around ‘concierge’ were so rude and not helping her out at all. Then she brought up my bags to my living space not them! My living space was fine for NY standards. Clean. The bed was great. But the vibe of the place was so bad. I will never stay here again.
The hotel is being marketed as luxury and 5 star by some websites. It is not luxury or 5 star. You can notpare the level of this hotel to its sister Gramercy Park Hotel or Sixty Thompson in terms of luxury, service and amodations, or even the public spaces. Oh and the bar that turns into a night club actually features apretty bad smell inside, but the space itself looks nice and cozy.
There was a small issue with the bathroom exhaust fan which became very noisy after the first few days. we reported it 3 times and it wasn t acted upon. Did not ruin the short trip - we just needed to keep the door shut at night to lessen the sound while we slept.
When you first step to the hotel there is no reception to wee you2 ipads on a small table thats it so you need to look for the employees to get service. Rooms are small not enough space for the luggage Furnitures are minimal looks like Ikea style Mattress worn and sunk from use Very un wee environment
There were toiletries only for 1 person within the bathroom. When I requested for 3, a man brought for only 1 additional person, we booked for 3. The bathroom was tattered looking and was not clean. Elevators outside the living space were quite noisy until after 1am.
Luke warm water and bad water pressure in our tiny room. Don’t love the minimal lobby. Seems coldand unweing.
At the end, there was an unpleasant situation and I can t stress this enough: It s not the money, it s the principle. We have never used the minibar maybe we should have opened it and checked it. Just before our flight departure to Europe, I received a second invoice. The first, I checked quickly together with a concierge in should I call it, the conceptual lobby, both hunching down to the level of a small Ipad screen.t the ideal way to do it. The second invoice had additional charges for the ‘use’ of the minibar the last morning before we checked out 6 soft drinks. I’ll repeat, we did not use the minibar neither that morning nor during our stay. If we had used the minibar before, I presume it would be listed on our invoice as a daily expense, as it is listed for the second floor s library coffee place expenses.w, I am even wondering if those expenses are correct.
