👍 This place is good just for one night. if you pay 20 or 30$ more, you can book better hotel. dont destroy your short trip and book better hotel. Staff is very nice and is very well located, just need 10 minutes on the subway to be at Penn station. Staff was good..... Location was great Good location Everything was bad! likes! Good location. Ok staff Dirty, And not Safe, Only one Very SmallToilet that I would never sit on, and a Dirty Shower Stall I would never use even with Shoes On. Great location, great for a low budget escape I did not like anything about the property. On arrival the manager had an attitude and as well as being hard to understand he was rude and only interested in taking my money. Location thing about it! It wasn t to far from the gym, good restaurants, and places to have drinks. There were some nice museums and galleries located nearby. I can t really say I liked too much. There was nothing to like to be honest. I guess the employees was pretty ok and the location was close to midtown. Well located. Location location OK WIFI Inexpensive Good location Free, reliable wireless at a good speed24 hour access service deskGreat location and value for cash Friendly staffSafe neighbourhood thing. Staff was friendly. BIGGEST DESASTER HOTEL-..??? I STAY IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.!!!! GO AWAY...!! 🤬😱🤮💩☹😫 BOOKING CAN FEEL SHAME, OFFERT THIS GARBAGE FOR HIS CUSTOMERS.!! It s a cheap place to stay at cheap price. Ideal for people who want to just keep baggage safe in own living space and explore the city full day, and at night just sleep dead for few hrs, while phone battery charges up. The location is great and the reception is friendly . Good location and staff. It is not bad cuz I checked in so late like 12am and only stay a few hours. If you are not picky, you can chose it because of the price. Internet was good, employees were nice. The people who work there are friendly and themunication via email was convenient. That is the only good thing I can say. I wish we would have left the place immediately after arrival. And should have asked for our cash back. Bugs were my biggest concern and I didn t see any. I don t know if I got lucky but I think it may be due to furniture stores below the hotel rather than restaurants, which was a relief. If you’re looking for a NY experience and just staying for one night it is doable. It was what I expected for the price. Leaving The employees were friendly and helpful. The bed wasfortable. I Loved the employees they very very friendly,it’s true that their English isn’t the best but they know how to explain everything they are always willing to listen to give indications and that stuff, The living space is for what you pay but anyway there’s another place not too far that is present days the same as cheap but not like this one old and dirty I think yeah it’s old but if was cleaner I mean the bathrooms that are the HELL would be a nice place ... well for what you pay would be fine and yes it’s true the location at least for me was amazing trendy neighborhood super close like SoHolita and TriBeCa eh... what else ... the subway stop super close around the corner slot of markets here and bars nice location I stayed there 7 nights I spent like 3 there cause normally I was partying and after that went to my fiend
👎 Room was cold. blanket was old. this place is good just for sleep and just for 1 night. I suggest you to pay a little more and book another hotel. The economy living space is nice, but without a roof in each small room, still too noise to start to sleep... I hve not liked even a single thing worst place to live very very small room,no facility no breakfast, restrooms dirty even the living space was not clean towel within the living space was rough and dirty.... employees was good but no facility within the hotel, never rmend only prefer when u hve nothing to stay.... People smoking, they are not proper rooms, you could smell the smoke, hear EVERYTHING that was going on within the rooms. The mattress was old and dirty. Truly disgusting. Unclean including blood on the first blanket we were given, the stairs smelt like urine constantly and the bathrooms were always dirty. The morning the receptionist was also incredibly loud and didn t allow anyone close by to have a good night s sleep. Someone also apparently died in one of the rooms whilst we were there which was incredibly unsettling from the employees offered no explanation to the police presence within the hotel. There is just cabin not a room. I dont use that place. 