👍 Next door within the corner was a bakery, and you can eat you morning meal and coffee there very fresh and very reasonable price! The metro was just 3 minutes walk very convenient ! Clean and beds werefortable The Metro the people the little shops and cafes everywhere The hotel was easy to find. The living space was nice and clean. Location. Very nice reception area and I quite like a laminate floor in a room. WiFi was pretty goodpared to some other hotels I ve used within the City. There was a little kitchenette. We only used the fridge to freeze water as there was a heat wave going on in Paris while we were there and it was awesome to be able to take frozen water with us each day. Spectacular Boulanger across the street that had pain au chocolate for 1.15 Euros! The area in general was a great little look in to Paris life for locals rather than all tourists as it was far enough away from the centre. The employees were friendly and helpful, the cleanliness of the living space and the hotel altogether was very good and the shower was very nice. Small andfortable, reasonable decor and decent bathroom. Batignolles Clichy is a lively area - not high end or really central but close enough to tourist sites to be manageable. thing, just a decent manager that heard myplains when I left with my family after the first night. We had booked three. Location was very nice, lots of places near by and a metro stop close. Location is very convenient but thats about it. Cleane. Alot Shop. Great location and friendly employees who were happy to assist and provide extras like a towel each and toilet paper!!. Neighbourhood good, nice patisseries close by. thing It was okay Comfortable bedHot shower Room was cleaned everyday Staff, location Cleaning each day, nice staff. rooms were spacious Cute neighborhood Location and area excellent The location is not bad at all Near lots of cafes. Staff Hotel location thing much, was fairly the cheapest hotel within the area Good location, walking distance of so many places excellent buffet breakfasts. Bedsfortable and the rooms clean. Clean rooms, location of the hotel was also very good. Nice mainstreet location with lots of places to eat nearby. Nice powerful shower aswell. Good place for the price I payed. Close to Metro, with good connections to the historic centre; simple local eateries good for the end of a tiring day - but choose simple, classic dishes.... I was in a family room, i. e. 1 double bed, 1 sofa bed single and the employees installed a baby cot. The living space was one of the largest family living space I have ever had. There is anything you need within the neighborhood: restaurant, parking, parc, supermarket, grocery shop, etc. The north side of the av. de Clichy is multiethnic while the south side is poshier. I didn t take the morning meal at the hotel. You can take some usual parisien morning meal in one of the brasseries or boulangeries of the neighborhood. - Location is in mostly Arabs and African area, away from the center, for me was nice experience in Paris. Very clean . Every day New Towels everything are fine Location Comfortable bed Very quiet hotel Bed moves in whole room Ever thing was great for us. Nice and cozy. Well lo catedral close to Metro. Vnot so nice area in Pari

👎 They gave us a wrong living space and didn’t help move luggage even when I was on my own with 2 kids. Air conditioning was too cold and couldn’t be adjusted Too far from major attractions but the Metro was very close and we were able to get all over Paris Poor environmental standards, e. g. towels changed without request. Room badly furnished for somebody who needs to do some work no decent chair, dingy lighting, weak wireless signal.isy bathroom ventilator, dysfunctional shower head holder, poor sound insulation to neighbouring room. I had a problem with the access within the hotel and within the living space at the night, because the card didn t work and I had to go to the next hotel to fix the problem. bath, when booking it said there would be a bath. Also no kettle or coffee and tea in room, first time I ve stayed anywhere where this was not provided. Where to begin? On check-in discovered that mypany had used their credit card details against my name. Was taken to the reception of the hotel next door to sort it out, where that receptionist had a go at me even though I was clear it was just an error that I myself didn t make and that I d just use my credit card instead. Continued to moan after I handed over my card original receptionist was blameless, he was quite nice. Walls so thin I heard the baby crying next door, people entering their rooms and conversations within the hallway and within the street below. The TV remote didn t work properly - only some of the buttons worked impossible to change channel or volume. Only power socket within the living space seemed to be under the light switches halfway up a wall, making recharging interesting. The reception was empty at 8.15 within the morning and had to wait 15 minutes until someone eventually turned up. We then asked for a taxi, only to discover after another 15 minutes they couldn t be bothered to phone for one. The living space had a moldy smell to it and looked like the walls had been washed to wipe away mold. The flooring was in need of repair and the blinds on the window by the kitchenette were a shambles! The living space was quite small, smaller than it seems on the images online. Wasn t provided with a bath although it stated online that double rooms came with a bath. Hotel employees said double rooms didn te with a bath. Apart from that, everything was fine : t much. Safe would not re-open but employees came and opened it for me - very helpful. Everything. The pictures arepletely misleading. We booked two rooms, and they were both terrible. They smelled, the doors were noisy, when we arrived there was no one at the reception desk, just a couple fighting at what you can call the lobby, the guy was pretty much hitting the woman and he drag her from her hair upstairs back to the living space they were staying at. light from the tiny window they have. The building is pretty old and it is very evident that no efforts to clean it, restore it, or making it more decent are made. The worst part is that apparently this hotel is annex to another one under the same administration, that is like cleaner and more decent; pretty bad they have such a contrast there. This should not be called a hotel, and if it is called like that it should be ONE star. This is crazy bad for a three star. There wasn t one day where both key cards were working. The employees was initially pretty rude, extreamly the brown haired young boy who worked nights. He told us he specifically didn t l

