81 Bowery 2ND Floor, Chinatown, New York, 10002, USA
👍 was a cheap option It was only $60 a night and was in Chinatown! Best deal ever! Low price. Can leave the building quickly through the door. The apartment there is in a good place, is really cheap. It’s your hotel but only for sleep!! free of cost coffee The hotel is located in a very good place, near the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges, in Chinatown. The closest street is Canal street, a very important road with a lot of subway stations to go to everywhere. The neighborhood is so nice to visit. The employees member who works during the day was very friendly. Affordable, clean, good location They provided towels, body wash and shampoo. Staff were really nice Clean, the hotel is clean it s just aged Microwave Hot water Sound travelled a bit, but any time someone made a noise the management quickly told them to be quiet Some people might not like having no windows, but it actually helped me sleep off the jet lag It was very cheap for NY and the employees is very helpful with everything. We needed to prolong our stay so they did everything they could eventough they were fully booked. Good location. We were satisfied. Very good location. Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay for the price. Just know what you’re signing up for when booking the cheapest place in Manhattan. It was cheap and clean. Other than that, there was not much else to say about it. thing to be honest. Absolutely nothing, the place is dirty, unkept, smelly and noisy. The employees only 1 person spoke English was really nice and myments are not a reflection on him, but the disgusting trash can they call a hotel. the location was near bus and subway, in chinatown, very busy area. Great value for the money. If you re on a budget or a student then I d rmend this. It is in a great location and close to a lot of things. The employees really really try their best. You can tell that they want to do the best job they can with the budget and conditions they have, and I like that. Enough wireless bandwidth to watch YouTube at night. I didn t try to stream anything extreme, but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The next time I visit NYC, I ll probably be staying here again. The bed wasfy. And the Wi-Fi was okay Excellent location for this sum of money! Also very clean and exceed all expectations after seeing so many poor reviews here at first. This hotel was the worst bad and off course very expansive that i,ve been from 1972. Bad is so light. This hotel is horrible! It was OK for the cash they want. The bathrooms are rather clear. The rooms are small, but it wasn t too hot with no conditioning or windows. The personel is friendly, and tea coffee is free of cost 24 7 The location is very good, at the downtown of Manhattan, close to the subway. The living space is tiny, but clean. The employees clean the bathroom several times a day. Location was good, only 10 minute walk to Brooklyn Bridge. thing! Wifi Good location. Metro Station is not far around 5 min walk Cheap priceparing to the location only not to the hotel in general. Kind Staff. Just Night shift guy needs to improve his English language. Very little, I was looking for somewhere inexpensive for a couple of nights and would have checked out sooner if I had been staying longer - within the end it was more trouble than it was worth to do so given my short stay. The loca
👎 Really poor rooms, Space within the rooms. Only one bathroom was working which was quite a walk from the hallway. Wouldn t rmend it to anyone tbh. Go for a bit better option with few more $$. The bed was not 6ft in length so I had to curl my legs at night to actually sleep within the bed. My booking. reservation wasn t available to the receptionist, so I got stressed out about having to find another place to stay or pay high price for last minute reservation. Fortunately that wasn t the case as I got an amodation there for a price even lower than on the original reservation. They advertise morning meal but don’t actually have any. The entire building smells like pee and cigarettes. There was loud hammering each morning as they are under renovation The rooms are extremely small, much smaller than the pictures lead you to believe. The bathrooms are gross and half of their shower curtains don’t even cover the entire shower The rooms are small, the installation are regular, it isn’t so clean. deadbolt on the outside door, just a turn lock on the door knob. An attempt at a carriage bolt misaligned on the inside of the hollow center door. NOT SECURE. We took anything of value whenever we left the room. We expected bunks, and these were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Half dressed people roamed the halls on their way to and from themunal bathroom. Bathroom in our living space was so CRUDDY we put a towel over the bath mat to cover it. place to hang wet towels; not a towel bar, or a hook or even a nail in a wall within the entire room, including the bathroom. Supposedly for 4 people, and with ONE ELECTRICAL OUTLET this living space was so CRAMPED we couldn’t have more than two people in it at a time. One overhead light fixture, no lamps. One folding chair. ; It cost extra to use a credit card, which, in fairness, was clearly stated on their website. The living space was very very small, only had a bed and a small table. closet, no chairs, no windows ... It wasn t cleaned last the 9 days we were there. The employees member was very rude. He didn t speak English. When we arrived he only said that we had to pay for the room. When I was to pay they didn t accept cards, only cash. I didn t have cash enough and he told me that I could pay with card with a 15 extra tax. The rooms are interior, windowless, and really really tiny, we were two, sleeping in bunk beds, and there was only living space for the beds within the room, we could barely access our bags, and certainly not at the same time. Bathrooms are down the hall, and the owners pretty much don t speak English. When we arrived we were asked to pay part of reservation, over 130$ in cash, without a previous warning isy, stayed here for 10 nights about half of the stay I didn’t sleep well due to paper thin walls, woken up by other guests talking loudly whening home after 2am or else woken up by guests and employees talking loudly in mandarin before 7am The living space was incredibly small Bathroom floor was frequently wet guest fault Looks aged from the rooms to the bathroom Thin walls - snoring neighbour Bed creeks The living space was small. Very small room, fits a double bed and you barely have enough space to stand up. If you have luggage with you, the suitcases can be put under the bed. Also, very thin walls! We could hear when people showered across the hall. Get earplugs, it helps. It was a very bare-bones operation. They were virtually no amenities at