4 ×6 feed，dirty and smell like a dump you feel like you are in a grave.. So bed. The pictures dont match with the the web site. It is not hotel. It is some cancerbination of hostel and Chinese house for chicken! It is the worst place I have been in my entire life. Rooms without wall, collective sleeping, no privacy, very rood receptionist, very bad atmosphere, i couldn t wait day to leave because they donnot refund money! Chinese owners and receptionist. Do not even think to stay there! Your hokiday in NYC will be ruined. Dirty, claustrophobic and disgusting. By far the worst hotels experience I ve ever had in my life, and I ve traveled a lot in south est Asia. In my floor 1st only one bathroom out of 4 had working lights. And it was always dirty. I m very surprised that NYC council allows this hostel to scam customers with its unbearable hygienic conditions. should not support this hotel imho See above, and each Room was Smaller then a Medicine Closet and the Bed was Smaller then a Army Cot ! To be honest... the place suited my needs for the one night I stayed place to rest my head and wash within the morning 🙂 The location is poor because you are in China Town where nobody speaks English, this put me at a disadvantage straight away. There was hardly any shops there apart from the Chinese ones which I was not interested in. The Amodation was the worst I have ever slept in including Hostels. The living space was too small, and no air. You could hear your neighbors as there was no ceiling, so you got snoring etc. The bathrooms were a mess and needed a proper clean. Due to the awful amodation I was more or less forced to go out ande back late. Staying at the Grand Bowery ruined my stay in New York. Avoid at all costs, pay the extra to stay in luxury and in a place where people actually understand you. I would not give this place 1 out of 5. Some people were inconsiderate, smoking in living space or the bathroom, loud talking on their phone in room, couldn’t turn off loud fan in bathroom at night, etc Do NOT stay here! If you can avoid it at all costs I would. You can literally hear everyone like they are within the same living space with you because the ceilings are open! We got charged extra fee when we a

👍 Location versus the price are premium. 2 minutes walk to the subway. 10 minutes walk to Times Square. You can not beat the rates considering the location. If you have done Hostels before you will like this place. There are paid laundry facilities onsite plus bag storage. The employees is friendly and very helpful.plaints. I like that it is cheap! The Grand was so clean and well-kept. The rooms and the bathrooms were very clean and neat. I am traveling with my sweet little dog, Roza, and even though she is a :Service Dog some places I have stayed have given me a difficult time. Everyone at the Grand were so understanding and make my littlr Roza feel like a Queen. I really like that because I need to have her with me and when people are not understanding it can just ruin the entire experience. Also... it s ina really great location and convienient to everything. I hope I have a reason to stay there again very soon. The gentleman who checked me in was super nice and very helpful. Thank You ! Everything was good, although living space was a little bit small but clean ... for us that was no problem, because if you are in NY, you want be in da streets. So I think that this apartment has awesome location and price is the best for this area. The location is the ONLY good thing about the property. Very central location, allowing us to explore NYC by foot at least on the first day really nice soft beds, the kitchenette was good. It definitely could ve been cleaner but the showers were well kept so that was nice. Location is great, right in midtown with easy access to everything. Location is AMAZING!!! Only 2 minutes from Empire State Building. Few minutes from Harold Square and near Time Square. Subway was really close and we could assess everything that we needed! The ensuite was great. Because I travelled alone it was much more convenient to be self contained. I loved the privacy and location of the property, although all of the negativements, this place was amazing! Definitely will be staying again not at all what people say! Location The location was great because it was close to almost everywhere. You can move through Manhattan with single subway rides and even take a walk. The amenities were good, the location was amazing we were close to everything. The living space was spacious for a family of 5 and very nice looking. Totally rmend the place to stay The location The property was just fine. The building isn’t far from anything, you make your way around easily with the subway or a taxi. The living space was clean, neat, fortable and looked pretty nice. The bathroom did not look as clean as the pictures but defiantly was not dirty or gross. The front work area kindly helped out with any questions I had. I did not like anything at this room,it was ugly, without window, a broken cattle, the stuff did not care, it was awful expensive, there were mice -i even was thinking never too book again with booking We were so scared for the reviews that we read before. But we have a big surprise. The living space was clean, space was good, the living space veryfortable, great temperature it was so cool outside. The share bathrooms was not to bad at all, were clean all the time and we never had to wait to used. The location was wonderful. We walk to all the atraccion. Over all we have a wonderful experience. The living space was dirty full of construction dust.