👍 It is a very cool and quirky hotel with lots of personality and charme. I wouldn’t hesitate rmending the place. Very present days and beautifully designed rooms Great morning meal offergoodmunication with ownerLocation right within the middle of Marais, just great Amazing spot at the heart of Paris. Very trendy and convenient. Breakfast is good too. Quirky and trendy small hotel in ideal location at the start of the Marais. Good sized living space with largefortable bed. Breakfast provided, continental style, served to table and was very nice. 24h free of cost tea coffee inmunal area. Ironing facilities etc also provided in this area. Some other nice touches such as their helpful Paris guide and app. I considered excellent valuepared to neighbouring small hotels I have used. Veryfortable and awesome location within the Marais neighborhood. Sweet details such as suggestions for things to do within the city, and a tasty breakfast! Great location - not in a residential area - lots of non-tourist cafes and shopping within walking distance and close enough to walk totre Dame to pick up Hop On Hop Off bus or water taxi. Property provided aprehensive booklet of local sights and a delicious breakfast. Clean and cosy. You see very little of the staff, but when they are there, they give good service. The location is perfect! employees really amodating on early arrival - offered coffee right away - living space prioritised for cleaning. Charming. Well thought out details including full length mirror. Delightful quirky and trendy but unpretentious hotel - really just 5 rooms with a small shared foyer. Delicious breakfast. This would not suit a person who couldn t manage 20 narrow stairs or someone who wanted the amenities of a normal tourist hotel but we loved it s elegant simplicity . Amazing location within the heart of the maris. Cool design of living space and loby area. Very friendly and helpful stuff. Great breakfast! . Free coffee and tea 24 houres. Very Comfortable bad. All and all We had an amazing experience at this hotel and would definitely rmend this place Beautiful apartments, loved the breakfast, quaint decorations, nice staff. So close to major attractions. Will be happy to stay there again. The host is cheerful and helpful. She and her employees really sincerely care about their guests. Location is excellent and although the street is very noisy the living space is facing the court yard and is quiete. My living space number was 1. It is a pretty small room, which might be great for one guest for up to one week stay, but for two it is probably a bit too small for a long stay because of a limited storage space. The living space is nicely decorated and practical, good air conditioner and if you want some air from outside, it features abig window, which openspletely. There is amon area, where the guests can use coffe and tea making facilities 24 7. It also gives free of cost beverages. Breakfast is fresh, good and simple: two kinds of cheese and ham, bread, fresh fruits and yogurt. The door no-key system is great - you need a code to open all doors - just read an instruction from the hotel before you arrive. Very clean. Lovely bedding. Well designed room. Great morning meal and great location. Comfortable bed Very nice amodation, the living space was present days and veryfortable. The morning meal included was lovely. Amazing location. It was very individual and quiet but within easy walk of all the ma

