👍 The bed was veryfortable, the living space was very clean and my rib steak and wilted greens within the dining living space was superb! Courteous, friendly, convenient. I will rmend this amodation and restaurant. The location was great. The rooms were very nice. All renovated, clean and pleasant smelling. The restaurant within the building was fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This hotel is not for people who cannot carry luggage up the stairs although I m sure the employees would help if required. Clean. Cold climate needs electric blanket. Nicely appointed in rooms. Expensive for a pub. The amazing restoration of the building and the quality of the food. Loved the big bath and bathroom cleaning products were very lovely and a great extra for the room. The veranda was awesome! Great view Beautifully renovated living space and bathroom. The restaurant was fantastic. We ate there for two of our three nights. Very nice rooms, much better than expected for a small city hotel. The dinner within the restaurant was also excellent - again above the standard of what you would expect Nicely decorated living space which was very clean andfortable. Large bathroom. Very clean well maintained nice decor had everything you needed. The meal we had was perfect, steak cooked perfectly. The employees were very friendly and were very attentive nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully renovated old pub. Room was veryfortable and bathroom big, present days and spotless. The pub is within the main street of town, so ideal for exploring. The food was above standard for both lunch and dinner. A quality and convenient place to stay within the area. The property was clean and well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful extreamly the young lady within the bar. She booked us in when no one was at the reception and then looked after us for dinner as well. Very friendly and helpful. Very nice place to stay and dinner was lovely. Great job in refurbishing the building Historically quaint. It was rmended by a friend and exceeded expectations. A veryfortable bed, a gorgeous living space and large shower, and a great location - we walked to morning meal the next day. We loved the hotel - but if you’re an early riser or need to get started early, nothing opens until 8:30 9 within the mornings. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! From the moment we entered the hotel we were made to feel wee - even on a busy Friday night. The employees were very knowledgeable about the area and provided great service. The hotel was renovated four years ago and no expense was spared. The Art Deco design is tasteful and perfectly executed. The rooms are very luxurious with beautiful linen and lots of extra touches like throw rugs for the lounge and the toiletries and moisturiser were divine! We were concerned before booking about potential road and bar noise in our living space but due to the beautiful double brick walls and the quality fixtures there was no noise at all once inside. The food within the restaurant was exquisite! The meals were generous portions of delicious fresh produce and the wine and beer range was extensive. Our stay was great and a very decadent romantic getaway. I couldn’t rmend high enough! The hotel was renovated a few years ago, it is great to see old buildings like this brought back to life. We were pleasantly surprised. I love old buildings, they have a special feel about them. Our bathroom was spacious. The double
👎 I missed a phone charger. thing. One couple had difficulty as there wasn’t a lift. one at check out. It was a bit cold within the living space even with air con and I needed a chair. There was a couch but it was too heavy to move around. Coffee maker would be great The person who cleaned our living space on the first day did a terrible job. Left wet towels, didn t empty the bin no replacement biscuits or tea, no replacement shampoo etc. Much better on the second day. Make sure to book a quiet living space away from the main road as big trucks go by all night. We were lucky to have a quiet living space but our friends were on the road side. They don’t do living space service because it makes the living space smell. Every other hotel within the world seems to make this work so it was quite disappointing to find this out after travelling a long way for work and just wanting to relax in my room. The bar fridge was very noisy needs to be looked at my onlyplaint There was no morning meal available, which was a bit disappointing, although there were cafe s nearby. The biggest let down were the staff. During dinner, in an almost empty restaurant, we had to go up to the bar for more wine. There was little service and not much of a wee. The only thing that we didn’t like was there was no employees at reception within the mornings we needed and iron as we had been travelling long distance. Other customers where also looking for staff. We couldn’t sign out early because there was no help. We eventually found a cleaner who helped us at 945am. Please make it clear when you sign in to save confusion. Mirror in bathroom was hard for my wife to put make up on as it was recessed t a single thing! The bed was on non-lockable wheels on polished wooden floor in a disabled suite. I m not wheelchair bound so it wasn t a huge inconvenience when the bed kept rolling when I sat on it, but it was annoying. I imagine a person trying to get from their wheelchair to the bed might have a little trouble. There was no cover outside the door to make it easier to get the door unlocked without getting wet in poor weather. A hailstorm hit just after we checked in so we had to wait for the storm to ease before unloading. It was difficult to avoid tracking wetness and leaves inside as there was no interior mat on the hard floors. Also there was no ledge or shelf within the excellent disabled bathroom. A fold down shelf in similar vein to the fold down shower seat would have been handy for individual items. Lift could be onstalled to lessen dependence on stairs. employees in morning. Went out in morning for walk left partner still showering. Couldn’t get back into hotel all locked . onlly one living space key which I left with himOther guests locked out too This one had nothing to dislike about . The only negative is that the living space was expensive byparison with other motels pubs that we stayed in on this trip. The living space facilities are no better than the average motel. The bed in our living space 7 was woeful. We both kept rolling into the middle. Very ufortable however if this problem could be rectified it would rate as a 10 out of 10. I have a dislike for going out of a hotel for breakfast. There is no morning meal served at the hotel and although there are a few cafes in city that serve big Aussie breakfasts there are few that serve fruit, yogurt and cereals. The air con duct was right over the bed head