👎 Heat was very bad, cooperation, Staff donor know what is the meaning of Customer Service. All they know is, it is cheap Hotel Soooooo badYou have we good location only I can t think of anything.... They didn t change anything. fresh Towel . toilet paper. In Fact we had to take toilet part from the conference area to replenish our supply Complaints. This apartments has shared showers, but the floor and toilets was clean everyday. Wifi connection is not available in rooms. Shared bathrooms for all rooms. The men’s restroom was constantly full of urine on the floor. The woman’s restroom had constant dirty showers and sinks. We called the owner to ask for her to send someone to clean the restrooms. After we called her, she calls us shortly after saying that the bathroom is spotless and she doesn’t know what we are talking about in others words called us liars, and wipes the bathroom. Here’s a tip; bring your own hand soap as well, because there’s not even hand soap within the restrooms. The living space description says there is hair dryers as well as shampoos and soaps available. For our four day stay, and a family of three registered for the room, we only received three small packets of shampoos and three soaps for the entire stay. When we woulde home from a day of sight seeing, we tried contacting the owner for the hair dryer and soaps, with no answer. I proceeded to ask the front work area person if they have extra, and I got directed to the closest store. Thanks. To high if off, the pillows were horrible, the hallways smelled disgusting, the front work area people were unpleasant, the owner was just as bad, this place charges for EVERYTHING. For Early check in at 11am instead of 4pm costs $35, to store in other words put it in a closet your luggage before or after your check in your living space costs $10.. all in cash of course. And of course, if you don’t bring the exact credit card you used to book your room, you either have to pay the entire living space in cash, OR charge the living space on another card, get refunded the original amount except for 9 transaction FEE.. all in all... stay here only if you have no other choice. There are no mirrors within the living space or within the bathroom!!!There are only one shower for I don t know how many people. WiFi!!No instructions about anything. Can be noisy. The living space was very tight for four people with very little space to get past the beds. The air con unit was not held within the window properly - it nearly fell out when I tried to air the living space not fun from the 7th floor!. Weird structured building with shared bathroom on a different floor. Small elevator and some stairs we have to take to get to our living space with big luggages.t clean. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! THEY DOUBLE CHARGE ME AND DO NOT WANT TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AFTER THEY MADE ME PAY THEM CASH ALL BECAUSE THEY LOST THE RECEIPT FOR MY STAY. THE ROOM WAS DIRTY THE WORST BATHROOM YOU COULD POSSIBLE SEE, MIND YOU IT S A COMMUNITY BATHROOM WHICH THEY DID NOT EXPLAIN IN THE LISTING. NEVER WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY!! THE MANAGER ALSO NEEDS TO BE FIRED ESPECIALLY AFTER TELLING ME SHE HAS 5 OTHER CALLS AND SINCE SHE CAN;T HELP ME SHE S GOING TO HANG UP. WHO DOES THAT? Wi-fi was only available within the lobby and it wasn t very good. Don t expect to get any kind of work done. There is also no lost and found of any kind so if you lose anything during your stay don t expect to

👍 was a cheap option It was only $60 a night and was in Chinatown! Best deal ever! Low price. Can leave the building quickly through the door. The apartment there is in a good place, is really cheap. It’s your hotel but only for sleep!! free of cost coffee The hotel is located in a very good place, near the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges, in Chinatown. The closest street is Canal street, a very important road with a lot of subway stations to go to everywhere. The neighborhood is so nice to visit. The employees member who works during the day was very friendly. Affordable, clean, good location They provided towels, body wash and shampoo. Staff were really niceClean, the hotel is clean it s just agedMicrowaveHot water Sound travelled a bit, but any time someone made a noise the management quickly told them to be quietSome people might not like having no windows, but it actually helped me sleep off the jet lag It was very cheap for NY and the employees is very helpful with everything. We needed to prolong our stay so they did everything they could eventough they were fully booked. Good location. We were satisfied. Very good location. Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay for the price. Just know what you’re signing up for when booking the cheapest place in Manhattan. It was cheap and clean. Other than that, there was not much else to say about it. thing to be honest. Absolutely nothing, the place is dirty, unkept, smelly and noisy. The employees only 1 person spoke English was really nice and myments are not a reflection on him, but the disgusting trash can they call a hotel. the location was near bus and subway, in chinatown, very busy area. Great value for the money. If you re on a budget or a student then I d rmend this. It is in a great location and close to a lot of things. The employees really really try their best. You can tell that they want to do the best job they can with the budget and conditions they have, and I like that. Enough wireless bandwidth to watch YouTube at night. I didn t try to stream anything extreme, but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The next time I visit NYC, I ll probably be staying here again. The bed wasfy. And the Wi-Fi was okay Excellent location for this sum of money! Also very clean and exceed all expectations after seeing so many poor reviews here at first. This hotel was the worst bad and off course very expansive that i,ve been from 1972.Bad is so light. This hotel is horrible! It was OK for the cash they want. The bathrooms are rather clear. The rooms are small, but it wasn t too hot with no conditioning or windows. The personel is friendly, and tea coffee is free of cost 24 7 The location is very good, at the downtown of Manhattan, close to the subway. The living space is tiny, but clean. The employees clean the bathroom several times a day. Location was good, only 10 minute walk to Brooklyn Bridge. thing! Wifi Good location. Metro Station is not far around 5 min walk Cheap priceparing to the location only not to the hotel in general. Kind Staff. Just Night shift guy needs to improve his English language. Very little, I was looking for somewhere inexpensive for a couple of nights and would have checked out sooner if I had been staying longer - within the end it was more trouble than it was worth to do so given my short stay. The loca
👎 Really poor rooms, Space within the rooms. Only one bathroom was working which was quite a walk from the hallway. Wouldn t rmend it to anyone tbh. Go for a bit better option with few more $$. The bed was not 6ft in length so I had to curl my legs at night to actually sleep within the bed. My booking. reservation wasn t available to the receptionist, so I got stressed out about having to find another place to stay or pay high price for last minute reservation. Fortunately that wasn t the case as I got an amodation there for a price even lower than on the original reservation. They advertise morning meal but don’t actually have any. The entire building smells like pee and cigarettes. There was loud hammering each morning as they are under renovationThe rooms are extremely small, much smaller than the pictures lead you to believe. The bathrooms are gross and half of their shower curtains don’t even cover the entire shower The rooms are small, the installation are regular, it isn’t so clean. deadbolt on the outside door, just a turn lock on the door knob. We expected bunks, and these were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Half dressed people roamed the halls on their way to and from themunal bathroom. Bathroom in our living space was so CRUDDY we put a towel over the bath mat to cover it. place to hang wet towels; not a towel bar, or a hook or even a nail in a wall within the entire room, including the bathroom. Supposedly for 4 people, and with ONE ELECTRICAL OUTLET this living space was so CRAMPED we couldn’t have more than two people in it at a time. One overhead light fixture, no lamps. One folding chair. ; It cost extra to use a credit card, which, in fairness, was clearly stated on their website. The living space was very very small, only had a bed and a small table. closet, no chairs, no windows ... It wasn t cleaned last the 9 days we were there. The employees member was very rude. He didn t speak English. When we arrived he only said that we had to pay for the room. When I was to pay they didn t accept cards, only cash. I didn t have cash enough and he told me that I could pay with card with a 15 extra tax. The rooms are interior, windowless, and really really tiny, we were two, sleeping in bunk beds, and there was only living space for the beds within the room, we could barely access our bags, and certainly not at the same time. Bathrooms are down the hall, and the owners pretty much don t speak English. When we arrived we were asked to pay part of reservation, over 130$ in cash, without a previous warning isy, stayed here for 10 nights about half of the stay I didn’t sleep well due to paper thin walls, woken up by other guests talking loudly whening home after 2am or else woken up by guests and employees talking loudly in mandarin before 7am The living space was incredibly smallBathroom floor was frequently wet guest fault Looks aged from the rooms to the bathroomThin walls - snoring neighbour Bed creeks The living space was small. 