👎 A mini fridge bar at the living space would have been ace. However, this not really an issue. Exterieur of Building is not very beautiful the bigger the surprise when you get into the roomThe single living space was very expensive that night, not sure if it was a specifically busy travel day The facility is up a narrow 20 steps staircase. Maybe not best suited for seniors or people with babies in trolleys. Narrow spiral staircase entry could be difficult with bulky heavy luggage.ise a bit of a problem within the morning - morning meal preparations movement in corridor neighbouring living space alarm clock sounded for over 30 mins - did not especially bother me as I was leaving fairly early, but I think could irritate some people. The living space felt small and was very dark. The morning meal was very plain. I was in Paris for work, and as there were straik both on the AirPort and RAR, i could have just some help, but this is a place without a reception, there was nobody to help. Going up the stairs with luggage was a bit hard and could be a problem for some people The approach to the hotel is a little rough. Having to punch in four codes and climbing a spiral staircase with luggage can be cumbersome! Subjectivement - I didn t like that the shower and wash basin were not divided from the room. door, no wall. It was ergonomically fine, but if you want a privacy when showering, you wouldn t get it. Although the toilet is separate and features adoor Anyway, the living space photoes on the hotel s website give the fair view of the living space layout, so if you check, this shouldn t be a surprise. I also understand that not all rooms have the same feature. The instructions to get there said you needed to climb 10 steps to reach the door. Maybe it s a figure of speech in French but actually it was 21 steps and I felt each one with my 2 heavy bags. The 20 Entry stairs were up a very narrow steep circular staircas which was in need of a good clean and difficult to lug luggage up - then into an airless foyer dining living space - not a good start to a very cramped butfortable amodation!Sorry to be so critical and I recognise it is within the antique part of the city - but..... t much natural light within the living space 5, not very big and street noise means sleeping with the window closed. thing The tele voice from next living space is very clear. thing thing. It was all excellent. thing N A pretty small for the price you pay Very thin walls could hear each steps from all the other guests also construction work a little noisy : morning meal was only ok. thing A little too noisy between Roms and from the kitchen. Perhaps increase Sound reduction. The access to the hotel is kind of annoying because you need a code to access the main door of the building and a code to access the hotel itself and your room. After a long day of work it is hard to remember the codes and if your phone battery dies, you might get stuck outside. not a deal breaker though It was difficult to get in touch with employees within the middle of the night for instructions on how to turn off the fire alarm when there was a false alarm. our living space was quite dark but as we were out on the streets the whole day long that did not matter 1. To manage expectations, the write-up on . should mention that 1er Etage is a very small property with only 5 rooms, that employees w

👍 Unfortunately I would not rmend this hotel. There is no employees or reception available, you are sent aplex code and a phone number to access the living space -- so if you lose your phone or forget to bring it you can t get back in to the hotel. The living space itself was ok but they had a washing machine running from about 4am, and started making morning meal within the hallway reception area dining area right outside my living space at 5am so I got no sleep. Good location but not worth the lack of service, access or rate. Very good location. Nice phone application for guests to see whats near. Friendly stuff. Is opportunity after check out leave luggage to pick up it later. Room was fresh and clean. The morning meal was very good. Continental style, very fresh and well presented. We really felt that we had a distinct Parisian experience, felt like our own apartment. We appreciated access to the little kitchen for end of day chats apanied by our own wine cheese and bread, all purchased nearby. The rooms had lovely, individual decor, very cozy. Good sized shower, hot and plentiful water. The employees were delightful and most helpful. If you want an amazing Parisian experience, highly rmend 1er Etage! Location is great if shopping is your priority breakfast, cleanliness and staff t a usual everyday hotel but a place I can relax yet close to everything. Trendy decor the true Parisian style The location was excellent. The rooms were large by Paris standards and very quirky. Great location, lots of eateries. Clean living space andfortable bed. Modern decor. Free coffee all the time. Excellent location and a very clean room. Breakfast was very pleasant although there was no milk for tea or coffee within the kitchen. Everything was amazing! This is the third time we are staying in 1ere etage and we will continue to do so. Best location, cutest hotel and room. All amenities are great and the morning meal is also delish. The living space is extremely clean, with high standards, the place looks like more friendly than the big chain hotels. Great location for shopping, shows, restaurants. The receptionist is a key element to this place as well. She features anatural approach with customers which break ice and make you feel you are cared of . So I want to say thank you😍. Instructions to access the property were good, bed was veryfy, shower was very very good. I liked the look and feel of the living space and the lights that were sensors Modern, trendy interiors, quiet, very clean andfortable. Well thought out and planned. The employees was very friendly and helpful. The living space was present days and clean. What we really liked was the love for details, for example how the morning meal was made. If we’re back in Paris we will definitelye back to the 1er Etage Opera! Proximity to all attractions, friendly and cheering staff, good breakfast, cleanliness The location of the apartment is very good. Very friendly and helpful service. Special greetings for the lady serving morning meal :I will be happy toe back there. It feels like I ve rented cozy apartment and live while in Paris. With great location and kind service Very nice, clean, pretty place. Small breakfest - but high quality - for me totally awesome. I really wanna back to this place. Perfect for shopping location. Perfect location, just within the heart of Paris. The living space was super well decorated, clean and more spacious than