👍thing That we left! The location was excellent,a lot to do in area. The studio apartment was nice and other then walking up 3 flights of stairs the living space was nice. Perfect location, good value for money The only positive was that it was within the heart of time square The location was great. Except for location, rest everything was poor Location is great The location was the only good thing about this apartment. location Great location, 1 minute walk to times square great ubication Location The location to Times Square is amazing. The email guidance for check-in check-out was easy peasy. Our living space was available at 2pm instead of the expected 4pm. The hot water worked great! Woot woot! Location thing. This property is a dirty unsafe disaster Location only Location was close to city square. It was nice it had a fridge, mic, toaster. The location was central to retail and entertainment. Location to Times Square Beds arefy and beautiful! Perfect location. Totally accessible to anything and everything. Will definitely rmended for first-time travelers. The location is excellent.. Good location. Really close to Times Square. I didn’t see any bugs that peoplemented earlier. Beds were fine. I rmend this studio apartment if you plan to spend the whole day out and onlye back to living space just to sleep. thing, dirty and dusty, stained sheets, taps didn t work, smelly, dirty bathroom, cockroaches, cheap and nasty, location the only good part but didn t warrant a penny of what we paid. Would rather have stayed further away and paid more. Totally put a black cloud over what was an amazing experience! The location. We didn’t have to spend any more time than necessary within the apartment. Location - awesome, yards from Times Square. Towels and bedding were provided and my teenager appreciated the wireless ! Good location but thats about it. The sheets were clean Location Property was central and bedroom space was good furnished with iron, toaster, micro, fridge, hairdryer thing Location near Times Square. I was nervous with all the negative reviews about the property; however, when we got there-yes there were many stairs to climb-but the living space was quite charming! While the bathroom could’ve been more modern, it was still functional. I would ignore most of those negative reviews-for the price, it was a good value! Never met hosts and was difficult to get messages as WiFi didn’t work at building at all. When we arrived there was another group after accessing our room. They returned quickly and removed their belongings. Easy access to the parade on 6th Location is excellent, all rest is not. From the very first time I used a lot of cash to confirm my reservation. I called the host and told me that I do not have reservation but they already charged my credit card. This is the first time I have ever had this problem on my booking from I became a member. Just to say that collection of the key was not easy as I had to ring the host a few times before getting the key. I got a bit frustrated however once we got the keys everything else was perfect. I loved the location and the ease of getting to and from the city airport or airdrome etc. I would have no problem rmending this property to family and friends : Location, location, location! Location, and it was quiet. The location was nice The location was great, steps away from Times Square. It wasfortable. The air conditioner worked ok which was good as we were there on a hot day. The location was ideal considering we wanted to be near Times Square. The location was perfect Good location. thing, do not stay here! Only the location of the property Just the location Nice location thi
👎 smelt of gas and grease, noise of the bathroom fan, shower was filthy, bedsheets had stains. Had to climb 5 flights of stairs, which were narrow. This place is a roach infested dump that is located above a nail salon. It stinks walking into the staircase that looks sketchy alone. You won’t see these photos on booking though. There is mold and falling ceiling within the bathroom - notice it’s not pictured. We killed 4 baby roaches, two of which were under the covers. Jake seemed inconvenienced each time I called him with concerns on the steaming heated that we were afraid to turn off, the roaches, the key box... this was the worst experience ever! Me and my girlfriends highly rmend the Hampton that we ran to afterwards on W41st between 7th and 8th, for nearly the same price. Climbing 3 flights of stairs but we knew that before we went. The only other thing was that the beds are so low to the floor. Cockroaches, smelly fridge, lack of bin bags, dirty bathroom, only one out of the 3 lights working, the buzzer didn’t work The list of what me and my didn’t like about Studio on the Square is quite long. We stayed in unit 8 which was 3 flights up steep stairwayOnce within the apt we see it’s nothing like the pics posted on .Substandard conditions. Our first impression were We can’t stay here But like good little troopers we decided to stick it out and make the best of it. Big mistakeThe hardest beds we ever slept in. The smell was very bad like rotten food or something Then we spotted our 1st roach which was within the bed under theforter The bathroom was the worst everSome kind of tube type shower that was cracked and moldy toilet and hot water heart bump up together. living space to even turn around The bathroom sink was right outside the door Cold water needed to turned on from the valve under the sink. Reason being that there was a constant flow of water from faucet if not turned off and the pipes where leaking as wellIt gets worst when on the second night not only did my guest find a roach crawling on her leg we then seen that the stove sinkbo was horribly infested with roaches that wheree from behind the stove and up the walls and within the sinkWent to Duane Reed to get Raid Roach Spray and Air Freshener because the smell got worse and worse each dayI can go on but I think you get the pictureBack to hotel rooms for us. We had our living like the locals experience and will never do that again To . which I love, I strongly suggest you think twice about having this apartment as part of your portfolio. My group and myself still question why we put up with staying there as long as we did. Guess the drinks helped us persevere The linens were old and worn. One of the bath towels had an ink stain on it. There were no hand towels or wash cloths. There was mold within the shower. Also, a large hole within the wall. In the kitchen area there were no paper towels and there were only 3 mugs and about 8 plates. soap to wash ones hands and no tissues. This was not at all up to standards for renting out and by far NOT worth the cash they charge. We saw 2 cockroaches while staying there and no instructions about what to do with the garbage. There were no extra bags even if we were able to empty it. The living space is dim, maybe because 3of the 8 light bulbs were out. 1. escalator, only staircase at 4th level, with kids and parents it was extremely hard2. Room was very small, dingy and shabby with no ventilation3. Basic amenities such as soap, toiletries was not available Dirty, smelly, things are not working within the room, bed was notfortable, and I did not meet anyone from the property. When I called them to at least accept my luggage from I arrived earlier than check in time, no one helped me. Over over over priced for nothing. Unpleasant experience and I will never think to return even if it was for free The 6 inch mattress with no box springs was beyond horrifi

👍 The location is great! Away from noise yet 2 stops from time square. The rooms were clean. For the price it was good place to stay. I would definitely stay here again. was great the location only 1 block away from the metro also many options of places to eat nearby, it felt a safe naborhood The hotel meet our expectations. The employees is amazing. Great location. Super clean. The bed was confy, bathroom was clean What morning meal ? food provided. Reception was good.... provided what I requested..... chair and blanket. Room was clean, extreamly bedding. Location is very good in that subway is only one block away. The employees is really bad and he don’t know what he’s doing when we ask him questions, when we tried to talk to him, he constantly rolling his eyes and not even looking at us.. Great morning meal choices are offered at Manhattan Dinner, next to the subway station. Ten minutes walking from the hotel there are some bars and restaurants. I rmend Gabriela , a Mexican restaurant for dinner or lunch, it is a bit expensive but their food is great. They have as well a good menu of tequilas and mezcals. staying across from my old apartment which is now sublet, but to which I still have access with the permission of the renter, and having access to all my old haunts -- restaurants and bank, etc. The location is perfect. Very close to the subway. Lots of shops restaurants around. Close to subway and eateries. Location was decent Friendly staff. Great location. They took the time to assist any question a first timer needed to ask. The subway map and explaining how to read it was really helpful. Well located, very clean place, quite cheappared of the other possibilities in Manhattan. The living space service is great ! The TV and the wireless were great ! Nice getaway spot for the weekend. Price is reasonable and within the upper west side neighborhood. Very convenient because the 123 trains are only around the corner. The location was great. The beds were alsofortable. Hotel was in a good location, a little out of the city centre. Nice Shops and restaurants near by and subway very close. Located right next to a major subway entrance. Near Central Park Friendly staff. Answered a lot of questions and very helpful with getting grocery around the hotel. New York is crowded and tight but the beds and rooms were clean beyond what I was used to for New York. We lost our 2 bed, bedroom the next day because I forgot to extend our stay but the employees was gracious enough to get us a living space with a bunk bed which was nothing like the dingy ones you see in casual hostels. It could sleep two well because my girls are small and living space though small had a heater and TV. My girls thought it was cool to pay half for it so they could use the cash to shop. Sharing the bathroom is never cool but it was clean and we only had a day to use it. Overall, a nice quiet stay within the middle of the city that never sleeps. Close to Central Park, a $25 Uber to Times square. Next to all the sights in Harlem where we wanted because I have friends who have lived there for over 30 years. Bed was clmfortable, employees helpful 24 7, location was perfect. Close to Central Park, Times Square by using metro, Hudson River etc. Priceeee was nice ; The front work area employees is excellent and very amodating to my requests. The living space was clean and quiet. I have already booked my second