👎 Have actual keys to the living space or some employees there, have an actual reception receptionist and a lobby so that you don t eat morning meal within the hallway.. The bathrobes was missing. Blanket was a little too warm for the season. Breakfast options the same each day. Only suggestion would be to. place a full length mirror within the living space or even the hall. This is basically a self-service apartment. reception is provided, but instead you have to obtain codes in advance to get into your room. There is no one to assist with opening the door or check in or luggage or taxi as no one is there most of the time. I am not sure if they have made this clear in their website or description, when I asked about this they say it’s included within the fine print. I had trouble accessing the property as I did not receive any emails from the property in advance advising me of the 2 codes that I need in order to 1 get into the court yard and 2 the building. I had to call their number using roaming service to find out when I arrive with luggages. The french lady did not pick up the phone until 15 mins later. She was not there at the property and was going to send me an email to advise me of the code after I feel so lost there at the door with luggages for 30 mins.Upstairs there’s 1 cleaning lady on duty within the morning who can only speak french and refused tomunicate with tourists as we speak English. She said: French only. I settled in and thought, Ok at least I can get in albeit with a bit of a trouble.2 days later the access code got revoked and the same access code that i have been using, are not usable. We are locked out of the hotel, unable to get in. We had to again call the hotel for help long distance roaming again, and they need to re approve the code for us. Initially they said it’s a system issue but when we went upstairs, we saw other guests are accessing fine. Which means our codes are revoked accidentally. It’s all in all not a very good feeling to be unable to access the hotel within the first place, and then be locked out after. Weplained this to the management but the owner said it’s the Parisian style hotel and they said they responded to the access code request in a few minutes via phone when we were being locked out so they were providing good service. living space was stuffy and stinking. morning meal time shall start earlier considering the guests who need to leave the hotel early. rates is a bit pricey for the service and facilities. Shower drainage slow but they fix right away. The morning meal was good but as we were there six nights I would have liked more variety. But it was the norm for European establishments. Water seeping through shower curtain if use rain shower As per the above, some milk for tea or coffee would have been useful and perhaps a map of the local area but otherwise it was an excellent stay. I was allocated a living space away from the reception and go changed to a living space right by the reception. It was noisy from 6am.. I did address the issue to the receptionnist who is lovely so sweet and caring! She explained to me that there is a sliding door inside the living space and It would block the noise. There was no info about it . So I was not aware of the sliding door and it does not look obvious. She promised to make a note for the next customers .Unlucky for me!The available refreshments are convenient. The coffee is excellent.. but maybe should think about alternat

👍 The apartment is veryfortable, it contains everything one needs for a good stay. The owner is a helpful friendly lady, who was keeping in touch via WhatsApp and provided all details concerning arrival. It s a nice and clean apartment with all the necessary amenities, close to a shop and a metro station. The neighbour who checked us in and out was very friendly and hospitable. It was a nice and cosy apartment with great location from east station. Good for short stay with friends or when you need a place just to sleep and cook light breakfast. Host is great and takes all measures to make youfortable, just ask for it. The host was weing. We were not charged for cleaning from we left the living space clean. Nice neat flat quite close to metro station

👎 The apartment is very small, at least it was for the 4 people. So I wouldn t rmmend it topanies over 2. There s a big safety deposit that you have to pay in cash. I wouldn t call the neighbourhood friendly either. The neighbourhood was very noisy all the time except early mornings. Looked like a party place with loud music on the weekend and too many people talking on the streets late night. Because its summer, we opened the windows and so was not so quiet. Location not close to the metro. Had to take the stairs 5 floors to reach the room. Wifi not strong. 1. elevator2. Neighborhood did not lookpletely safe, extreamly within the evening.3. Check-in disaster. We were talking to host Kay via Whatsapp and she warned that someone else would be meeting us on our midnight arrival we had to doorbell ring next door apt. In place, no one responded to the call, and Kay turned off her phone. We had no one to contact, and we two ladies were forced to quickly find another hotel past midnight within the neighborhood, a very discouraging experience. Next morning we were able to check in but no one accepted responsibility for the messup that night.