👎 The lobby and halls could use a carpet cleaning. there wasn t something that I didn t like I also liked the towels lol The building temperature was TOO HOT all the time. We had to ask to please put more shampoo on the shared bathroom I didn t like themon area where the fridge and microwave were - microwave was very dirty, I didn t dare to heat my food there : There are no kitchen facilities; no sink, counter, table, kettle...... so that one could not prepare food properly. The place looks sleezy because it needs to be thoroughly cleaned ... halls, elevator, fridge. Old carpet makes it look dirty. Shower on 4th floor was burning hot.... had to keep turning tap to find medium temperature.... Tap kept going back to hot. thing........👎 Our living space was next to the floor door and was very noisy. - Dirtiest place I ve ever been so far, and I ve travelled a lot, you just couldn t step into the bathroom.- The living space was cold, the heat was broken and they didn t fix it though I told them. They just gave me a blanket.- Ufortable and tiny bed.- You could hear the other guests in their rooms.- The employees didn t show hospitality.- They make you pay to save your baggages for a couple of hours after the check out. I wouldn t evere back here. the construction on the street when I moved in but it was gone by the time I went to sleep and that s not the hotel s fault. Also, I asked for a quiet room, but even tho I got one on the street, the windows are fairly soundproof so I slept fine. The hotel is very dated. I was bothered by the loud noise the radiator pipes were making within the wall. Had to sleep with earplugs and even that didn t help that much. Poor customer service, had to change living space due to individual bath breaking but I had to insist a living space change. They did not offer. I had to ask for fresh towels. The shower did not work. When advised at check out, the desk attendant s answer was to have a nice day. The bed was clearly old and worn. thing The living space was very small, you need to be aware of that. About 5m². The living space was extremely cold, we were freezing the whole time. The windows are so old and so bad, the wind was blowing inside the room. It was nothing like on the pictures, the living space was extra small. The hotel does not look like it does within the pictures, rooms are tired looking and bathrooms are old and dated. Walls are very thin so noise is a problem. Our living space was meant to have a sink in but on arrival it was a totally different to the picture and no sink. Room was serviced each day and clean towels provided, beds were remade but not with clean sheets. Bed was ufortable, hallways smelled bad, kind of loud, and the toilet kept clogging up. Hard to say. It was a 3 day stay and it could have been the shared bath and toilet but never saw it dirty. i would hope it is cleaned more than once a day. If you’re traveling alone better if you book double living space and pay a little bit more. Otherwise you may get small living space with bunk bed, next to vending machine and pipes. Was a little too loud and I couldn’t do anything about it. ; The fridge within the lobby that ismunal needs to be cleaned out more often!!! Other than that is a great stay for international students like myself!! Rooms were small. heat. Gave me portable heater that did bot work and was pulling out electricity and turning out lights. Had to ask employees r

👍 Very clean, present days andfortable. Staff were so helpful and very friendly. Location was great close to little Italy and quiet. So many restaurants and bars nearby. Great rooftop to relax. Friendly staff. Good price. Location was favorable, walking distance to the train station. Room is quite small but it fit what I was looking for. The upstairs rooftop is amazing, spent time there doing work and admiring the view. the employees was friendly. Price point and cleanliness. Location was pretty good too. Whoever rmended the Black Seed, thank you. I love Montreal style bagels. The employees is very friendly. The location is great. Great location and great amodations! They have also everything you ll need during your stay at NYC. And Uke, the front work area guy, is so nice and friendly! Overall it was sufficient if you re on a budget. The toilet wasn t too busy and it was clean. Staff was friendly. Location and staff The location is great, the employees were super friendly, and the lobby area is very stylish. The bedding was also extremely soft andfortable, which I loved! The employees were really lovely and helpful the location helped Location and privacy. It was a new experience altogether. It was the first time I stayed in a place like this. Had I was mentally prepared, I would have enjoyed the stay more. The employees were super friendly and weing. The living space was lovely and just the right size for a couple of nights travelling on my own. Location and the bathroom was clean The employees is easygoing, nice and helpful. The location is quite adequate if you, like us, aim to stay in Manhattan, mostly do walking and occassionally use the subway –– this is as good as you may get for that kind of money. The location is a main advantage, because you don t want to stay in a living space any more time, than neccessary, as it s a tiny cabin good just for sleeping. There s a Whole Foods 5 minutes out for quick&easy morning meal dinner supplies. The RNQW subway line is 10 minutes walk away for easy access to the Midtown Times Square Central Park Financial District and Ferries. The premises and facilities are clean, although men and women showers and restrooms are on different floors, so it s a matter of chance, whether you have the right one on your level. The open air terrace on the roof is a nice place to hang out and relax. The hotel waspetitively priced. Theplementary WiFi was indeed fast and useful for researching, however ites with one caveat - more of which later. The fixtures within the bathroom added to the chic appeal if not to the function. The look of the whole building the location and the public areas or places are beautiful Location Good location I LOVED the location and the surrounding areas of this place! Rooms were small but should be no surprise but cozy. Staff was helpful. Really good location close to a subway station, easy to find and helpful staff. The street it s on seems a little bare but if you just turn the corner there s cool bars and shops within the neighbourhood. Even though it s kind of loud within the cabin it gives some sense of privacy, that you re lacking in a hostel. They also have a very nice rooftop there. thing The employees was always nice and helpful and the bathrooms and othermon areas were always kept clean. Plus it features apretty good placement within the city overall, and the garden area on the roof can be an excellent place to unwind. Nice facilities- the rooftop was cool. Nicemon areas. Great location. Great reception staff. The shared-spaces were pretty nice. Nice seating, lighting and fast wireless . The building is nice, and everything seems normal above the surface. The employees were friendly and did the best they could. Location was fine. Themunal areas and rooftop are attractive andfortable. Wifi is free of cost and has good spee
👎 The only thing I could note is that my single bed was very small. I had to sleep curled as I’m 1.88m tall my head and feet would touch the walls. Lots of stairs as well so if you are traveling with big bags be mindful. Alot of people are not following the house rules and as there is no real walls between each cabin it makes it very hard to sleep - people are blasting the TV, not turning off their alarms, watching movies without a headset. One- Hostel closed at 11:00pm and you can not stay out late night.Two- There was bed bugs and all night they play with you.Three- In the cabin you can enjoy other snoring and farting.For- you cannot talk on phone within the cabin because the cabin roof is open and other people will disturb. If you are thinking abouting to this place, note that the ceiling of the cabins is open. That means that you can hear people snoring throughout the night and there s a lot of noise once people start to wake up starting 6am. The doors of the cabins make a lot of noise when you close them, even if you try to be cautious. This was a big dissapointment. I think the description should point out this clearly. Sometimes there were other guests that wouldplain at night making more noise then they wereplaining about. At first I didn’t like the stairs, but by the end of the week I was running up them like Rocky. Awful audibility. You are not allowed to talk in your so-called room. The bed is exremely ufortable. They sell tea bags but don t have any mugs to drink it. You have to pay 10 dollars for luggage left to pick up it later within the same date. I thnk the hostel is overpriced a little bit less than 90 dollars for a night with all taxes, take into consideration that the price on the site is without taxes. The living space original cabin was incredibly small which made it quite a task to move around with luggage within the room. If you travel with a backpack it s fine, but with a large suitcase it was a struggle. Rooms are tiny and you can hear everything from the other cabins. They don’t help at all with the bags even if there are 3 staircases to the front desk The nature of the sleeping cabin area was not clear to me at the time of booking. There are no rooms, but rather the sleeping cabins are in a large shared space, separated by thin screens. These walls do not reach all the way up to the ceiling, limiting privacy and making the space feel very open like public toilets, or changing rooms. I was not expecting this and it was not clear from the hotel info, and have to say I was disappointed. Also, although the window in our twin cabin had blinds, there was another window directly above the cabin window which did not have blinds. As such there was no way to block out the light within the morning. We were also unlucky with inconsiderate other guests, and were awake from 6am due to other people waking up, speaking loudly despite requests to stop, and very noisily rustling plastic bags, zipping suitcases, moving things etc. On a positive side the cabins have lockable doors, and earplugs are provided in anticipation of noise. Also, I suspect the cabins closer to the bathroom toilet would have been very noisy throughout the night, I am glad our cabin was located a bit further away. Although the bathrooms are clean and well equipped, they should have more gender mixed toilettes on each floor. I was assigned a living space on the floor where the men bathrooms is and was notfortable going in them or going downstairs within the middle of the night. You can t tell from the photos but the rooms are not actually rooms - they are cabins that have been placed in rows in a larger hall and all have open grate roofs. With wooden floors, high ceilings, loud doors and no sound proofing you hear absolutely everything - it ispletely impossible to sleep of anyone is moving around, even with earplugs - if you do get to sleep you will be woken as soon as anyone uses
